We built a backyard mini ramp for inline skating

Hey everyone, long time no see! :)
We were busy as crazy and a bit injured at the same time, but we are back and we are coming-in BIG with a perfect size backyard mini ramp for inline skating!
I absolutely love this ramp and was skating daily since built, whenever it was not raining. In the next video I will show you the building process, fails and successes and we will talk about the prices, materials, plans and other building-related things. Stay tuned!
I am rolling on USD 7 boots with MyFit Crown liners, Famus 60mm and Undercover Milky 68mm wheels on Oysi Medium frames.

Looks like "the first" mini ramp since the garden looks like potential to me :D 2 Weeks later: We built our second backyard ramp.... 4 Weeks later: We built our backyard skatepark for inline skating Hahaha Love your videos, have fun bro and much love and joy and the motivation for practicing the next trick :)

Hi mate, hahaha we were already laughing about that :D I can only promise it won't happen week-by-week as it took me 6 days to only paint all the plywood 2 times from both sides :D But you never know what happens later in the year :) Thanks and have a great weekend!

@@VandKoala Ya. What did you use to coat the top layer sheets? Just a poly or something? I am looking into Skatelite since I live is a super wet location. It's super expensive but will last fore a long time and still have decent grip/roll feel.

I am statistically in one of the most rainy places in Europe :D I have used some water based transparent paint, that has a bit of oil mixed in. I doubt you will find it by the same name (Gori 502). After applying the first layer the wood became rougher than untreated. After the second one it got smoother. Now the third layer might have been a mistake as now it is a bit (too) slippery and the paint fully settles in 6 weeks... Undercover milky wheels kind of work, anything else is too slippery to skate. Skatelite in Denmark is ridiculously expensive, top layer from skatelite would have cost me more than the entire ramp (3000 EUR), so I took the risk to experiment with hardwood plywood that is glued with water resistant glue (WBP) and the paint I mentioned before... We will see if I need to replace the entire surface for the next season :)

@@VandKoala Ya I feel ya. The top sheets alone would cost me $2500. I would have to budget like $4000 for the ramp.

@@ThirtyandRollin If you go with satellite get someone with some experience. Allan told me it is brittle and breaks easy. It takes some effort to slowly bend it etc. If you have the budget it will live long for sure

This is the reason I dream of one day being able to have outside space, first thing would be a rail and then a mini ramp! It looks so sick and you've got the potential to build so much more if you feel so inclined. Your coping game is gonna be on point!

My coping game is on my crushed quadricep now 😂😂😂 can barely walk. I am renting this place and taking a risk to be kicked out one day with all of the ramps :D that is what stops me a bit. But I love this mini and my tricks already improved in just a few sessions. Can’t wait to heal up and back on the mini!

Very goog work! I'm planing to build a ramp like your's this summer. Why did you use plywood instead of multiple plate? I would appreciate a list of the building materials and the approximate costs! Have fun with the skate ramp!

@@Jenson_B the side panels are made of these plates. They are expensive and very very slippery! They are also very hard to bend. I would better then go for skatelite plates. Just the price is insane :/
