Yes, it is true. We have sold all of our belongings, quit our jobs in Toronto, bought a used van, got our dog, a suitcase each, some filming gear and off we go.
Life has blessed us with opportunities so that we can make a step forward in exploring this beautiful unpredictable adventure called life. And our hearts are filled with pure gratitude for how this amazing adventure has opened up for us.
Is it scary to leave like that? I can’t say it’s not. Its scary changing your life. Stepping forward into the complete unknown, without a plan, a security line, or a plan B ready to be played. But at the same time I’ve never felt so liberated in my life. And every time someone asks so where will you go next, it’s thrilling to hear ourselves stutter on the words, “we don’t know.”
No more attachments, just our love, our dog, and this beautiful experience of existence. We’re about to drive upon an empty road that will lead us to beautiful, adventurous, frighting, and awakening experiences.

6 years ago my husband and I took the same plunge as you. I can relate to every single sentiment you have shared. There is nothing like this experience in the whole world. It is thrilling, frightening, confounding, fulfilling all in one giant ball. Don't give up or turn back because there will definitely be days where you will want to, where you, your family and or your friends will question your sanity and call you back to "reality" / "safety" / "security" and "normalcy." Don't do it, be true to yourself. Doors will open exactly when you need them to, money will show up at the right time and as I said to my husband several years ago now, "as long as we're not sinking, we may as well keep walking on water." Here's to 6 years of walking on water. We've had the crap beat out of us but I would never go back for anything. Sometimes it helps to gain encouragement from those who have went before us. We're currently camping out in Florida. Welcome to stop by anytime!

I'm only 14 but your video has had a massive impact on me, i don't know what I want to do for a living when I'm older but this video is truly inspiring and has made me wonder if one day I will do the same as you two (starting my own journey). I subscribed for the yoga videos without realising what good people you both are, you are an inspiration. This video has been put together so professionally as well. I would say that you're very lucky for having this opportunity but I feel like it's better to say that you two are hard workers because it wasn't luck that got you to start this journey, it was yourselves and I'm really really impressed + proud, I hope you keep us up to date with what you're doing because you have made me so happy to hear that I could have a life that doesn't repeat, I too have found that life can do this in many ways, each day of school especially but after school I will now dream big and work hard for those dreams. I keep coming back to these diaries from time to time. I was so motivated when you posted these, but still after years I watch them to remind myself why I'm doing what I'm doing. Actually. It takes courage to do something when you're afraid. Some people would be terrified of doing what this amazing couple did. So yea maybe they do have money coming from RU-vid, but it took them a lot of hard work to get the amount of subscribers that made it possible. We feel like you. We do yoga, meditation, we are vegans and we sold everything in Bulgaria get all we could in the car and went to Germany. Well we have a home now, but there was a DEath of so many things. We are not so spiritualy grown to be homeless yet. And if that matters, the girl is extremely beautiful! This is the deepest meaning of love: finding someone who shares the same vision of life with you. Making the hardest choices together. When you're alone on your path, it's a little bit easier, but when you're a couple ( + the cutest dog in the world), you have to make sure you're having the same dream to "embrace the change". In a world where people are so focused on themselves (and most of them give up relationship because of that), you did something rare and incredible. Sarahnity, you might try doing what you really love on a part-time basis. Take a class, join a club, etc. See your job as a means to that end. That being said, only God can feel the emptiness that resides in all of us. He knows you better than anyone and can lead you to the abundant life. God bless your searching.

I'm on a path to do almost the same thing with my husband. Except that we are starting much later than you are. We are both 42. Both have had children. We're on a 5 year plan. All kids will be grown and all bills will be paid off. THEN, we'll see where life begins when off of the debt slave wheel. Doesn't it feel great to see through it all? See it, Believe it, Be it. Go live it. :)

Also What about your vegan lifestyle, I mean obviously you'll keep it going, but I'm from a small town in Alaska and let me tell you there are so little vegan options anywhere. The only two places that actually serve vegan food are the supermarket and Taco Bell. Everyone else is so against it.

Well firstly, we have taken the plunge to hopefully allow our DVD and Book sales and money generated by RU-vid to keep putting a roof over our head as we travel. Its been a long two year plan in the making... and all we did was save up every cent of our money and work hard creating all this with every extra hour. Secondly your vegan question... we will be vegan for the rest of our lives. Sometimes like in your situation it can be more difficult, but it is worth it for so many reasons. And almost always, no matter where we are many many people are so against it... but we prefer to focus on the love of why rather than the negativity of why not. We cook a lot when we travel... and its surprisingly amazing how many restaurants or other places will make special alterations to items on their menu to accommodate. Good luck! Lots of Love... If you think life is what these two are doing, you are wrong. Life is not about anything more than survival, every other animal on this planet understands this. The human animal is wired differently than most I will admit, but we grow by what we learn, not where we learn it. People want to think "if I were just in a more beautiful place I could be at peace", that is just a lie some tell themselves. There is beauty all over the globe, finding beauty in the place you are is only difficult if you stop looking. Some will think I am in some way diminishing the journey these folks are undertaking, that is not true at all. But, don't mistake the journey you're on for being anything more than a journey. Physical travel has never been required to open your mind, that said, most will never travel in their lifetimes, no matter how many places they journey to.

It sounds like they already had a lot of great traveling experiences. I think they are going to find the itinerant life traveling/living out of a van and a suitcase will grow tiresome very quickly. There are ways to enliven, shake up and de-clutter your lives without going to this extreme. The complaining started right away; not a good sign. And there is no rule saying you have to visit family every holiday although you should be grateful to have great friends and to have family.

Thank you for sharing! You articulate so well the exact seasonal merry go round sentiments I was experiencing as well .I also sold everything I owned to travel for work and then relocate from NY to FL alone . There was a sense of loss at first that I never really addressed but I've found a community that was lacking in NY and my self employment dream job four years later. When I return to visit it's not the same place or people as they all have changed too.I wish you peace and safety on your journey!

This reminds me of Zen and the motorcycle maintenance. I practiced yoga for 8 years; starting college, I went through my most plastic period seeking change and truth. I went through the process from "desiring to CHANGE, to BOLD and HURT, to SURRENDER, to STRENGTH, to FREEDOM and AUTHENTICITY. " Big change comes from big sacrifice." This resonates with me so much. I will pray for you. You guys are amazing.
