There's a lot of shit med students get graded on that ends up having nothing to do with their medical specialty. The coagulation cascade and the Krebs Cycle are two I've heard of in particular. Sure, maybe you beefed a test on the Krebs Cycle, but that probably doesn't mean you're any worse at being an orthopedic surgeon.

You are doing such a good job and I hope you have all the best things you could ever wish please don't overwork yourself tho, rest is important too :D
Jacob is like me for real with the one activity per day. I just stop functioning if I have multiple days in a row with more than one activity, and I'm dead if it's multiple unplanned things.

Idk if Julia reads the VOD comments, but a good middle ground for reading and clicking is a mobile game called Good Pizza, Great Pizza. It’s slightly repetitive but still engaging, and there’s a storyline as well. The character designs are really cute too. There’s also a card game called Miracle Merchant that has short games where you use cards to make potions. The character designs for that one are really great, and each one has a unique animation if you fail their potion. That one I did purchase the full version because it was just done so well, but I don’t remember what the free version has. I’ve also recently gone back to the basics and started playing Tetris, Yahtzee, solitaire, and minesweeper as well.

Their discussion of how y'all consume media is so interesting, I realized I'm like the exact opposite of Jacob -- I have trouble getting into a new game and want to finish the one I'm playing first before moving on to the next, even if I don't like the game that much, I have to complete it (I am in fact a completionist). I also have trouble focusing long enough for a book or a whole movie, but I watch shows in the background all the time (just finished all seasons of Alias). And I don't mind Jacob picking up new games all the time because it's fun stream content!
I think Julia not doing the sassy bully humour tends to just mean it's even funnier when it does come out like that time she told Nathan to quit his bitching or whatever I can't remember what it was on? Maybe a tier list stream? my memory is bad for these things. But i thought that was hilarious 😂. I am also British so will usually take insults in chill contexts as humour unless i really think otherwise..especially on a channel where I know everyone is buddies and banters a lot and knows the other people will enough to know what they can say.

What people do as adults, who want to learn perfect pitch, is just keep a note as their base note and then learn how other pitches sound around that. I don't care to develop it beyond this, but for me I know what a Bb sounds like because of Star Wars starting on a Bb, and if I really want to figure out what a note is I think of star wars, and then I know what the first pitch there sounds like, and then i use that pitch to find the other pitch I'm trying to find. It's slightly to the left of perfect pitch because someone who practices this effectively have perfect pitch, but it's not true perfect pitch.
Khaz, thank you for makig the subtiles color coded, it's a pet pev of mine that subtiltes don't it clear who is speacking, and it's like a glass of water in the derest when I see someone tried to convey it.
The Menu was definitely one of my favorite films of the year. Honestly I think it's much more of a black comedy than a horror movie though. Maybe a horror-comedy (which are my favorite kind of horror).

I live with six cats (and there are tons of ferals in our area, so there are always some in the yard), so I am immensely appreciative of Julia's butthole-blocking, because I see enough of it at home and frankly, I wish I didn't.
1:13:55 as someone with perfect pitch, I *feel* like I could actually teach somebody how to have perfect pitch. I'm aware of the whole thing about it not being teachable (child of music teacher), but I find that my experience with developing my sense of perfect pitch makes it hard to believe that you can't develop or hone that sense.

My dad is someone that just texts very straight forwardly and one time I was telling him because I'm so used to emojis and chatting with friends his texts always seem like he's miserable. So the next time he text me he put "I'm here now 🙂" and it just felt so disingenuous and sarcastic i was like "it's ok you can just text however you want that was actually kinda weird" 🤣🤣🤣 bless him
I tried to find the "House" movie Jacob was talking about and there are AT LEAST 3 movies just named "House" and then one of them has 2 sequels. I have no idea which one he is talking about if they are all related or not 😂
