I like to think that he was so bad all the classic punk bands felt they needed to come back because they realized this is what the genre had become without them. But that’s probably giving this poser too much credit.

I like his music unironically but he is truly not ok... He tries so hard to be cool. It gives a sorta uncanny vibe to everything he does its just not genuine. He's had moments of authenticity where i actually related to his weirdness. Also, i still think rap devil is an overall excellent diss record and on any day i prefer him over modern day eminem... But i fux with old school slim shady more because old school slim shady was lowkey punk.
MGK straight is that one preppy rich kid who decided to play "punk" but never got the actual aesthetic of it. Instead, of viewing punk as freedom of creativity he views as breaking stuff, cursing, smoking weed, being annoying crybaby.. he views punk like a poser, more of a fashion.. and the problem is that it's working and making money off it. I don't understand why he complains so much tho. But those fake profound moments are funny as hell. I bet he's the type of stoner that tries to be philosophical but ends up just speaking some nonsense but he's surrounded by yes men so he thinks he's truly being profound.

I don't think this showed up in my subscription feed. I saw this in my recommended and was like did I accidently unsubscribe from this channel? Sometimes I think it's a bit when RU-vidrs say RU-vid randomly unsubscribes people or doesn't put their videos into subscription feeds but this is not the first time it's happened to me. 🙁

About the breaking stuff, that's a common part of punk and shock rock. That being said, MGK isn't real punk because all he's doing is just breaking stuff for no reason rather than shock value
