I’d have to double check but I’m like 99% sure the reason Scooby isn’t in this is because the investors thought that it would damage the brand if Scooby was a part of it The director publicly said like “oh, you can’t have a talking dog in a serious show” but they were just hiding the real reason which was the brand holders felt it would ruin Scooby’s image if he was associated with this show.

One thing I will say about the show is if the show for some reason does keep going, I'd love to see more of the gang having hallucinations- Like as we know Velma had nightmarish hallucinations of her missing mother which weirdly added to the story and really seemed to add to the show's atmosphere at least from what we've seen in their videos and ironically seeing Norville not only hallucinate Fred's mother obviously because he feels guitly and blames himself for her death but he's also seeing a bloodied Fred is actually kinda genius writing and it honestly makes me want to check it out just because I already have not only the option but also the opportunity- Now I know some of ya'll hearing that want to hang me out to dry but I we're being honest if any of the rumors about the end of the season are true a Season 3 is inevitable like the Second one but weirdly enough I've somehow been willing to see this for what it is is or I guess what I should say it isn't- Which is a "Scooby Doo" show which honestly hearing that as a fan of one of the most literally iconic cartoons dogs to exist- Should be a good thing for us fans like honestly if Mystery Incorporated's version could do what they did without Scrappy then maybe we'll then maybe Velma can ironically become something that isn't what it presents itself or pretends to be, A Scooby-Doo story. Now by no means am I saying this should be accepted by all fans of Scoob or the Solver Squad but like I said when Mystery Incorporated first came out most fans didn't appreciate any of it until it was taken away from us but hear me out if they is allowed continue on who knows it could lead to all of ya'll myself included into rallying together to bring back the much superior version of the iconic gang. Let's be honest we all know what us fans deep down really want or better yet need and that's more Crystal Cove which unfortunately only the former show I mentioned earlier and unfortunately the latter show we all hate exists but the Solver Squad we all know and love need their universe to evolve and while Velma isn't perfect if it's delusionalness is allowed to leaving long enough eventually it was die iut by it's own hand and any remotely good ideas or story plots this shoe has can help revitalize the franchise for an inevitable revival of the true Mystery Gang hopefully in either one of two forms- Either the more Teen Titan's like modernized version of the gang which was arguable the best version of them as they were all being given the most depth and I believe that not only did they create new monsters to unmask for the show every episode but the show had it lived to it true potential could've had a more over-arching narrative like the OG Titans. That being said the second best option to take the franchise in a new direction would be leaning more into the Zombie Island aspect of their universe's potential amd channeling more of that energy the first one captured (We don't talk about that abomination know as that supposed second film. Now the third option would clearly be going back to the formula that the franchise has followed for years which is a valid arguement as it's a save choice but we could all just go back to the regular Squad after dealing with this of all things- No not necessary, as I would argue being put through this slander of intellectual propertynor at the very least image and or brand damaging show that the only true way to earn back not only fans respect trust and loyalty again woukd be to bring back either one of the two greatest things to happen to the entirety of the Scooby-Doo franchise by properly adding adult themes to it slowly like a burning candle rather then force feeding it down your audience's throat disrespectful. Edit: I decided to take the plug anyways because honestly as a fan of true Scooby-Doo Canon and the rest of it's masterful storytelling, it wasn't that hard "tricking my brain" into believing this was apart of the typical Scooby-Doo mythos because honestly it isn't and anyone who things it deserves to 100% is yet again delusional but seeing as how Scooby isn't in this trash I think I can muster my way through two seasons of this crap slowly while examining the show purely for it's writing outside of it's supposed lead star and so called protagonist whilst also examining how some of the people in the writers room decided to well for lack of a better phrase "Best use their time" while either being forced to work on this project or willingly volunteer their way into it's inner walls to try and semi-salvage our childhoods by crafting these Mystery Machine knock-offs into something else entirely despite the delusions of a certain figurehead wanting to use the notoriety of a beloved franchise to try and springboard "their" own personal agenda garbage-... So like or not, hate me even if it helps you cope but at the end if the day I think any true fans will appreciate me willing taking the dive like they did to try and find any sma silver linings out of this god awful show which frankly we have to admit, somehow has a star spangled cast or recognizable voices and besides the best part about it is just because this shoe is bad doesn't mean we can't absolutely battery the hell out this show and make them feels assumed for trying to kill such a beloved franchise with something with clearly never be fully accepted into the fold and who knows maybe I might end up enjoying it as much as them as they clearly seem to be reveling in the fact this dumpster keeps unironically makes jokes at it's own expense as if it were actually somehow cooler when in reality every jab it deliberately tries to make at the real classical and highly iconic masterpiece this garbage tries to emulate so much, it arguably and highly ironically outs itself and gives itself less of a foundation to stand on as a work or piece of what it's trying so hard to be. 😂😂😂😂😂

I know that its kinda taboo to say anything good about this show, but I honestly think its gotten better. It has more good jokes, stopped framing velma as someone we're supposed to like, and somehow added actually likesble character. Don't get me wrong, its still Velma and I'm not gonna call it good, but it's definitely an improvement from the first season.
