last trip to Singapore I went to this Uncle shop ordering 6 different foods 2 rice and 1 porridge only cost us 13$ Uncle you are amazing ! and amazing food too

Uncle is very positive & friendly. This made him much younger. Keep it up. I love porridge & I eat almost everyday. Good for stomach digestion too 👍😊

It's not just gruel, it's a lifestyle! I love congee, make all the time. Don't really need this, but here in the future some rice-cookers will make it, when I learned this my life really improved! So, eat more rice porridge, people! Another thing that changed my attitude toward this was visiting a congee restaurant! They had a long menu and were cheap and popular. I realized that there were dozens of famous versions but that also I could use odd things from the refrigerator... just vegetables one time, meat another time, century eggs and pork if I have that, fermented tofu, chili oil. I think I can never get tired of this cheapest dish!

This video made me so happy. I love seeing my Teo Chew people. So proud to be Teo Chew and it made me smile being able to understand when he talked. I love my language and it makes me feel special and proud because so little people I know speak it. Love this video and loved the man's humour. Reminds me of my dad 🥰💕

Cindy yeah so true! I live in Germany but my parents come from Vietnam with Chinese (Teochow) ancestors. Growing up I only spoke to my mom and dad in Teochow but there are no gaginang people around here I can talk to. It makes me sad that this language is going to get extinct. Anyways I‘m still proud to be Teochow!

Always went there, uncle Boo is a nice and friendly. Their best dish is their steam fish fresh at reasonable price...of course that include their sambal long bean, chiili sotong, baised duck etc .....lots more nice dishes which cant listed down here....go & try yourself.

Interesting guy , really doesn't look his age . but imho , the ye shang hai at this lengkok bahru isn't very nice.. especially at night . The one at henderson is much better.
