I’m mixed and never really had an issue too much. I do feel a little discrimination from black ppl sometimes but my features look black even tho I’m light but not too light. Still a struggle tho I definitely feel you!

You should install barn doors with paint design on them. That way it will add some character, style, and it will be something nice to look at when you are in your office. Also, it will allow to hide your merchandise until you ready to ship it or post pics on your page about upcoming new products.

I wash 1 or 2x's a week and do a ACV rinse every 4 months....I have never needed conditioner or added oils,and like you I drink lots of water and eat healthy.

I’m biracial and I completely understand what you’re going through and feel, it’s very annoying when people ask what am I mixed with. I’m mixed and I get told I’m white all the time. But that’s because I like to snowboard, surf, golf and do the stereotypical “white” hobbies. I think it depends on how you act and the things you do as well as the way you talk, that will determine if people lean towards calling a mixed person white or black. Although I think by default most people would say we’re black off rip 🤷🏽‍♂️ i just say I’m mixed when people ask.

The mix thing 100% I'm always considered black by white people and white by black people. In my case, annoying doesn't begin to cover it. I absolutely hate when surveys that asks for race don't have an option for mixed or don't let you choose more than one. I hate that people treat me like I can't belong to either community, it's just tough all around. I'm still proud of my looks, but I think that's more self esteem than anything else

Yes. But washing it everyday will essentially take out all of your natural oils. I’d recommend washing it either once a month or every two weeks depending on if you do a lot, work out etc.

Not mixed, but have two mixed kids. My 29 yr old daughter would agree with it being annoying. People used to assume she was Puerto Rican and that she spoke Spanish. My 18 year old son (how I found you, cause were thinking of loc-ing his hair) doesn’t verbalize his feelings about it to his father( Black) or me (white.) When he was little he used to say he is Golden. 🥰 I tend to agree❤

I'm a little lighter than you (I'm french creole) and I get mistaken for Mexican, Jewish, arab, Italian, ect. For me it's particularly tough to feel "seen" by most black folk up until I start talking, then they really know 😅. White folk on the other hand are just straight scared to assume which is always funny to watch😂. But I know what you mean, sometimes it's frustrating/annoying to be mistaken all the time, it actually is something that holds me back from getting dreads, cause ya boy don't wanna put up with foolish people🙄.
