That burger looked amazing! I wish I could eat potatoes. My intolerances came back potato, honey and fruit/grain combo. It’s been a bit of an adjustment to say the least. Love 💕 the fiber focus of this video. Thanks!
Yes, the burger was amazing!! Too bad you can't have the potato bun, but lots more yummy food to try! So glad you like the fiber focused content! Thank you so much for the comment!💚
So my top books for an anti-inflammatory diet/ lifestyle are Young Forever (Dr. Mark Hyman MD), The Anti-Inflammatory Diet & Action Plans (Dorothy Calimeris/ Sondi Bruner), and Outlive (Peter Attia MD). In terms of books about naturopathic medicine, I don't really know of any that explain what it is. Most of the ones that I know are more educational books/textbooks. But I am planning on doing a sit-down video explaining what naturopathic medicine is and how I got into the field. So you can keep an eye out for that! Hope that helps 💚
So glad you like the video! I don't have them written out anywhere, but I am currently working on a project that will include more recipes, so keep an eye out for that! Thank you so much for the comment!💚
Thank you for the informative video! I’ve been adding a lot of fibre to my diet and drinking water, but I become very bloated and have gas. Do you experience the same?
So I don't get bloated from a high fiber/ high water intake, if anything it helps my digestion. If you are upping your fiber it is important to gradually introduce fiber-rich foods into your diet. If you are still getting a lot of gas and bloating it may be a sign that the digestive system needs more support! Hope that helps 💚
I think that they are both great! In terms of holy basil vs. chia, they are both super nutrient-dense; Basil seeds can be higher in certain nutrients and fibre, but chia has more omega 3. So I would say you could use both, or whatever one you prefer the taste of! Hope that helps 💚
I always get chicken thighs with skin on and bone out! I don't do anything to them (the butcher cuts them like that). I cook them for about 10 minutes on each side (just cut them open to check if they are done). Hope that helps 💚
Hi Danielle, I clean them the same way I do with other produce (soak them in water and baking soda for about 5 minutes), and then I scrub them with a brush! I feel you, I'm always worried about how clean they need to be, especially because I eat the skin! I do my best to buy organic, clean as much as possible and then don't worry about the rest! You could also always peel them too! Hope that helps 💚
So alcohol is considered a class 1 carcinogen and in addition to this we know that it is can significantly damage the liver. Because of this i generally recommend that people keep alcohol intake to a minimum. I generally have a drink every few months! Hope that helps 💚
Hi! I get it from the health food store (herbs and nutrition in toronto if you are local). It is by the brand Eden. I will link them below so you can try to find a store near you! Hope that helps 💚 Link: store.edenfoods.com/unsweetened-edensoy-organic/
@@faribahaditaghi2588 That is amazing! I'm not sure what other stores have them (that is the only one that I know of). But they are shelf-stable, so if you are ever in the Bloor/Annex area, you can always stock up!
So there is really no evidence that eating fruits and vegetables is bad for us. In fact, the overwhelming evidence shows that these foods are great for us! These doctors often reference small measures of action as their rationale for these diet recommendations, which do not take into account the full impact these foods have on our bodies! I hope that helps 💚
