3weeks ago, i saw myself next to my friends in a window reflection and they were so thin and well dressed compared to me. I was feeling really bad and disgusted by myself like how these pretty girls wanted to be friends with me?? Is it pity? So i was motivated to lose weight. I went from 89kg to 86kg in one week, but then, my parents brought home chocolate yogurts and Nutella and i feel again. For two weeks I binged again, but i don't know with what magic, i only gained 0.7kg when i was literally eating junk food. Few days ago, I saw myself again, in the bus' mirror, i was so big compared to my friend, i was ashamed and disgusted by how fat i am. So i started my weight loss journey, i went from 86.7kg to 85.8kg in few days!

Does few kg make difference in looks? I’m just like you throughout all school I told myself I would change there’s no way I’m going to university like this Yet I’m still the in uni struggling to talk to anyone cuz I’m ashamed of myself i don’t understand how I look what’s my self image The problem is 1- only when I’m around ppl do I become aware of how big I am in home I view myself as normal & but get my mentality shattered when I go outside 2- I used to eat a lot of calories which is why I assumed I’m fat yet rn I’m barely eating anything for a year now & still look the same😭 My brain can’t handle the idea that I’m going to be inferior for the rest of mylife

That’s goated you wanted to lose weight so you started, keep it up and don’t be discouraged you’ve already done the hard part of starting so keep going but also don’t compare yourself or try to lose weight for the sole reason of comparison and looks, ik we all usually have looks as one of the reason to lose weight but I’m sure if your friends are somewhat of decent they don’t care what size u r, don’t compare yourself to others you’re your own person and if someone can’t see you as you becuase of your weight they have no place in your life. Don’t give up even if u have a few down days keep going!!🤍

@@RiRi-ku6xza few kg does make a difference in looks, you might not see it since you look at yourself everyday but trust that they’re is a difference and you might feel the difference or even when u put in clothes they are a bit looser than first. Also those few kgs that you lose obviously build up and will make a difference in your fitness at the end. Also don’t let weight be at the center of your life and determine everything like wether or not to go up to a person and ask them to be friends, most people don’t care and if they do then so be it😂 move on and keep looking out for yourself don’t give too much of ur attention to what others think of you at the end of the day u only have urself. Also weight loss isn’t about how much less u eat. Obv y still have to eat a good amnt even if ur looking to lose weight. Maybe if u can, then ask a doctor/nutritionist or someone with knowledge in that area to help you. But if you can’t then a simple calorie deficit is very good and try to eat more protein(imo no food group needs to be cut out just everything in moderation is good and a generally good diet:) and exercise, that exercise doesn’t have to be anything insane walking is also form of exercise even if u can get a few extra steps in that will contribute to wl, also for ur calorie deficit try not to go too low, find ur maintenance calories and subtract like 200-500 off of it and be consistent! Sorry the comment is long asl😭 and remember to take care of urself mentally and physically throughout it all, don’t be too harsh on urself💕

What I noticed in all of us obese people who decides to lose weight, it only works when we do it for ourselves, when we decide we want a better health. I tried a lot of times for years to lose weight because I felt ugly, and because I felt shame when standing amongst my friends, or because somebody made fun of me. I only got motivated to change for good when I noticed how my weight was affecting my health

Especially keep trying while you are young, you don't want to get into your 50's and realise how many opportunities you missed because of your weight ....... And, very importantly, this will be the time when all the niggly little health issues start like diabetes, arthritis, gout (the things you tell yourself are age related but in fact, it is obesity). The hardest part is keeping it off though. The best thing you can do to keep it off is weigh yourself everyday, keep journaling your meals and calories, and don't think .... "I lost 50kg. I have only put 1kg back on" because that starts the slip.

I was also facing the barrier, that the weight loss is kind of finished and you don't know how it will succeed. I gained weight back. I stopped pulling on my shirt once I got fitter. However, the habit I kept is to not judge what other people are eating, whether it's Nutella with a spoon, eating smelly fish, or just avoiding all foods. No matter if they are fit or fat, or said they are following some diet, we are all going through our own struggles. One innocent comment or nagging someone to try a little snack can ruin someone's day, and God help me, I don't want to be that person.

Id never recommend doing this but it got me from around 121kg(when i had and used the idea) to 105kg, this definitely destroyed my metabolism only finding out around December-January?? still fixing it from going into a slight surplus for a short bit and a maintenance because i felt lazy, only starting my pace now which is how im at 94kg as of now

Hi Gerald, thanks for sharing your experience. While I'm not obese, I've struggled with being overweight all my life, and I'm currently trying to shed some kgs for cosplay. Right now, I'm doing it for fun, to challenge myself, and to prioritize my health, not for anyone else. I've encountered some guys who've rejected me because I don't fit their standards, but I've also met wonderful guys who accept me just the way I am. I'm sorry to hear that you've had to endure hurtful comments. No one deserves that, regardless of their shape. People should be encouraging you to lead a healthy lifestyle rather than focusing solely on your appearance. You look like a strong person! Congratulations on overcoming obesity!

Good video, direct, descriptive and I'm sure other people struggling with their weight prefer it in this way. At the end of the day, it is our faults, it is us who are making ourselves fat/made ourselves fat and we would be lying if we didn't feel self conscious no matter how self-assured you are. I'm currently losing weight and like you I peaked at 99kg after a pretty dark time in my life (I never imagined myself to reach or come close to 100KG so this was a huge wake up call). I'm currently still cutting but I'm down about 15 kgs now ~ trying to build some muscle but I think as fat people, losing weight tends to be the number one priority on our minds and gains come as an afterthought. Honestly, also when you've lost weight once before, it definitely becomes a lot easier the 2nd time and I'm currently just cruising at my own pace but already feel a lot healthier. I just take the stairs everytime to my apartment and put my main focus on cardio.

I have a new way of how i look at food... Food, to me is just that...food. Its absolutely okay to see your food as an enjoyable thing, its ok to enjoy the food. BUT!! Food should not be the source of everything good in life. Ive eliminated processed carbs (i have identified they make me binge eat, so i don't allow them in my body...and they don't have any nutritional value) i eat whole foods (predominantly meats) low carb vegetables, and lower carb fruit occasionally...i drink nothing but water and tea... I stopped looking at food in terms of a relationship...i have no relationship with food...i need to eat... that's it and that's all. I enjoyed your video, new subscriber❤

i was anorexic when i was 15 years old, heavily restricting my calories. then one day, i had a chocolate (very unusual cus i cut out sugar), and then suddenly i couldn’t stop eating. that was the beginning of my BED. it’s been 5 years, and i’m STILL battling my bed. i lost weight last year and worked hard to heal my BED and bad eating habits and finally got to a healthy weight, but then this year i went through a breakup and that’s when things went downhill again, i reverted back to my self destructive habits and turned to food for comfort and gained 7kg in 2 months. i felt so defeated and like i threw away all my hard work just because of a bump in my life. and now i’m trying to reverse the damage, but that 2 month habit of overeating and binging everyday has been so so hard to break. i started fasting 4 days ago, and it was hard, but yesterday (3rd day) i went through something traumatising and decided that i could eat a meal, my head was hurting, i had cried my eyes out. i was exhausted so i decided to fuel my body with some food, thus breaking my fast. and today, i did the same thing and broke my fast around dinner time and definitly over ate. i feel so hopeless, i’ve been battling my BED for 5 years, it’s been an endless war with my demons in my head, and it feels like it won’t end. i keep asking myself why wont it end, why?? what did i do to deserve this? but this just reminded me to not give up. i hope i can overcome this. and return and get my dream body. i have to mention that this fast was a spiritual fast to try and get closer to God, but also i was hoping this fast would finally fix my binging. although it hasn’t gone as smoothly as i hoped, it has helped me in some ways. i felt closer to God even if by 1%, and i also did lose 3 kg in 3 days. so, starting from tomorrow i’ll resume my fast, and i hope God can reach me through my devotion to him. and i hope he can offer me more guidance and advice to help me heal my spirit and overcome my addiction. hope isn’t lost. it feels hopeless now but as long as we try, no matter how much we fail, it will get better if we continue to stand up. fail 7 times, stand up 8.

I am Girl turning 14 this year and i weigh like 80 kg. Even though i don't look that much fat and don't eat much . But my sis is 13 and weigh 78 kg, and looks very chubby. My mommy told me that due to height i don't look fat (i'm between 168-172). But why do i weigh this much, all my classmates are like in 40-45 kg. Thankfully my friends and some of my classmates don't make fun of me (as compared to their bodies i'm fat) I don't know about that metabolism thingy, but i try to minimize what i eat daily. If i can believe myself, i can lose weight, i'm from Asia specifically from India, so we daily have rice. Bcuz of this i can not even follow a diet. when my school take the health checkups, i feel very insecure and ashamed of myself, so i quit that day, but it only makes me more uncomfortable. When i see pretty girls online it only feels more disgusting, and about the fat folds u mentioned is really very insecure. I'm very disappointing in myself for not using this 50 days vacation for my change. But i NEED to loose and shape myself anyway. I'm trying to incorporate physical activity in my daily life as much as possible. Ain't no way that i'm gonna be in this shape forever, like my high-school gonna end in 2 years. Thank you so much for bringing this inspiring video, and giving an opportunity to myself to list my thoughts. I'm sorry for this big essay, i just wrote my inner feelings down. Try to incorporate high fibre foods like fruits and vegetables in the form of salads & ya don’t completely cut carbohydrates from your diet coz your body especially brain needs it trust me when i say this coz i am doing mbbs becoming a doctor so ya. Also try to be active in any form & REMEMBER YOU CAN DO IT AT HOME & BE ACIVE FROM HOME TOO & it should be what you enjoy doing like dance, yoga, pilates, zumba , walking, running , cycling 7 weight training these all you can do at home as you are a school student so . & if your parents are supportive join gym , swimming . So ya hope you reach your dream body & be confident in yourself & believe that you will achieve all that you want & ya i am cheering for you 😊 so now no excuses & good luck 👍✨

Are you counting calories? I also was overweight, and what worked for me was counting calories and eating 1600 cal per day. It gets easier the longer it goes, keep it up!

eat better food choices and you wont feel hungry all the time. Also if you havent lost any weight in a month its because you are not actually eating less. You need to track your calories or you are just half assing it and dont truly want a change.

been dropping steadily, i don't think dropping massive amount of weight per month is gonna be sustainable for alot of people the key is to drop the weight in steady and not to the point of torture unless u r the legend David Goggins

I also lose 10kg in a month cuz when you finally going active in the beginning you're using a lot of energy which guide to fast fat burning. after your stamina went up you'll burned less which can discourage most people. but that's because you don't need to use that high energy anymore and to burn more it to do more intense workout

I think the hardest thing after trying to lose weight is gaining it all back and trying from the start again. I went from 99 to 76 kg. I got it in my head though that even when I lost all that weight I still wasn't pretty or had the body I expected. got discouraged and let myself go for 2 years. Now I'm starting again from 110kg

Yesterday I checked my weight and it was 88kg, I felt so ashamed of myself. Today I couldn't swallow anything, I wanted to eat cake so badly but I couldn't. I really hate how I look rn. Today after 1 month of rotting in bed I started working out. Honestly I'm so ashamed that I can't even go to gym or for a walk, it feels like a pig walking on a road lmao

I've never seen a youtube video with more likes then subscribers. Normally if the video is good, likes is at about 4-8% and 1-2% if its shit. 2.7k likes vs 1.4k subscribers is crazy.

I was 98kg and in the US they don't talk about kg a lot so I assumed I was 98lbs but when reality hit was like "Damn.. Im gonna die soon if this doesn't change" I was 15 and I did a diet and dropped a lot of weight I'm 138lbs now.. (62kg) my goal is 120lbs (54kg) or 115lbs (52kg) since I'm a 5'2 girl. I literally just do cardio and eat less I mean I used to eat a whole family sized box of cereal alone Lol!! Anyway I was eating around 3 ~ 4k calories which is more than the average woman, I'm eating 1500 ~ 1200 now since that's what I'm happy with.

Wow, you can do it! I’m also trying to lose weight, I currently weigh 54kg and my height is 5’5 and my goal is 47kg at least, I normally eat 1200 calories which now I am trying to eat less than 1000 calories, my meal plan for the day is 700 calories and I am burning 1000 calories daily, approximately I will be losing 1kg weekly, I hope I can continue and work really hard throughout my goal!!! 🫶🏻 I Recomend you to try to focus on reducing body fat percentage, make a calorie deficit of 7700 calories weekly according to whats your TDEE, with this method you will lose a kilo weekly! ❤
