Hey everyone! I have compiled the two part Fan-Fic of What if Obi-Wan Kenobi DIDN'T Leave Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar into one long 'movie' for your enjoyment, uninterrupted.
This video follows the events in an alternate Star Wars universe where Anakin Skywalker isn't left to die on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith, later to be taken by Palpatine. Rather, he is taken by Obi-Wan with Padme to safety where he can be healed and hopefully turned. Obi-Wan goes meets up with Jedi Master Yoda and the two find themselves before Emperor Palpatine and his Clone Troopers.
Only they stand in Darth Sidious' way to rule the Galaxy with his hand of evil...will they prevail? Or will they fail....?
Will Luke Skywalker be born?
Does Snoke come into the picture at some point?
So many different outcomes could take place...

By the way, Windu COULD handle Palpatine's lightning. Windu in a 1v1 fight actually kind of wrecked Palpatine. The only reason he lost because of Anakin stepping in. Thus being said, Yoda should also be able to take Palpatine in a 1v1 just as Windu did.

You clearly have no comprehension of forgiveness or how redemption works. As Yoda should have had a better idea of the nature of the Dark Side, since he was always going on about it. How it possessed people, and caused them to do things entirely against their nature and conscience. How it made people commit unspeakable acts to destroy them. and own them entirely. He would at least have understood how Anakin had always been repentant and remorseful for what he did, and was being made to suffer for it. And honestly, Yoda caused the deaths of a LOT of Jedi and Padawans himself though his own incompetence as a military commander, strategist ,and just having no backbone to stand up against he Republic. He actually admitted that later on.

Tbh, I hated all the deaths, but also understood that the destruction of the Jedi Order was necessary. They were too involved in the politics of Coruscant and needed to restructure. Luke’s New Jedi Order was pretty awesome in that sense. You know, before Disney’s corporate greed to make a new movie destroyed the legacy of 6 awesome films.

I want to see an animated version of this Fr. All you animators out there should make this a thing. I love this alternate storyline and think it would put more respect on Obi Wan’s name, as I think he deserves. He was super loyal, something that’s hard to come by in the Star Wars universe, and mentally he was just all there. He thought quick and made good decisions most of the time. I personally don’t think he would have left anakin like that. He would have either took him with him to save him or he would have killed him, just to put him out of his misery. I really don’t think obi would have just left him, especially after everything they had been through together. I mean come on would you guys leave your brother or sister you literally grew up with there to die? Pretty sure most would say no.

He was determined Anakin was gone and he can't save him but when he saw him catching on fire he couldn't bare leaving him to such horrible death and started rolling him around to stop the flames. But untill the flames were gone it was too late, he already got severe burn wounds because of the extremely high temp of lava...

Seeing as Leia is basically Anakin (headstrong, stubborn, fiery temper, eternal grudges) thrust into Padmé’s politician role and Luke is Padmé’s brand of cinnamon roll roaming in some backwater planet like his dad, I’d wager Luke would be a hardcore advocate for pacifism, unknowingly paint a huge target on his back at the senate, and Leia would be more than willing to fall to the Dark Side just to kill Palpatine and avenge her father. As for the “I am your father” reveal... Well. Let’s just say I can fully picture Leia going full-blown Sith over that betrayal, and adding Vader to her to-kill list.

You do a great job of telling these stories, and out of the attempts at fan fiction/alternative endings so far, this is probably the best I've seen, I feel this could potentially be a really mature and more profound take on the force if it were explored more, that "grey area" and rejection of the dualist battle of good versus evil narrative that only drives people to extremes, one effectively being naive and weak and the other being cruel and psychopathic. Perhaps this is what Kreia from KOTOR II would drive at if she hadn't become so hopelessly cynical about the force.

I assume it is because that, before the prequels were made, the prequel were still hinted at. this meant there was tons of events for people to write stories about. even when the prequels came, a community of people who wrote star wars stories had already developed, paving the way for the more in-depth stuff to come.

I was always a bit confused by Obi-Wan's choice to leave him on Mustafar to die after critically injuring him. I've always seen it as an act of cruelty to just leave him suffering at the edge of the lava bank. I would think the merciful thing for Obi-Wan to do would be to simply put Anakin out of his misery, if he wasn't going to take him back and try to rehabilitate him. I don't really understand his reasoning for doing what he did. Suppose Obi-Wan tried to save Anakin after injuring him. If Padme knew Anakin was alive, she also may not have died and that may have been enough to pull Anakin back from the dark side's influence. In doing so, Obi-Wan may have saved the galaxy a lot of suffering as well, though Sidious would likely have found another apprentice anyway.

From what I understand it was because despite everything part of Obi-Wan still saw him as Anakin and Anakin still reminded him of his former master, so he was unable to deal the killing blow.
