RU-vid throws this in my feed and I decided to click, expecting some AI rubish, but because I love Vangelis and the Terminator theme I click… I have only one fundamental complaint: this is too short! Thanks for this highlight of my day!
Vangelis will smile with this version that is inspired by his style. Vangelis never attended a conservatory and created music that was inside him. A truly amazing artist, a pioneer of the ambient sound. Even the great Jan Michele Jarre has Vangeli's album in his private collection
I thoroughly enjoy your content, thank you! I also have an amateur question if I may, do you play everything by ear? Is this how ypu reproduce the melodies? Or do you look up the musical notes and study them beforehand?
Actually it’s a combination of 3 things: I don’t study notes (it’s too long ago that I could read notes) - it’s a combination of of playing by ear - checking out RU-vid tutorials and looking up chord charts. Depending on the complexity.
@josesvintagekeys the chorus patch is all over his music from 1990 onwards; 1492, The City and El Greco are standouts. Use a volume footpedal to bring it in and out of the mix with plenty of reverb.
Wow❤ that has magic, you captured the feeling. I wish you could make the piano intro as a full 2'30 song like " missing" but with this Terminator theme... That sounds so nostalgic. Is that the CP70?
@@josesvintagekeys I guess we have a premiere on our hands :) Or actually your hands since you're more of an expert on the "Vangelis" 330's sonic proprieties. I'll try and retrieve the 350 before monday.
