that sounds like the OK Corral gunfight in Tombstone. The Earps and Doc Holiday went there to arrest the Cowboys, but killed them all in "self defense". That's why they were acquitted. You don't go arresting people with lighsabers, unless its the sith lord.

Well once anakin told mace that palps was the sith lord, mace and the other jedi started searching for the answer themselves. So once they got to palps office to arrest him they began sensing a new palpatine because they actually focused on it. Thats why they took out their sabers , not because they wanted to threaten him, but because they sensed the threat coming from palpatine

It was, indeed, a system they couldn't afford to lose, I don't remember it very well, but wasn't the whole reason for the invasion so the Sepratists could get more oil or something, at least in the Battlefront 2 game, you had to defend the oil refinery on Kashyyyk.

Diverse casting is good and helps more people feel connected to the franchise. And sure, Rey is a Mary Sue, but how is she any different from like 90% of male action protagonists? A majority of them are stuey as fuck, only difference is Rey is a woman. Honestly if it pisses you off that much, just... don't watch it? SWT There is something I don't understand. Palpatine tries to say that being a sith is not a crime. They however were outlawed four thousand years ago during the Jedi Civil War with Revan. Did someone in the Bane line have that law repealed or did someone else. If not then all someone would have to do was point out that the Sith are outlawed so being a Sith lord is a crime. Let me know.

Might've been a reference to the original script where Palpatine used Anakin's lightsaber against Mace. If you look closely at a few shots in RotS, you can see he's holding Anakin's saber, not his own.

That would be great! Ahsoka leaving ended up being a large part of his descent into darkness. If she handn't left, maybe she would have found him in the council chambers and they could have talked. He wouldn't have intervened with Palpatine. Or maybe they would have gone and intervened together, but Ahsoka would have talked him out of attacking Mace Windu, adding in the fact that she too had felt betrayed by the Order. Or maybe they would have turned evil together... After he kills Padme, the Mustafar fight ensues. It would all be the same till the end. Then, when he's about to jump at Obi-Wan's highground, Ahsoka ends up killing him

Although I love this fan fiction. I believe Palpatine wouldn’t have just revealed himself to Anakin with Yoda still being there. I’d say he would’ve brought it up in hopes on Yoda leaving.

separatist forces are decimating the wookies and this way maybe chewbacca dies and theres no chewbacca in the later episodes. when you realize the droid attack on the wookies was actually important for that reason

I couldn’t agree more with what you said about mace vs today’s testing methods. Yoda was all about making you face your biggest fears and temptations instead of avoiding them such as when he made luke enter the dark side cave and insisting on obi wan fighting anakin in spite of or maybe because of their strong bond. No doubt he would have wanted to see how anakin behaved in the Confrontation between the Jedi and palpatine rather than just tell him stay out of the way Like mace did.
