Awesome video lee!! love all your helpful videos. Can you make a video about choosing the right types of meats like organic and grassfed meats and the differences between conventional and grassfed. i think this would be a good topic because alot of people dont know about this
Lee, you should make a second part to this video showing how meats are labeled. I do the same calculations on a meat that is supposed to be 7 percent fat and it is way higher as far a calories from fat it concerned.
What's your opinion on the net effect of cholesterol lowering margarine? Some studies show a 10% reduction in cholesterol absorption after consuming such products. I have high cholesterol due to years of trying to bulk up.
First of all, I love your EFA Lean. When I cook, I use olive oil and coconut oil...once in awhile, I'll use avocado oil. I stay away from anything that has any other oil and even corn syrup sometimes found in some salad dressings. Also, I will not use anything that has soy oil or proteins in them. I do love pork, but I only eat that once in awhile. I remember you mentioning nut butters and saying that Almond or Cashew butter is better than Peanut butter...all natural of course, without the added oils and sugars. Unfortunately, since my job has me "on the road" for lunch, I do grab fried chicken "tenders" once or twice per week...the other times, I'll stop at Subway and grab a sandwich - I only get the steak & cheese, no mayo or anything like that, spicy mustard, onions, jalapenos, bell pepper, and either lettuce or spinach...on their whole grain bread. I always carry a small ice chest with 4-16 oz bottles of water to drink. I drink water and black coffee.
can we have fats in carbs together in a meal along with proteins ?? or does having carb & fat together in a meal encourages fat storage. should we have them separately together with proteins??
