I think it should be more fucking realistic .-. NOTHING. Is more irritating than putting three or four rounds into your enemies head/chest areas and they don't flinch as they somehow MIRACULOUSLY kill you with two or three rounds.
What I'd like for them to change is being able to walk through your teammates, it's so annoying when you both get to a door but you end up bumping shoulders and have to wait for someone to move over. Maps could be a lot better, they don't need to all be CQ, and GET RID OF ALL THE HEADGLITCHING SPOTS, better hit detection, more points of a teammate confirms your tag in KC (25 is bs), and I know it isn't going to happen but if they took sniper rifles, ghost, and uav's out of the game i'd be happy
I think the Ghost perk should go back to the way it was in MW2, Or at least have a 5-10 second delay until it turns off and you are visible on a UAV. The way it is in BO2, Stopping to kill someone, even with a silencer is often long enough to reveal your location on a UAV even if you're running the ghost perk. Also, Night maps with night vision.
While quite a lot of us started off with their first album, I would recommend This Is Exile for newcomers. Their self-titled fourth album is also a fun listen. Give them a try :)
They need a game type like tug-I-war basically. It needs to be like war in world at war but at the active point there should be a "frontline" cutting the map in half that you cannot cross. I.e. no spawn killing. And it would create a more realistic battle scenario battling for a checkpoint with a frontline. They also definitely need to up the points per kill. And they need to make more game types available to hardcore players. More guns for sure. I've finished them all.
phil you have said everything ive had on my mind about this pos game. they truly need to make the game more interactive with environment and just go all out on the game. they need to do the dual disc set up where if people want to play campaign they can have a disc for that and itd give the creators more room to add more content. also the multiplayer people would have more to work with as well on the 2 disc system,
Call of Duty should go more into strategy, like the Command and Conquer series, or XCOM. Either put it into the yearly releases, or have a branch-off series of strategy games on their own. That would be something entirely different.
This franchise is why I moved to Battlefield, fully destructable. yeah they have huge maps and vehicals which is awesome but you don't spray and pray. you actually have to aim and account for bullet drop over long distances
They always need to make head shots instant kills and they need to make it more team related; make the game so every person isn't running alone, actually make it for being a team (hence TEAM death match). If being a lone wolf is your thing, then play FFA, but please, more team action because I play in parties of 3-4 and just walking hunched in a group doesn't cut it, you should be able to toss mags of the same caliber, toss guns, have a cover system.
Hey Phil I highly recommend you pick up battlefield 4 when it comes out. A lot of what your talking about is in that game or very similar, I think you'd enjoy it.
Call Of Duty is and always has been fun for me but I have to take breaks from it pretty regularly do to the shear repetitious nature of the gameplay. I agree that something new and innovative needs to be added to the gameplay, something that does't completely change the whole gameplay style but is still big enough to make it feel fresh and new again.
Dedicated servers fixes everything and Give guns some recoil take out target finders and give sniper sway and boom a better cod even and everyone is happy.
You can argue whatever about COD but honestly, it's really solid. Call of Duty has a few more years until another giant franchise takes over the first person shooter genre. Look at Halo, used to be the biggest game around, now it's following has been reduced to maybe 20% of what it was 5 years ago.
I agree with every single word you said. CoD needs something lasting in the Ghosts or, in my opinion, it will be the end of CoD. They have had the exact same gameplay mechanics since mw2 and after 4 games it has really gotten dull. I would give Battlefield a try. I would love your opinion on it. I'm not lobbying for either game. I don't even own a system anymore. Just something you might want to check out.
Bring in bullet drop, enhance the size of the maps; or at least change the range and recoil of the guns. On COD, you can literally make your gun sit still. On Battlefield, it recoils no matter what. I'm not going to lie, I was a diehard COD fan until I got BF3. The overall gameplay is so much better. I feel like COD has had a really good run, but they've just run out of steam and it's time to let someone else come in and have the reigns.
What needs to change? Lag comp, quickscoping fucking nerfed again, killstreak rewards removed COMPLETELY, destructible environments added, damage decreased, hitscans replaced with tangible bullets with drop, bigger maps, MAKE THE FUCKING GAME COMPLETELY EQUAL ON ALL PLATFORMS, reload while running, and, oh yeah... NO MORE FUCKING 11 YEAR OLDS!!!!!!
no thanks... Black ops 2 was my last straw, i gave cod 1 last chance and felt like a kid and a candy store when i pre ordered it, but in the end its the same wall with new paint
