I love how calm your voice is in your videos. Its almost like ASMR, very relaxing. I watch the videos for the food but I stay for the personality :)

@Ly yamamoto - Hi Ly! Thank you so much for stopping by our channel and especially for taking the time to watch and to leave us a comment! We are so glad you are here, and we are so happy that you have been enjoying the content on our channel. 💜 I have worked for a while now on the voiceovers for our weekly dinner videos (after receiving some really not-nice comments about how awful my voice is and that I should not be on RU-vid). I'm so glad you find it soothing or relaxing, and we hope you enjoy that aspect as well as the food, or our relationship. Whatever it is, we are glad you are here, and definitely hope to hear more from you in the future. Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

@@LetsCookYall Please dont listen to people. I never comment but have watched forever and had to reply to this! I always watch for your yummy food and have recreated many of your recipes, but your voice is what draws me in. I watch most videos on silent with captions on and I ALWAYS turn the volume on for your videos. Some people put other people down in attempt to make themselves feel better. You stay true to you and keep being your wonderful self! Your content is amazing and your and Tim personality is the best!

@@LetsCookYall I had to come back to comment again. Tim's little sneak in the bread was hilarious! He just couldnt wait! So something I would do! Everything looked delicious this week, as usual! I think I may have to try to make that ramen! As well as the lomain. Cant decide which I wanna attempt first. Thanks so much for the inspiration and the work you put in every week to share with us! See ya next week!! Stay healthy and happy!!

@jenn jenn - Hi Jenn! Aww, your comments are just amazing, thank you so much! I'm so glad you decided to finally comment, and it makes it even more special that you came riding in, to my defense, with your kind words and encouragement! Thank you 💖💙💜 I totally understand the nature of social media and I do try to not let it bother me, but I am still human, and sometimes, on a bad day or just when we receive several really unkind comments in a row, it does get under my skin. I'm working on it though!! Actually, I used the comments about my voice begin horrible and worse than nails on a chalkboard, and "you shouldn't be on RU-vid", and turned it into a positive - I work on my "voiceover voice" now, and am totally aiming for soothing, calm, peaceful, whatever you want to term it. Everyone has enough stress in their lives right now, and I hope to help in some small insignificant minute way :) If you choose to spend your valuable time here watching our videos, then I do strive to make them as entertaining, enjoyable, informative and helpful as possible. Thanks again for your amazing support, and please don't be a stranger - now that you've commented - we definitely look forward to hearing from you more in the future!! Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

@jenn jenn - Hooray, TWO comments in one day, #winning!!! Tim is not only a sneaky little rascal, but he is hands down the funniest and wittiest person I have ever met! Ooh, I hope you do get a chance to try Tim's creation of "rumien" or the easy veggie lo mein. Both are so easy and so comforting this time of year when it's cold outside and you just want carbs and something comforting and soothing!! Let me know if you get a chance to try one of them, and I really hope they work for you!! Hugs!! ---Stacy 😍💚

Stacey, big tip, boil ramen noodles 1 minute then drain add to new broth mix and finish cooking. At the last minute of cooking add, eggs to poach, don't stir the eggs, add cilantro, sesame oil, finely sliced green onion, add as much or as little sriracha sauce, and any type of thinly sliced meat you prefer. "My husband and I love to add bean sprouts as well as chopped water chestnut for texture and added deliciousness." We are Ramen fanatic's! I'm so excited you put your recipe for Ramen up because the variety is endless.... Thank you so much for all your dinner ideas!!!!!!

It was a horrible mess, all over me, my clothes (my favorite pair of sweats are now stained with oil and a mess), the countertops, cabinets, stovetop, floors and everywhere. I'm still finding little slivers of glass, and I've still got one small shard lodged in my finger we haven't been able to dig out or get out with tweezers. I feel like such a total klutz! LOL!! Love your creative, quick meals with pantry and fridge ingredients! The great tips for using the air fryer, instant pot and crock pot are really helpful, too. I may get an instant pot. Thank you for also showing your plates. I have such a hard time with portion control and the constant visual reminder of what a normal plate looks like is such a blessing. I love watching you (and Tim too-woohoo!)

@Kip Streiner - Hi Kip!!! Thank you so much for stopping by our channel and especially for taking the time to watch and to leave us a comment! We are so glad you are here, and hope that you will enjoy the content on our channel. 💜 So glad that you are liking the pantry meals and especially the air fryer info. We do have all of the appliances you mention, and use them all, but I'm still loving my air fryer more than the others these days, LOL! It just works better for us, especially during the hotter months of the year. Turning on a small convection air fryer over my "big oven" which heats up my kitchen just works much better for us. Ooh, and I'm so glad you enjoy the plate pictures too (we get a LOT of comments to please just show cooking and leave off the wrap-up and plates) - it's a great way to help ME be more accountable for my portions too. Tim has an enormous amount of discipline, but I do not. I just use his plate as a guideline, since I know I cannot eat as much as he does. I always feel like... after I've been in there cooking and then I clean up, I need that "reward" of indulging in what I spent time preparing, haha! So glad you are here, and we look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

It's such a great way to clean out things left in your produce drawer, and in my case, use up the rest of that bottle of Soyaki, or any kind of teriyaki sauce or marinade or even stir fry sauce. So versatile! I hope you get a chance to try the cranberry bread too, it's delicious! We love to heat it up and put on a nice pat of butter, makes it so good!! Great job on using stuff from your pantry and freezer! I always salt my water for pasta, but hadn’t heard about waiting until the water boils first. I’ll have to remember that. We love those mandu. That company makes a chicken mandu that’s amazing! If you ever see it, grab it! You’re such a good sport! I’d be so annoyed at Howard if he cut my beautiful loaf before it was cool, lol! @Foodamentary: Adventures in Food - Hey Andrea!! Thank you so much for stopping by and watching! I had really high hopes for those mandu (we found them at our Sam's Club!), and we were not disappointed. I just hope they keep them in stock for a while. I've had a streak of bad luck lately, finding things we love at Sam's Club, only to have them no longer stock them (I can no longer find the frozen edamame I love, nor the Athenos brand gyro meat, boo). LOL, Tim is such a sneaky rascal, and so funny, it's hard to get mad or stay mad at him! I wish I had a way to include a picture of a lovely loaf of homemade bread I made a few years ago, where he took a huge bite out of it, when I left it "unguarded", LOL! Give Harrison a big blubbery kiss for me!!! Hugs ---Stacy 😍💚

I love the tomato soup with lentils and chickpeas, and I always feel like I'm eating some fairly healthy when I make that one (I got so distracted with the shattering of my very full olive oil bottle that it cooked a wee bit too long and needed more broth, which is easy to fix for an experienced cook like yourself). The veggie lo mein is a great way to use any small amounts of whatever veggies you have left on hand in your produce drawer, and it makes a lot with the noodles and any bottled or homemade quick sauce. I'm so sorry that both of your McAlisters closed. Ours is not convenient to us in our new house (it was very near our old house and we went more often), so it's very rare that we go there. We also have Newk's here, do y'all have those? Oooh, you are so lucky, you have a Trader Joe's in Red Stick, LOL! Lucky lady! That one is a good road trip for us, but maybe one day!!! @LetsCookYall 3 года назад
@Adrianne Marie - Hey there! Thank you so much for stopping by this week and watching! I had pinned something at Pinterest about the KFC bowls. We rarely eat at KFC and we have never seen nor tried the bowls, but apparently you layer all of those components, and put some cheese on top and melt and that's a bowl option of theirs on the menu. Tim was not thrilled about it at all, so we just went with the good ole plate method, LOL! I think you are right - each bag of chicken and each run of chicken must be different. Our first huge bag from Sam's was great, and this first dip into the second bag was noticeably different. We'll still eat them, but I will be wary from now on about buying them. Such a shame. I love having things like that on hand for quick meals. Come to think of it, now that you say that, I think I've experienced the same thing with buying the Tyson ones in the past. Oh well. I have made homemade chicken fingers a lot, but these are just so easy on those nights when I just do.not.want.to.cook! Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

As for the voice, it might sound weird on paper or to read, but to me, that is just the nicest thing ever. I continue to try to work on our editing and visual parts as well, but know that I have a lot left to learn about RU-vid and video and audio editing. It's fun, but a fair amount of work. @Simone Delizia - Hi Simone! Thank you so much for stopping back by and watching this week's video! We hope you are enjoying the content 💖💚 Tim's "rumien" as he calls it is really just beefed up ramen noodles. It differs just a little bit from traditional egg drop soup in that we don't beat the eggs and add them in one direction, swirling, like you would in an egg drop soup. He plops the whole raw egg in the soup and lets it cook, untouched, a while before breaking it up with a big spoon, then it has nice big chunks of both cooked white and cooked yolk in the soup. The sliced cheese just adds a lot of body and creaminess to his concoction, LOL! It's really pretty unhealthy and total carb-loading, and we both LOVE it! We devoured that entire pan in one quick sitting, LOL! If you do try it, we'd love to know what you think! I don't think I've heard of the KFC bowls. But Don does not understand the concept of bowl meals! I did however buy 2 slightly wider bowls to do different "meals" in and you know how he is, he may not get it but he doesn't turn down food. Look at you so fancy and professional with the lo mein and mini Chinese buffet! I need to arrange to be there when you cook chinese food.....Don doesn't like it as much as me so I rarely fix it. I'm so sorry your oil bottle broke, but since that can be replaced I'm glad it was that and not the west bend lid! You know I've had bad experience with the lid, WHAT are we going to do now that they don't make them any more! I'm happy to see how to make the rumien, you have told me about it for so long and I always wanted to try it so seeing it "in action" helps. Don would want meat though! Also as you know, I made cranberry bread the other day and we're enjoying it! Good food week!

Or anything else you ask or request, just let me know :) Please do NOT jinx me about my original glass lid for my West Bend. I live in abject fear that I'm going to drop it, and if you look closely on the video, you'll see how slow and careful I was when I removed the lid. I have been having such a run of bad luck lately, and I'm so scared the WB is going to be the next casualty! YUM, on your cranberry bread! Oh, and I'll get Tim to make you rumien too, if you don't get to it, LOL!! Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

Thank you for another week of meal ideas, Stacy. I'm so sorry about your accident...wow! I love that veggie lomein, and am not ashamed to admit I also love oodles of noodles. Have eaten them hundreds of times with no ill effects. LOL Will you forgive me if I confess I can't seem to get into lentils? (Although my son keeps trying. He's given me about three pounds worth, and they're all sitting, being ignored, in my pantry.) Yeah on pantry meals, btw...you're doing great! I read one of the comments that someone criticized your voice?!? You have a lovely, soft, calming voice, with just a slight southern accent (Tim's is more pronounced.) It's one of the things that makes your videos such a pleasure to watch. Just keep on being you. There's a reason you're headed to 10K subscribers, my friend. hugs...stef

@lemoncrinckles - Hey there Stef! Thank you so much for swinging by and watching, my sweet friend! How are you doing and feeling these days? I hope you are well and feeling stronger and better, and taking good care of yourself. I'm still upset about shattering my newly filled olive oil bottle into a million pieces, and the mess it made (I still have one tiny shard of glass stuck in my finger, ugh). I love noodles too and we are definitely on a carb-loading, pasta and potato and bread kick lately. I blame this time of year, we both just crave carbs and comfort food :) No worries on the lentils. I didn't even attempt to eat them until a couple of years ago, but I have found that I really like them (but Tim predictable, does not!). You are so sweet about my voice and the voice-overs. We did receive a fair amount of very unkind comments, but the bright side is that I decided I would work on my "voiceover voice" and now I try really hard for it to be soft, soothing, relaxing and hopefully relay a lot of content, tips and information too, in our videos. You are so sweet! Take care and be well, my dear friend! Hugs ---Stacy 😍💚

@Jess & The Boys - Hey Jess! Thanks so much for stopping by and watching this one, you are so sweet! Girl, I am so glad you agree on the ramen! For us, it's pure nostalgia and sentimentality! It reminds me of my single days, when I could barely boil water and existed on things like tuna, pasta, ramen and frozen entrees! For Tim, it reminds him of his military and bachelor days. For both of us, I think it's because it's just a splurge and pure comfort food, when we fix it this way and totally carb load with all the added ingredients. That cranberry bread looks so good. I just need to figure out what to sub for the orange juice because I really don’t want to go to the store for one thing. I have some Cuties, but I am not sure their juice would do the trick. Maybe if I added some zest it would add to the flavor.

@jean massey - Hey Jean! Thank you so much for swinging back by and watching this video! I have honestly never made the cranberry bread without the OJ (I drink a small glass every morning, so that is a staple in my house, I am never without it). I would definitely try some kind of citrus juice, because that's an acid and it is probably fairly important in the science of the baking. I wish I had a good suggestion for you, but I've just never tried it without the juice. If you could get enough juice out of the cuties, that would probably be a good sub, but goodness, that's a lot of work, LOL! Let me know what you try and how it comes out! Or maybe just pickup some OJ on your next grocery trip or pickup and make it then? Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

@Haley Robinson - Hi Haley! Thank you so much for stopping by our channel and especially for taking the time to watch and to leave us a comment! We are so glad you are here, and hope that you will enjoy the content on our channel. 💜 I sometimes use sour cream, it depends on the slaw, LOL! We both like a lot of variety in our food, and I make about 4 kinds of cole slaw: a regular mayo-based one, a "baja" one which uses sour cream, a simple oil & vinegar slaw and then the family favorite "crunchy asian slaw" that is always requested at our get-togethers. We've featured all of these in various videos and two of them have their own video, they are so popular :) We just made the Baja slaw in December, it's a favorite to go with fish tacos. So good! What is your favorite kind of cole slaw and what do you usually have with it? Thanks again for stopping by and the great feedback; we look forward to hearing more from you in the future. @@yelvh - they are all really easy, and each have a little bit of a unique taste. We love us some cole slaw down south, LOL! The Baja slaw is in a video here, along with fish tacos and other side suggestions (please be kind, this is an older video and I cringe when I go back and watch these, I hope I'm improving in both audio and video features, and getting better for our great group of subscribers!!) -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sPjWAePhmQM.html. I love the idea of a dash of onion powder, I will have to remember to try that! Like you, we tend to have cole slaw with things like BBQ, burgers or hot dogs or things like that. I do almost always fix the baja one with fish tacos, for whatever reason. Oh, and I did a quick country apple slaw recently too, that Tim is not fond of, but I split it in half and made a regular one for him, and then added diced apples and craisins to mine, and it was so SO good! @LetsCookYall 3 года назад
@Barbara Byram - Hey Barbara! Thank YOU so much for stopping by this week and watching! I am so glad that you are getting some ideas for things to cook at your house. I tend to use my West Bend slow cooker on either the 3 or 4 setting, or somewhere in between. Rarely do I crank it all the way up to the number 5 setting, but sometimes I do if I'm rushed for time. I think I put the dial on around 3.5 for the soup, and the lentils cook pretty quick and then of course, the canned chick peas and canned tomatoes don't need cooking, just heating through. I got busy cleaning up the horrific mess I made when I dropped my olive oil bottle and it shattered on half my kitchen and me (and I still have a piece of glass in my finger, boo), and the soup cooked a little long. I meant to go back and add a bit of broth to "loosen" it up, but I was so discombobulated about the oil disaster, I never did. I do prefer it to be not quite so thick, but that's easy to fix. I hope you get a chance to try it at some point, please let me know if you do!! Take care, and have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚
