What's in the Woods? We chop trees to uncover rusty junkyard gold! Cars & trucks hidden for decades!

Mr. Goodpliers and friends return to Bud's Salvage in Aline Oklahoma to chop trees and uncover rusty gold! These collector cars have been hidden in the woods for decades. Follow along as we assemble a video yearbook of the "Class of '59"!
There is a Google listing for this business. They are open Monday through Friday.
The vehicles in this portion of the yard are being sold as complete units, not in individual parts.
There are a couple thousand vehicles available for parts. The yard does not ship parts so be respectful of that and make arrangements to pick them up in person.

Lots of cool stuff in that old yard. I see comic irony in the lumberjack with ax statue on the skyline watching over a yard full of cars that are being swallowed by trees.

That 59 Ford and 60 Buick looked good enough to restore. Even though they are 4 doors, you just can't afford a 2 door any more. And when you're in the front seat and driving, you just don't notice those extra two doors behind you!!

I really like that 59 Chevy and the 59 Olds. My Dad had a 59 Chevy when we were kids and it brings back a lot of great memories in that old car. We took a summer trip to Maine when I was just a little boy and we traveled all the way from Missouri so it was our first long road trip that I remember. Thanks for taking us along on this video series. I wish I could see some of these neat old cars. A lot of them deserve to be pulled out and brought back to life. I hope some people seeing these videos will do that. I can't wait to see what you take home and what you do with them.

Back in that era my dad bought a new car every year. If the dealer mad him made he would refuse to trade the old one in. He would drive back home with our old car while mom followed in the new one. He then would sell the old one to family, friends, or neighbors for $50, $100 or a little more ( still running good and looking nice by our standards today ).

That trimmer with the circular blade is called a brush cutter. They make very short work of nuisance undergrowth and save the chainsaws. The only real drawback is that they go through blades fairly quickly so you have to keep spares handy. When they start bouncing like seen here the blade is getting fairly worn down.

Always thought those Ramblers were kinda cool and unappreciated. I ran across one of those 1960 Buick flat tops a couple years back in pretty restorable condition. (Owner would not sell) The 2 door Buick needs to be saved for sure. When is the last time anyone saw one? I like for Ford 2dr wgn! Too bad about the t-bone side. Can’t wait to see what you take home!

I have a toro string trimmer, uses attachments like that. I just picked up a pole saw attachment, with the extra extensions, goes to like 15ft, 8 inch chainsaw bar on it. Great for cutting small limbs or fighting off zombies.

Morning Tim, all I can say is WOW!! the yards like this are long gone in Michigan, their is a few, but you have to get off of the beatin path, plus the one's that were around the owners passed & the family scrapped everything to get as much $$$$ as possible, it amazes me how the sun has baked the paint off of those cars, or have they been "wind blasted"? Seeing the 59-60 Chevrolet reminded me of my Wife's Grandparents place in Tennessee, there was a complete 59-60 Chevrolet parked in the driveway, the house fell down, some of the barn is still there, the Chevrolet, well people more or less stripped it. The family procrastinated about dragging it home, but by the time a decision was made, it wasn't worth dragging home. Be safe, God Bless!!

As long you don't speed in the 59 or 60 Chevy Impalas but go over 65 and the wings catch the wind and the backends come off the ground, nothing like doing 70 or more and going airborne to realize why you don't see many.

Some rare vehicles in there, you didn’t show it but I saw a hearse or ambulance a few up from that rare ‘52 or so Ford sedan delivery, incredible that the ‘59 Ranch wagon wasn’t crushed immediately with that sort of damage. It would almost be worth restoring purely for its rarity value. I rather liked that six-window 1962 Cadillac.

Looks like a pretty dry climate in Aline Oklahoma??? A lot better than some of those wet climate places, where they pull cars out of the junkyard. I don't see how that makes so much sense, and they got a lot of rust. But this Oklahoma location is not as dry as the ones in arizona, Arizona is something else it's like the cars are pristine
