Yes, we have two young children together. Our son that’s 7 and our daughter that’s 4. A breakup changes things so it's best to change that kind of mindset. It's rather best for you to accept that it was fun while it lasted but now it's over. And moving forward, try to see if you can rebuild a new dynamic with him to re-attract him back.

It's still the best option. I wish I saw this last year because I didn’t everything that I shouldn’t have done after a break; beg, apologise, pester and needy behaviour. Having said that, she was playing me all along and was flirting with different guys. She did respond back to me last November and told me to pay £225 for her beauty treatment and she would allow me to take her out. @@BradBrowning I was hungry, motivated and determined to put things right because I ended whatever we had on the 7th April and regretted it. I ended it via text/phone call. Since that day, I just wanted to have a face to face chat for either a closure or a comeback. Unfortunately she never agreed and blocked me. Regarding £225, I didn’t care about the money but I saw this as a test to see if she really valued me as a person or just played me from the beginning. November 28th taught me never to beg for another chance, let things work out naturally. Personally, I feel she checked out emotionally after our weekend away and that’s fine, but refuse to let me when I was telling her to dump me. Why was she holding on to me? That’s all I wanted to ask. I’ve completely left her alone since 28th November and realised I was manipulated for the money and she was a narcissist. She blamed me for self sabotaging, manipulating and narcissistic but it was actually her. She said I gave her the £225 as a gift but that’s a lie. She told me to pay her that money if I wanted to take her out on a date. End of the day, it was my fault for being a weak, immature middle aged guy and got badly exposed. Average time is 30 days but can go anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks in usual cases. If there's been some endless begging and/or refusing to cut off contact on your end, however, I usually suggest to give it more time, around 2 months or even more. Cheating instances are different if you've cheated, could be longer or shorter depending on how your ex reacts.
