Lol, I thought the same thing. I spent many nights befriending bouncers, bartenders, managers, owners, DJ's etc. Eventually I got to where I could enter my regular venues and not only know half the people working, but would see at least a few regulars that I'd met along the way. I'd walk in, feeling like I owned the damn place, saying hi to people left and right like a damn celebrity. A few times I even got invited to the VIP area with bottle service. You know what happened? Girls were just as disinterested as they were before, if not even more so. Same thing happened when I got in shape. I thought, if I get jacked with 6 pack abs, girls will be all over me. Well I've been in jacked, 6 pack abs shape for almost 3 years now and girls have never been more DISinterested in me.

If you "know" a bunch of people but don't have actual friendships with them really then it doesn't necessarily mean much. Getting to know people is quite important but it's kinda only the first step. I learned a long time ago that having lots of casual friends and acquaintances pales in comparison to having just a few real, true friends. But we're talking about attracting women. And aside from being in shape and wealthy, social proof is one of the best ways to attract women. If they see that everyone knows and likes you, then you must be desirable, therefore, they want you. My point was that even after getting into shape and developing tons of social proof, I still failed to attract girls, even when I was in the VIP section with obvious in's with the manager, bouncers etc.

My take: Even if she hates you, she has strong feelings towards you. You occupy a large amount of her focus/thoughts/intensity. To do that you must have the power to make her hate you, which means you are not a bland/boring/agreeable person - you've already got some attractive qualities (perhaps assertiveness, confidence etc.)
