Not a vegan, but I often cook for friends with diverse dietary requirements. Your vegan banana & chocolate ice 'cream' is simple and inspired! Lots of room for modification too; awesome stuff! 👌
@@ElGnomistico tofu blended with cocoa powder and sweetner, chill for a few hours..perfect chocolate mousse like consistency. You can do the same with cocoa and avocado
My recipe for banana bread (which I invented!) Is whipping the bananas with your butter and sugar, and whipping the eggs separately (you also need to use one fewer eggs than usual because the bananas work to bind the dough). Then all the egg and add the same weight of flour as the amount of butter you added. Add a good amount of bicarbonate/baking powder, some vanilla powder, and gentlyix together to get the lightest banana bread you will ever sample
My grandmother taught us how too cook with our finger tips learing in time exactly how to measure everything without a measuring cup. Ohh I love the very ripe 🍌🍌 esp for pancakes & 🍌+vanilla milk shake with cinnamon. Love your channel!
banana-cocoa powder ice cream was BUSSIN, I can't believe there wasn't any added sugar. I didn't have a stick blender so I had to use a potato masher so it was very difficult to make and had chunks at the end. But holy shit that recipe is black magic
My favourite for over riped banana is cengkodok pisang 🍌 this is asian or purely malaysian im not so sure.. mashed it, mix it with clarified butter, egg, dash of vanilla, sugar, pinch of salt, lil bit of baking soda, and flour. (Mind you this is not a traditional recipe but this is my sis's and i love it so much!) You can add shreded coconut too if you like. Let the mix set for a lil while and then scoop it and deep fry them balls until they're golden brown. Bam! It's done! Its soooo darnn gooddddd!!! 😋😋😋
In odisha (An Indian 🇮🇳state)we a something similar to the banana pancakes you made, we call it malpua plus it's vegetarian, the recipe is something like this 1 cup Maida 1 ripe bananas (mashed) 1 tbsp Suji 3 tbsp Sugar 1/4 tsp Salt 1 tsp Saunf 1 cup Milk 1/4 tsp Baking powder as required Oil for deep frying 1 tbsp Ghee as required Sugar syrup 2/3rd cup Sugar 1 cup Water You can Google it you want to check it out it's also popular in Nepal and Bhutan too.
@AllFact175e also have malpua ... I am punjabi so we eat them in Bhadon ... It is the sixth month in the Nanakshahi calendar. The first day falls on August 16. This month coincides with August/September of the Western/Georgian/Julian Calendar and is 31 days long. Sawan and Bhadon form the rainy season.
I absolutely love the banana pancakes! And I generally just use banana, eggs and oats (maybe cinnamon and vanilla if i want to be fancy with the batter). And top it off with blueberries and honey. They're so quick and easy breakfast with fiber and protein
Yes banana bread!! That has always been a staple of my household, it’s so good. Also the dark chocolate really makes it great, it balances the sweetness of the bread so well and makes it all taste better.
Asian here, we loove our pisang goreng, jemput2 pisang and lempeng pisang. Means fried banana, banana fritters n our malay version of banana pancake cook with shreaded coconut flakes. Yummy.
Overripeness brings out the sugar taste in bananas. For this reason, they are a big step up from ripe bananas in dishes like smoothies, banana bread, etc.
My favourite is simple banana cookies. Just over ripe bananas, oats, and choc chips mixed toegther, then make cookies on a baking tray and in the oven until cooked. Super simple and super good.
In eastern part of India we mix mashed overripe banana, white flour, sugar - make a thick batter and deep fry in white oil in little round shape (a bit smaller than meatballs). Almost similar to that pancake recipe, but deep fried. They don't take that much oil as it seems. The caramelized sugar and banana gives it a great taste.
I usually mash the bananas, add a little vanilla, and some eggs, then use a Japanese style rolled egg pan. (butter the pan) Makes a great sweet rolled egg for bentos
I usually just batter them and make banana fritters. They are already rly sweet so you don't have to add more sugar if you don't want to (I usually top it off with a little honey)
Ești tare, tot respectul! p.s. apreciez mai ales umorul "ardelenesc" adăugat ca și condiment speial in tot ceea ce gătești 😂 Good job, you're making us all proud of you!🤗
One of the first dishes I ever baked on my own was banana bread. I was scared of overcooking it so I took it out of the toaster oven wayyyy too early, accidentally dropped it, and the top third of the still liquid banana bread spilled all over the open door of the oven. I just shoveled it back in and let the goo bake onto the glass. Still yummy 🤓
In the southern state of India called Karnataka we make mangalore buns using ripe banana. The more it is ripe the best it tastes. Hope you try it💜. We pair it with a gravy called sagu🤤
Or you can also put them in a pan with a bit of butter, and add some Rhum (you can burn it, cool trick to show) and it's delicious to eat with a vanilla ice cream for exemple
I made the ice cream and it was pretty good for taking 2 minutes and two ingredients. I didn’t slice and freeze the bananas. I had really dark bananas and just microwaved for 30 seconds and they were nice and soft so it only took a minute to blend into ice cream. The consistency isn’t exactly right but it’s pretty good
Banana bread is definitely my favourite; no nuts or anything, super dense and moist is the best, but a lot of people think that's not bread-y or cake-y enough, or that missing the nuts is a crime, but I like it a lot
You can make a great smoothie out of frozen bananas. Simply add 1 frozen banana, 35-40 g of spinach, some water, juice from half a lemon and a little bit of olive oil into your blender and blend it until it's smooth. Super tasty :)
add 1 tbl of lime juice, 115ml of coconut milk then 1tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp all spice and 1/8 tsp ginger, and whisky soaked sultanas to the banana bread and top it with rock sugar it tastes amazing
Those banana pancakes are awesome, but mine where the stickiest things ever, stuck to the buttered non-stick pan immediately and I ended up having little pieces of pancake balls, which were fantastic, but annoying lol. I also added a pinch of chili flakes, and I got one single spicy bite out of all 4 of the pancakes haha
