On Wednesday this week, we decided to go to this fairly new 2910 that was installed in Franklin County in April of last year. This was installed on the outskirts of the system to fill a coverage gap. We've had this on our radar for a bit, but we never really got around to recording it until now. If I'm being honest, this wasn't quite as loud as I was anticipating. From underneath, it was maybe about as loud as an average Vortex or 4004 at best, but from a distance, it didn't seem as loud. Nonetheless, this is probably still the loudest omnidirectional Whelen I've heard. Overall, this was pretty much just like any other Franklin County siren test, aside from this being an omni, of course. Enjoy!
