In today's video I put the interior back into my cummins swapped explorer project. It's always rewarding when your project car starts to look like a car again, and this 4x4 build really feels like it's progressing.

Oh yeah! It's all coming together. This build series motivated me to finally start work on my 4x4. It MUCH less work than putting Cummins in an Explorer, but needed that push to finally start doing it. Can't wait to see the end product. Was great fun to watch this thing ripped to pieces and now put back together and (hopefully) much better than originally.

I added 20” to the shifter in my ‘81 gmc dually. The truck has a sm465 transmission and shifts kinda slow anyway so I went for form over function 😂

Some years ago I put some nice leather seats, that was a horrible idea, they stained a lot, and are in a very sad shape, I'd love to put some racing seats with 4 point seatbelts, had those before, and were amazing, they gave me so much confidence

Thank you! I definitely think the Explorer needs a 4 point harness or similar at some point. I also have a love hate relationship with leather seats. I've been eyeing some corbeau suspension seats that you can get with cloth inners and leather (vinyl?) bolsters, that would be the best of both worlds for me I think. Maybe one day, seats are expensive! If you ever build yours send me some pictures I'd love to see it. builds@buildautomedia.com

I drive a white 92 explorer with a tan interior. It's so weird for me to see a white one with a blue interior.

My first one had a tan interior as well, green exterior. Gotta admit I kinda miss the tan 😅
