to see this chamring britain gentleman boxer henry cooper with ali is so touching .. knowing the affection and the reconization they got for each other .. and henry cooper was always present in mohamed ali shows he was always in the audience and always ali had good words about him .. and then seeing them very old in the car and cooper lifting ali's hand that s shaking cause of parkinson .. i cried inside ... may god bless them both .. i love henry cooper smile :))
In the 60’s I used to have my hair cut in Soho and on a few occasions both Henry and his brother would come in for the same. True gentle giants - so friendly not affected in any way.
It's Ironic that the majority of the British fight fans and public of all colours loved and adored Muhammad Ali much more than the Americans, the British public and fight fans really took him to their hearts and its born out of Ali being voted the greatest sports man and icon of the twentieth century who polled more votes than all the others contestants combined. You can all say what you want but the figures and votes don't lie the greatest rip.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed watching this documentary. I am a member of the Ali Center in Louisville, KY. And I'm going to ask them if this documentary is in the archives.
I think I can honestly say that I will cry when muhammad ali goes home. I have never seen this man in my life, but feel as if I know him like he lived next door. I hate to see him like he is now it is really sad........I love you muhammad ali.
MultiMm2009 He was a blessing I would say. Boxing became greater and I am grateful especially at Ali for his character, his ability in the ring and all the exitment. Miss you champ and you will always be The Greatest of all time.
Anyone who says tyson is the best bixer, doesn't know anything about the great sport of boxing, Ali rewrote boxing and he is and always will be the greatest of all time.
A big salute to the Great Britain's great people who know how to immortalise the moments and how to pay their respects to the great talents like evergreen Mohammad Ali...
