I'm coming to realize this as my wife is seeking a divorce. I tried for years to stay together for the kids, but she's escalated to having a secret affair and gaslighting me with all the stuff she does -- control, narcissism, unaccountability, anger, untrustworthiness -- in order to build her case with family and friends. I moved halfway across the country so we could raise our kids near her family,. They've now excommunicated me based on her duplicity.
Men can accept the wife leaving. The sex stopped years ago anyway. The problem is the man loses his house land, savings, 1/2 401k, wont see his kids much and pays alimony and child support. This is where the pain comes from. The wife can be replaced, his life savings and children are much more difficult. The men need to hate the family court system first.
The man can protect his assets using offshore trusts and LLC's. Look into it brother. It's possible and you'll win. However, I don't want to go to war with my wife. So if we split up, I'll just give her half. I don't care. It's just money. What I'm worried about is the time I will lose staying with her. I can make all the money back but I'll never get the time back. And I don't want this to be the rest of my life.
I’ve accepted the loss of her a long time ago. She let me know a long time ago before she left that she wasn’t happy at all. No matter what I could do. So she finally left. But in that leaving she ALSO took the rest of my family (two boys) with her. With no consideration to how I’d feel. THATS the unbearable loss. My youngest is an autistic 7year old who I miss more than breathing. My oldest is 19 so it’s a little easier with him. He is trying to make his own way.but I miss the little guy so much. THATS what hurts

I remember a saying I heard many years ago from a wise man. A woman is like a dog. When you go to a kennel to choose a dog to adopt, let the dog choose you. A dog will show you signs that it likes you and will submit to you. If you don't let the dog choose you, you will probably experience trouble later on trying to train the dog or getting it to submit. I think this rule applies to dating. Don't ask a woman out unless she has chosen to be with you. When a woman truly likes you, she will give you signs. And will make it easy for you to ask her out. Very true. Nowadays men are gaslighted into actually believing they are "bad with women" or they "dont understand women" when really it's all just an exercise in mentally and spiritually cucking men into thinking that men are actually the problem when they're not. We as men are being conditioned to play a game. That is against the divine order. It's completely unnatural and evil, and the only reason we play it is 1. Our sexual drive and 2. Loneliness. Then why do some tell you that, but then still want to keep seeing you and get angry because you merely respected their decision concerning you? I had a woman like that, and I never understood it. All I know is no matter what I did or tried to do, I always felt like I was wrong and couldn't do anything right. Quick example, sometimes I'd be hanging out with my uncle, a Vietnam Vet, or hanging out with my buddies and she'd hit me up, I'd tell her what I was doing, and tell her I wasnt in shape to drive usually, she'd get mad and tell me she didn't want me to come over, but then usually a half hour later she'd call or text me asking me where I was or why I wasn't at her house and be upset because I wasn't, and all I could respond with is: "You told me you didn't want me to come over, so I didn't, so why are you mad at me because I respected what you told me," and inside I'm thinking: "WTF?" That and I don't drink and drive, and I would think she would've understood that, but all she did in those situations was get mad, and that's the kind of behavior I do not understand at all. Why is it some women treat you like your wrong, even when you show them respect?
My wife left me after 36 years. I appreciate the our kids are well on their own, and I look back and had a happy life. Now that she is gone, I realize how much weight trying to make happy was for me. It took so much energy from me. Today, 6 months later, I feel free and energetic, just like when I went to college and starting on my own. She left me saying I was holding me back; today, I realize, she was holding me back. Things are all good! :)
My wife told me in a very arrogant and condescending tone that our marriage was over as far as she was concerned. I calmly replied, "OK, how do you want to proceed?" Should've seen the look on her face. That was NOT the response that she was expecting or wanted. I wasn't about to play the game she was trying to play. From that point forward it was over as far as I was concerned. We agreed to keep things amicable, then she decided to make it ugly in hopes that she'd gain more from handling it that way. That didn't work for her either. Sometimes you just have to let the trash take itself out.

My ex wife did this. In the days after she served me with papers, she would make sexual advances towards me. And would preface them with “this doesn’t mean we’re not getting divorced”. She did this twice and I rebuffed her. This set her off even more.
When my ex left with a another man. Although it was devastating at that time. She don't know it but in the long run, the other man became my best friend because my life is so much better now🎉😊
My wife left me. It absolutely threw me into an existential crisis. I questioned everything I knew about myself, about her, about men and women in general, and about life. While I would not suggest anyone go through such an experience voluntarily, it did in fact cause me to chamge into a wiser man. A better man. A man ready to be a better husband to a better woman. I believe in mirroring treatment from anyone. If they are polite, I am polite. If they appear to want to be let alone, I leave them alone. I mirror my wife's treatment to me. Somehow 34 years later, she still hasn't learned, if she is nice to me, I am nice or even nicer to her. Some women just feel initialed to special treatment that is not earned. Yoked unevenly
In my case, i left my wife a few days ago because she told me there is nothing she can or will do to change and help fix the marriage. Its all my fault according to her. This supports what some psychiatrists told me they call this "The Walk Away Wife Syndrome." The man never sees it coming and thinks he could have changed it. The MD's told me they see this all the time. They said, although I thought I was married 35 years, she emotionally divorced me most likely after our son was born 30 years ago. All she really wanted was a baby. Not to be a wife or in a family at all.

I have felt this from my wife 100%. Ever since my son was born it has utterly destroyed our marriage. The pregnancy was great and people even looked to us as a model couple. After our sons birth she got mad at me for taking naps. She got mad at me for going out on a handful of weekends. And she clung to her parents for help. She blames me for her being so tired when she easily could have napped when our son was napping. She said she would not shower for days on end when she easily could have showered while he was napping. She never communicated about any of this and she's been harboring resentments against me for years because of it. And she's still resentful because she wants an apology she's never going to get. And she holds me to standards she will never hold herself to.

They are a coping attempt to deal with the hate she has going on inside of herself. Now I do not understand any of this. If I am internally happy as a woman, I would never leave my husband for a bad boy. Look at how much turmoil for my self and others I can avoid just by choosing to be responsible for my own happiness. When I am happy I see and value what I HAVE versus being a poor me victim baby of seeing what I lack. Why would you want to leave a good man who loves and respects you for a bad boy who doesn’t care about you? For me I had to understand that I am loveable and deserve the best. Women are not rational. Most of (mature) women fell in love with drug/alcohol addicts, jerks, narcis, criminals and leave/reject sober men. I have seen it a way too many times to call it exceptional. Especially drug addicts are very popular among middle class women.
I learned, if someone wants to leave you, let them leave. Of course you can pray about it, but you don't have to beg the woman. If you know you aren't the problem, I believe eventually you will be okay. It is good to have expectations for people. At the same time, try to let things roll off of you without hanging on.

Easier said than done. My wife was love bombed by her narcissist coworker. She left me, our 4 and 1 year old daughters and our home for this man. He used her for 1 month and dumped her. Now i have a homeless wife and mother with post affair brain warp. For my daughters and her well being i gave her family and home back on a silver platter. Divorce and the thought of her allowing another man around my daughters was unacceptable. I saw her pick a narcissist over her family so i could only imagine the next freak she would pick. Hardest decision ive ever made and often wonder if it was the correct one.
If she doesn’t take responsibility, if you two don’t work things out, and if you don’t change as a man, this cycle will repeat itself and it will be much worse next time. You obviously love your children. Do what’s right for them, not her.

This message is so timely! I am exactly three months away from the finalization of my divorce (on my 63rd birthday) after almost 39 years of marriage. I have watched your videos before. Yet I did not consider myself a good man. So, I pretty much wrote off most of what you said as not applying to my situation. However, in counseling recently, the pastor told me that I was a good man, and this is about the third time in my pretty long life, where mature, spiritual leadership without solicitation, went out of their way to tell me this. So, when I saw this video title last night. I decided to listen, and it was just what I needed to hear. Thank you for your ministry. After my wife of 17 years left our kids and I 2 years ago, I took the time to heal. I started dating recently, at my kids request, and I found that other women act very much like my ex wife. I lost all desire to ever date or marry again!
It's been 14 yrs for me and the challenge is finding purpose and identity again. I illustrate it like bees. When the bee's hive is intact they will defend it until death. Once you dismantle the hive, they fly around listlessly and will not sting you. It has become harder for me to know why I am on the planet. You are right, I never realized that she planned the spilt for long before I knew it.
My ex wife left to find herself, leavings and our two kids (3 and 1 at the time) moving out of state. My blessing is that she gave me full custody (she did not have to pay child support per the court). My first wake up was that children are an ick when dating, men are not allowed to be single parent with young children. I quickly lernt not to mention children in my dating profile. Second realization was how no one cares, as a man you get no support and you learn real quick that you are on your own. Its over 10years ago now and in stopped dating for a relationship. I realized the kids and in are our family and there will never be a woman included. Adding a woman with tow adds only risks and will break the family up and nothing is worth that. I only do situationships, have some fun and move on and are the most happy I have been in years.
You are so wonderful to talk about this topic. My wife left me right after I turned 70 years old. I had to start over again. The marriage counselor was great and told me there was nothing I could do to save the marriage because she has already made up her mind to leave. So you are 100% correct.
My ex wife and I were together for 14 years. We have a 10 year old son. About 2 years after I helped her get through breast cancer treatment she ended our marriage. Blamed it all on me. 10 months into our separation she admitted that she had been seeing someone weeks after she left me. She has now been with this guy for 1.5 years. I do believe he is a train wreck himself. I feel like she still tries to control me through our son. Always trying to tell me what I’m doing wrong as a parent. I also know that I am stuck in the victim mindset. I don’t want to let go. I know I need to but I just don’t want to. Even though the anger and rage I have is poisoning me. I loved her more than anything and by letting go then it truly is over. I don’t know who I am without her. I will be watching this video every day. Guys, I don’t know if this expert will admit this but the biggest factor in a woman’s desire for a man is other women’s opinion of him. I'm not saying be Brad Pitt. Staying fit , being clean, setting boundaries and staying engaged with your wife as a friend and companion is in your control. Been married to one woman for 17 years with many children. I'm never told no in the bedroom and we are very close. We even have a rule that we don't accept people in our lives unless they also have good marriages. You have control over yourself and who you surround yourself with.
My wife didn't emasculate me, try to control me, or get emotional hooks in me....at least I don't think she did. By mutual choice, she was a homemaker and a wonderful mother....but by the time she gave all of herself to our children, there was nothing left for me. After years of neglect, I never touched another woman, only wanted to. Neither of us were happy, so after 40 yrs, she left. I wasn't surprised. It was as clean of a divorce as possible, and she didn't try to destroy me. I have no anger or resentment. She just lost hope. We didn't/couldn't give each other what we needed. BUT I have good relationships with my children now, just no wife. I don't think I want to start over at age 67. Even if I did, I can't even get a date! Most women my age are victims of the evil twins: Trauma&Drama.
Being a good provider and understanding how hard she worked to raise the 4 kids, certainly is a desirable quality. Existing in a sex starved marriage for 30 years was tough. No time for that with kids to raise!! Now I have been without ANY sex, no contact, nothing physical for the past 13 years. She is very unhappy with me. The best way to describe borderline personality disorder: when they love you, they absolutely LOVE and adore you. But when they are angry or hate you, the absolutely scathingly HATE you. And sometimes it’s very difficult to distinguish from narcissism, because narcissistic personality disorder has a lot of overlap with borderline personality. The big difference being that narcissist don’t ever love you. They feign love and pretty much hate everyone around them, and do not empathize with anyone because of their sense of superiority. Which is an ironic phenomenon, because their sense of superiority is rooted in deep shame, insecurity, and feelings of worthlessness. So a narcissist always hates you. Especially if they feel that you may potentially be on an equal level or even better than them. Whereas a borderline person loves you to death in the moment. But then flips to hating you with all of their being on the other side of the spectrum, if triggered in that response . No, the thing to keep in mind is that BPD is much more common than NPD. NPD occurs less than one percent of the population. So most of the women that she is describing in this video tend to be BPD in terms of their personality defect. This is where my ex-wife was. Because there were times when I truly felt that she just loved me. But when she was angry, oh my God. Hell have no fury. And much more common in women. As a man, when we had difficult times in our relationship, I always loved her. I never got angry to the point where I just hated her and would just spew and emotionally vomit on her, the way she did with me. This is the frame of men I would assume. I’m sure that the men in here will confirm this with regard to any responses to my post. We never had feelings to the point where we were just be so angry that we would form vengeful thoughts in our heads. Certainly as men we all had trying times in our relationships, but our responses and emotions for the most part always went to how can we fix this? So many women are 'finding themselves' and filing for divorce now. In reality he was NEVER her first choice, and she settled for 'a nice guy' because of her desperate need for baby rabies AND financial security in her 20's/30's. Women love the wedding day and the dress, because it's all about them. Daily marriage bores them for the most part, basically they BOTH picked wrong..

Going through this now, she checked out a long time ago, maybe i have too, she got fat and old(sex stopped 2 years ago), the emasculation, manipulation, controlling ways and gaslighting are at peak. We have a daughter with a disability so that has been what kept us unified to a degree. Thank you for shading light on this and all your other great videos. At the top of this show, it is really nice that you mention all the people that are watching. What I like to know is, are a majority of your audience men or women? It seems that more men are watching then women. Are women watching and paying attention to all the true facts that you are trying to convey to them too? Are women avoiding your show because they don't want to face reality and accountability for their own behavior? Just my thoughts.
This describes what i went through. it figures i fo7nd one like this. My parents including my Mother were emasculating. I overcame a lot and am proud of my work and accomplishments, rather small but im financially sound. Despite 2 marriages. I realized i wasnt perfect, but over all i was good to them.
A stay home mom ended our 30 yr marriage 6 kid who are now grown ups she had planned this for yrs she never communicated that she wanted a devorce it came through another person till this day 9 yrs later no communication with her or the kids i have moved on and has heald and excepted her choice i am at peace and doing new and better things with my life 😃
I feel for you. The problem is when the love turns to hate, no third direction for a women.. not only do they want to separate from you as if you don't exist they also turn kids against the father.. it's scorched earth with them when they leave.. very evil they are
My wife has threatened to leave me several times in the past. She's even taken the kids and left a few times. But she came back. I know this isn't the normal story that most men have, but after the first or second time it happened, I learned to just accept that she probably won't come back and to not fight for a marriage that she was unwilling to face herself. The last time she threatened to leave, I left work early, immediately grabbed her suitcase and told her to start packing. She quickly rescinded her threat. It's not healthy, I know, but she's been getting better. She once prayed over what to do and God simply told her to stay with me. I think if more women saw their marriage as a promise they made to God rather than a social dating contract, we wouldn't see this 70-90% stat of women initiating divorce. But maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic.
If your “partner” threatens the relationship or just outright quits on it and that’s just what it is. It’s time to say goodbye and let them go. Especially if you are a man. The weird psychological thing that happens when you chase a woman being childish as a man, that she will respect you even less because you are signaling that she was right and her choice. Even if you’re just trying to keep it together for the children or because you believe in obligation and promises and vows. She’s going to see you putting her on a pedestal as signaling that you are less than her and she is going to be reposted by any moment she thinks that you’re back in the toy box. If you really wanna stick to a childish, vapid human being who treats people this way, seriously, just forget about them as much as possible remove them from your life as much as possible, and live your best life because it’s going to drive them crazy you be fine without them when they thought that they were special because that’s the way you were treating them before they decided to take you for granted and take advantage of you and cast aside like a piece of trash. You just being fine with it being over and moving on with another woman and towards the life that you want that makes you happy is absolutely going to drive someone who viewed you crazy because even even if they don’t regret what they did, they’re going to feel entitled to you and they just don’t get to have you anymore
If your wife talks about opening the marriage, your marriage is almost certainly over. If she cheats on you even once, your marriage is over. And if she blames you for her behavior, your marriage is over. And it’s time for you to see that person for who they are and understand that whoever you thought they were, whatever idea you had about that, was not true. You are in a relationship with the idea of someone who probably didn’t exist and you, and they both both wanted you to believe that they did

Thank you for this excellent insight. Very helpful. I think a big factor in feeling the loss is the realization that the commitment I felt to her was not reciprocal and was rooted in a fantasy on my part that she wanted what I wanted. Wrong!
I used to take pride in the fact that 9 x out of 10 when a woman dumped me she'd come back, but it was usually short lived. I learned through the school of hard knocks that when she ends the relationship, it's over, done, no reconciliation. Harsh I know, but I've just started grasping that if she really cared about the relationship she wouldn't have dumped me to begin with

I lost my friend a year ago. He had a lot going on but when his engagement destabilized it was the final straw. He really was a good guy. He was only 25, there has to be more we can do. Can the juice even possibly be worth the squeeze with love? Thanks for making this channel, somebody had to.
Thank you for your videos they have help me a lot lately. All started when she got post natal depression then down hill from there. I got injured at work and then it got worse. Never could get better no matter how tried but felt one sided. Endo post natal and all that hormones etc what a nightmare
Dude the post natal made my wife harbor crazy resentment against me for years. She acts like I am Hitler because she would go 4 days at a time without showering and blame me for it, even though she could have showered while our son took naps.
I just went from having the best life the life of my dreams, 21 years of marriage to my beautiful wife who I adore who I have been loyal to and admire just had a change of heart a sudden one and it is a shock of all sharks and went and filed for divorce without me even knowing never was served properly and she was granted because I didn't show up because I never knew what was going on and I was next day was told or divorced and I need to get out in 10 days
It was heavy show but a great show as always 😊I went through this with my 1st wife, I should have known better as I was her 3rd husband. It was scary at 1st & I was hoping we could be civilized about the split. Welp I was wrong about that, She & her future husband (#4)chose to battle & I chose nuclear war 😅 Now I am sure I am living in her head rent free as husband #2 was.🤣😂🤣
I started asking for the emasculation to stop, and started enjoying my life instead of trying to please her. She moved out, I think once she knew I was on to her strategies.
I divorced my ex wife when she refused marriage counseling. 4 years later she still takes me to court every year to fight for custody of my kids. I have a new GF who lives with me and she can’t move on and is emotionally neglectful to our kids. It’s hell on earth

It's really not cheaper to keep her. If she gray divorces you, you lose much more. Your better to divorce her asap and start the rebuilding early. Don't get married the second time.

Hey men. If she leaves I know it’s hard but just get over it. You will not get her back and you will realize one day that you don’t need her. When their mind is made up they will never go back because they will never acknowledged they made a mistake. If you take her back, she will always believe she was right on leaving and you will always be the problem.
.When on average .. a good marriage fails through no fault of your own based on something as uncomplicated as a "coin flip" (the first time around).. losing 2 out of 3 times the second time around, and losing 3 out of 4 times on the third try it makes one wonder where "would be" the motivation to try for a 4th shot at being miserable and losing half of everything...
Karyn, there is nothing wrong with giving up. The system is heavily stacked against men, not everyone has the mental wherewithal to go through it again. Legally, the legal system gives women ALL the leverage, and thus it is taken advantage of by women. Pre-nups are only so effective, but all women should be the ones pushing pre-nups, no danger of alimony, and minimal child support, if SHE was the one causing the divorce.
