That’s why I quit Mclane a slow day would be 11-1200 cases 33 thousand pounds. But at the same time made me strong and look at anything I do now as a piece a cake
What up Bro! Always good watching your videos. You and a couple other driver channel helped me and the reason why I wanted to do foodservice. I worked for Merchants been there 1 (1/2 )yr. And PFG bought out us and Reinhart. Thanks for everything Man! 💪❤
What’s up, just started watching your videos. All I have to say is, man I love the content.. You do an excellent and amazing job. Keep up the good work! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I work for Mclane food service in Plymouth, Mi. Compared to all other places I have heard man we have the worse. My routes that I do and that we have. We go out with 12-1400 cases a night with 11-16 stops.. on average most of our routes are over 34,000 pounds on daily basis.. so I would definitely say Mclane to that. It’s definitely some work night in and night out!!
I appreciate you watching fam! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. You guy’s are definitely going out with a heavy load. Stay safe out there my brother. 🙏🏾
Based on expo sysco (Atlanta) is ran like a temp agency but the expectations of being in the military. They load trucks any type of way with 900+ cases a day mostly pups and if you become fast you WILL be going back out to help you Will work 14+ hours on duty and you WILL used that 16 hour exemption EVERY week. Neither of which includes the times you walk in and wait for your load to be finished for 2+ hours and you can forget about a 10 hour reset. You’ll be back the next day super early regardless. They’ll put you on the truck with somebody else unitl time for your clock to restart. The Only good thing about sysco Atlanta is the pay is great 3000+ a week gross but you will be signing your life away to the company and that’s no exaggeration. It’s one of those deals that even if you’re in need for money you’ll be looking for other jobs once you realized what you got yourself into. You will basically be property of sysco. Almost Everyone in transportation is toxic and every driver there at that location is always angry and stressed but that’s another story.
I disagree with alot of that as of 2k23 bro...I'm here at Sysco Atl and for me,it's 85% 360 of 99.9% of the videos "I've " seen on RU-vid about it.I been here almost a year now and I have no severe complaints.600-975cases.Routes wkly 80% decent. If your truck not loaded properly, rearrange it before you leave with an Electric jack to start your day off great. We only wait for routes when the warehouse is behind 45mins-1hr delay(use your delay time & get paid, they pay you for delays). When were you here at Atl location bro??Sorry you had a bad experience
Hey Anthony, Please do a video on PFG Customized Division. It’s like Sygma is to Sysco. We do all chain restaurants. 1000-1700 cases. Cracker Barrel get 600-1000 cases by themselves. I’ve been working with them for 20 yrs . We do Chili’s, outback, bonefish grill, Logan’s roadhouse, Ocharleys, Red Lobster and Many More. Starting pay is 14-1600 a week depending on location For 4 days. $20 extra on top of that per week.
@@GrangerHicksCEOlifestyle Performance Food Service also does chain accounts as well “Mom and Pop” restaurants. Performance Food Service delivers to Zaxby’s, Marcos Pizza, Applebees, Smoothie Kings, Moes Southwest Grill, Wingstop, Brusters and we just picked up Popeyes.
My list would be pretty accurate like yours bro I started my foodservice journey at Sygma n def yes we would roll out with 1300+ cases n anywhere between 35-40k lbs on the trailer lol n a lot of driving too but cases dis come off easier than Sysco cuz the more cases by stop the better is cubed/palletized so a lot less down stacking
I used to work at shamrock not for a long time but here in Phx, Az 900-1,400 cases was the average. Everything was floor stacked and many times all the way up to the door. It wasn’t for me i ended up leaving to do LTL Linehaul make about the same and way happier
I worked at sysco and someone can go out with 7 stops 1400 cases and be done in 5 or 6 hours. Or 17 18 stops and 700 cases be out there all day. The one with the most stops will have it way harder. So i dont think who pushes out most cases is not always a fair argument.
This isn’t about who gets back faster buddy. It’s about which company drivers are taking out the most cases. I simply gave my list of companies in order which could be completely different from someone else’s. Some of it is really subjective. I’m just curious of what you guys have to say.
A little fyi about Sysco. They own Freshpoint, sygma, Northstar seafood, buckhead meat, and plenty more in Europe and Canada. 5 year selector and lift operator looking to go driving
I'm a solo driver also.....I pull 18 stops and 1000 cases a day on my rts 4 days a week with my 5th day being a force to work. Pfp rate is 46$ an hr here
My pfg only averages like 500-700 cases, except burger king routes they have like 1300, the top 5 drivers make their money from miles and backhauls, ive had 14 stop’s with only 450 cases before
Mclane food service driver in texas here. We go out with 1000-1400 a night Anything under 1000 is a drought lol mane i just did 16 stops qith 1265 cases last night lol aint no joke.
Do Dollar General / Family Dollar accounts count as food service? We deliver mostly food items and on the Family dollar account we touch every case in tandem with the roller system we have going on here.
Not all cases are the same I use to work at usfoods, and Ben e Keith, on my Thursday night route I would have 900-1000 cases but only 4-5 stops, these are easy I would knock out the route in like 3 1/2 to 4 hrs not including the driving to Houston and back from buda. It was my cake day. All the cases for big chains are all same dimension boxes are easy to stack without thinking too much. And you get paid for a lot of cases when they are gravy routes.
@@andrehamilton1664how you like mcclane? Choosing between some smaller food companies, mcclane and Sysco; tbh I just don’t like getting paid every two weeks
This is my list but I’m southern Cali 1-Mclane 2-Sysco& PFG -same case count heavy all day 3-shamrock 4-Martin brower and US foods 5- harvest food service out there in Temecula there are some other small Food service companies but they fall below
I think drivers are underpaid doing this job, which sucks. Regardless of making over 100k ain’t much nowadays. Especially rising a family. I work for Mclane.
@@realistically9091 we’re you there? Lol Lol I left a month ago. Ain’t capping do the math . Key word I said AVERAGE 2,200 cases 17 stops 27,000 pounds 53ft trailer 2 people with hand dollies . Cases stacked from wall to wall bottom top side by side. And cooler freezer. Yet I’m capping 😂 OK
Anthony, is it true that you get to basically eat for free while you’re doing food service to these restaurants? In other words, you get free food? Or a drink or whatever?
I won’t mention the customer name online but they offer me food often. It’s very common to receive food from customers in this line of work if they like you. Most times I turn it down because I bring my own lunch with me. Well this customer actually owns two restaurants and one that we don’t service so I can tell you the name of that one it’s Golden Coral. Both restaurants are next door to each other so they allow me to pick which one I want food from. It’s pretty cool. I have good relationships with the customers I actually see from time to time.
