NOTE: Legacy’s weekly news tribute will resume the first week of January. Meanwhile, visit our RU-vid channel to watch our “RIP 2022 Year in Tribute” retrospective videos. ALSO: Our apologies for the two errors in the anniversary segment: As several of you have noted, Joe Strummer died in 2002, not 2022; and Chris Farley died 25 years ago, not 15.

Dino Danelli was a pioneering drummer in the Young Rascals.. . later shortened to just The Rascals. 'He had unbelievable timing, power and style. No one could twirl drumsticks like Dino Danelli and he did it with TWO sticks whirling through the air like a windmill on steroids. Check the early vids of Dino drumming on "Good Luv'n". You won't be able to take your eyes off him. I didn't think Dino would be the first to pass from that iconic band but time has no allotments. The Rascals were in my generation. I loved their music. I think the next victim should be Epiphany! They may have to reshoot some scenes due to the actress’ untimely demise, as they shoot 5 weeks in advance. She was such a beloved actress and character…usually they don’t replace actors who die suddenly in real life. Like Neil Winters on Y&R, perhaps Epiphany will have a special episode in which the tears will be real, and each character can have throw-back scenes with them and her over the years. Even renaming the nursing program after the character, etc Perhaps a stand-in laying in the hospital bed after her surgery from being hooked…where they don’t show her face…then the characters coming in, holding her hand and walking down memory lane, while encouraging her to fight, but we all know the outcome. Then having a funeral honoring her. In my opinion the actress is too loved to be replaced. RIP Sonya🤗 Thoughts?

I love the show Sue Thomas where it shows how she over came so much while being deaf. I think we need to learn from her. No matter what you do you can do anything if you set your mind to it

I agree! I didn’t know she died. She deserved much more recognition than she got, especially her death.

Although these videos are always sad, you who announce these deaths have a very pleasent voice to listen to. Have you ever recorded/read any audio books? You would be perfect for that. :)

Not Franco! I am a 49er fan but Franco was a great player in the era of "smash mouth" football.

Regarding Franco Harris, this week marks the 50th anniversary of the "Immaculate Reception" and the two teams involved in that game, the Steelers and the Raiders, face each other Saturday night.
