Kind of a dumb statement though because plenty of women are able to continue on with things while breastfeeding. Baby could pagaent and feed lol
@saje239
@saje239 4 года назад
@@sunflowerrayne6026 I interpreted that different. Yes, it's physically possible to breastfeed and put your baby in pageants, but I'm doubtful it occurred. It's the idea of parading your infant around rather than just focusing on her needs. No baby wants to do pagaents, but every baby wants to breastfeed. It's a difference of values and parenting philosophy.

That, for me, is a perfect summary for the problem a lot of African families. You ask a child for their opinion and when they are honest, you punish them. Only teaches children not to be honest. That is why child abuse is also so rampant.

Belsnickel I totally respect that:). Don't feel bad for thinking that. If I was a child I'd be confused too. But you never know it's kind of beautiful to learn things at a young age. The little boy was adorable "I thought you were our color!" I can see this being taken way out of proportion if the colors were the other way around. It was completely innocent, I'm sure when he was expecting a new mom he was expecting something familiar. Maybe he isn't used to white people. I didn't really meet any white kids until I hit middle school so before then I was just used to playing with kids my color. I didn't expect it. :) Edit: For people who say that role reversal isn't important, it is. To sit there and pretend that there wouldn't be an outrage if a white child said the same thing is ridiculous and selective in what is permissable and what is not. And this comes from a Hispanic/Black Woman. And I'm not necessarily trying to explain the boys behavior to excuse it, but to give you an insight into why he might be surprised. Some of us don't have the pleasure of interacting with different races until we leave our area of origin.

But it is also ok to not do it when someone has told you not to do that for them if they’re uncomfortable with it or just don’t want it.
