In anticipation of Crackdown 3's release in a couple weeks, today I (Tim Rogers) am backtracking on Crackdown 1. I loved this game in 2007, and in replaying it for the purpose of making this video, I discovered I still do. Crackdown gave players in 2007 an alternate perspective on the sandbox game design that made Grand Theft Auto so wildly popular. It turns out that alternate perspective was not exactly what literally everyone wanted. Or maybe it was the Xbox exclusivity. Look, we'll never know for sure, though I had fun philosophizing into a microphone for this video. And I'm ready for Crackdown 3.
