They want to understand the deeper biological and psychological roots of female mating choices. They don’t want to martyr themselves to singledom. They want a healthy relationship with a high-quality woman. My mother is like that. her husband is the best thing ever. She was like that with my father before he died as well. Weird how that seem to make a marriage work. They do everything together. I was 20 years old when I first heard a woman say something nice about men. I was standing at a train station when my girlfriend, out of the blue, said: "I think men are wonderful." It was like being slapped with a fish. I was momentarily dumb-struck. It just never occurred to me that a woman could say something nice about men.

What a sad world we live in when a women will only do good things for her partner so she can brag about it on social media. It does beg the question, do you think any women would be enthusiastic in a man's passion or hobby, if he also asked her not to post about it on social media.

IDC if it's staged, to see that guy be so happy just melted my heart. That's where men and women differ. Women would get all catty and jealous seing other women getting spoiled, but men cheer for their mates.

My wife is always telling me she feels like she can’t talk about me at work because all her coworkers ever do is badmouth their husbands and she just loves me and respects me too much to do that. She says it makes her sad that they are always speaking about their men like that.

Well, I guess it was a nice gesture. But whenever I see a person record their good deeds, I automatically feel it’s more important for them to get attention, likes, and more followers on social media, rather then a genuine sincere gesture. And people certainly go through great lengths these days to gain that approval. It was a little too Disney and fake for me.

Kevin Samuels pointed out that women place the "sisterhood" first, they will say anything and even change their behaviour to be accepted by the "sisterhood". It is that institution that makes women so reluctant to express what actually makes them happy and how much they love their man.

I am a landscaper. This lady once asked her son to help weed while I was working on her lawn. After he finished, she said thank you, you did a good job and then hugged him. It basically replays like PTSD in my head. I never saw anything like that. It was so real. And fyi, he only did a good job.

There was a prior version of this, where girls would just catch their partner's reaction to them entering the room naked. When they apparently care more about the social approval of random strangers on the internet than of the one person they spend the most time with.

One interesting scenario I've observed on multiple occasions of women speaking badly about their partner was one wherein she was engaging with a man she found more valuable. This case in particular may come down to an attempt to mate switch.

The problem is that she did it for social media and not for him. Because she cares about the views from strangers more than she cares about him.

I couldn't agree more with the point that people just want their value to be seen and valued by another person.

Whether or not a complement is accepted by a woman is largely a function of how attractive she finds you. If she finds you only marginally attractive, it must be infrequent, very sincere, non-physical, well phrased, and well timed. Unattractive, all complements she finds creepy.

You can't "screw up" by giving women valid and accurate criticism. If they don't handle it like a mature human being, then she's a child. It's as simple as that. Even if it's blunt, she should be able to withstand that and actually hear what you're saying. Wives and mothers cannot, CANNOT be emotionally weak.

Don't give them the time of day if she doesn't have a genuine desire for you and wants to be in your frame. I've been what they call a Tyrone all of my days and somehow figured women out early on in my life by being somewhat of an asshole to them by not taking shyt and standing firm on what I would or wouldn't allow. This reminds me of my first serious situationship. She told me that I 'got her' better than any guy she'd met before. She said I was beautiful, inside and out. She even brought up sx before I did. So I'm sitting here thinking that I was going to be successful the way you two have been successful. But no. She still ended up ditching me to go back to the codependent covert narcissist that she was seeing before me, because she said that "he seems to be getting better." Some say that being able to fix a bad boy and feel superior to him is worth more than being with the good boy who's gonna hold higher standards. Looking at all of the 20/20 retrospect signs, I believe that she has a low-level case of Borderline Personality Disorder. There's a saying that I learned from my mother and my mother learned from my father: *Water seeks its own level.* My borderline situationship gal sought her own level. Statistically, about half of girls with BPD end up in relationships with guys who also have a personality disorder, so it all checks out in the end.

I think the time of extremes is over now. The world got so extreme that many of the girls i date like my balanced personality. I have almost no extremes. I think it's pretty common that men would like to be with a women who basically has the same interests as our friends but we get to do bedroom fun with and rise a family. That is very rare. A lot of women will pretend to like the same things in the beginning so you like them, then slowly remove that and get you to take them to places that they want instead.

Game is different from Personality and is not (necessarily) "phony". For instance, I am shy by nature, but have developed the ability to initiate conversations in a social setting, not merely hitting on a girl. Had I not done this, I would have enjoyed my life much less than I do.

as i see it in a relationship, a woman wants a man to tell her about his emotions without actually becoming emotional, just as a man want to hear the truth from a woman but not get the bitchy attitude with it. i think a womans mind goes very much looking for subtext constantly regardless of who they are talking to because that's what women tend to do when they socialize, they lie a lot for a wide variety of reasons, for their own benefits, for the benefit of others, to be nice, to hurt, to undermine. for a whole slew of things so they are super in tune with that. however when women deal with men they expect men to be like that too and it ends up rarely being the case that the guy they are talking to are what they think they are because they've read into something far more than what the guy ever intentioned there to be. like you can say to a woman "i like your shirt" and she can interpret that in so many ways, and better yet if you say "i don't like your shirt" because that messes with her whole perception because why would you say something negative when i don't know you, like is he being genuine? is he joking? is it just the shirt or is it me? and i think the reason for this is how women are taught growing up usually, either from their friends or parents they learn to be nice by lying and it doesn't end there, because as children we test others limits of how far we can take things and this goes for girls too, and girls sometimes gets away with lying far too much or it's so widely accepted that nobody cares if they do because they are girls, and i think if it isn't handled correctly it can be harmful to the girls themselves in the long run.

Praising a vvoman you (not me) are dating or attracting, MIGHT not come off as supplicating or "beta"...but it certainly begs the question of self-deception and lack of sincerity and/or flat out disingenuous. Either A) you are setting the bar too low, or B) you are meeting outliers. If you honestly expect me (and perhaps others) to believe that YOU TWO have regularly met individuals that were "amazing" and impressive enough to warrant your exclaiming that they are great (along some particular characteristic), then you two are the luckiest guys in the world. In my entire life, I have met maybe three individuals that were people who actually impressed me in some way. Yes, only three people in my entire life were individuals I would have considered using the words "great" or "amazing." The rest of the population are so similar and mediocre, I could easily replace one with another ( and not that this is such a negative thing; it is what it is). And on top of that, you two suggest that you've actually met VVOMEN that were worthy of that kind of praise. I highly doubt it. I'd just like to point out that even most of those with BPD, NPD, HPD, etc, etc are not intentionally abusive. That doesn't reduce the damage done by the abuse or mean that you shouldn't pay attention to the red flags of personality or mood disorders. And I'm certainly not endorsing getting into a relationship with someone like that - they need to make some changes before they should be in a relationship. But I think it helps us all be more empathetic and compassionate and humane by realizing that the vast majority of people, even those with psychological disorders, are trying to be good people and are not intentionally hurtful. I'm pretty sure Alexander wasn't trying to say they're inherently evil or hurtful, but I thought it worth mentioning. Good stuff Alexander, as always.

Great Great video especially the end where he states men and women need to have both and develop both the masculinity and femininity within themselves to have that nice balance. It can be great when a women is feminine but when she has the emotional depth and just the awareness to be masculine at times by being assertive or strong it can be a turn on especially in the bedroom when she can take control and be okay with that instead of feeling awkward or weird doing that type of thing even outside the bedroom this way the guy can relax more and not always worry that he always has to step in and vice versa. Mastering both the fem and masculine within yourself can be a plus as we all have that duality regardless if your a male or female. It also ties in with acknowledging and being aware of the shadow parts of ourselves this way we're in touch with all parts of our being this way the shadow parts of ourselves don't manage us without us even being conscious of it like being judgemental just bc it makes us feel significant. Judging or discernment can be fine just understand why your doing it. Is it from ego, approval seeking or genuine to get to a solution to help yourself or others. Lastly, gushing is fine. If the guy has a strong sense of self he can compliment often if he feels too. It comes down to intent is he doing it bc he genuinely feels it or is he doing it bc he's weak and scared to lose the girl or hopes to get some kind of action from it. If you work to be better and high quality you can compliment from a genuine place even if it seems like it's gushing and still be okay. Part of it is you have an abundance mindset and can walk away if need be and stuff like that or replace the girl if you need to. It also aligns with being genuine and good karma, so it won't be all the time with (compliments) and life will naturally throw you and the girl curve balls where you have challenges and disagreements so she'll also get her dose of mixed emotions so she won't get bored either. It's been my impression that my "Game" is me. It is not some fictitious character I play (aka deception). Yes it is different than I used to be. We have to understand that no pill is completely wrong. Every pill has some good things, and the best thing a man should have is a perfect combination of all three. I'd say that "game" means specifically the actions a man takes to "seduce" a woman, whereas "personality" is a broader picture of your overall character. It doesn't mean that your game and personality are disconnected, though. Game can be part of your personality, it can give an insight into it, but it is only a subset of your personality.

I think that in general women value social safety above all else even at the expense of inner happiness, physical and emotional safety if need be. And in this society today it just happens to be popularity. This might be an additional factor as to why women might be with a guy that might not like personally but can brag about to her friends (genetic quality) over someone she might like personally ("just a friend").

Such a dumb graph… amazing to me that some guys think they can just “let themselves go” once they get married. Game is likewise still important (at least maintaining frame). My father was a super high-achieving pillar of the community, but I’m convinced it’s his lack of frame that lead to divorce with my mom.

The sad thing is that a girl doing things to make her man happy is complete anathema now. The second I see that behavior start to fall off from a woman, or if I don't see it from the start, she's out.

Flattery is very different than genuine appreciation. Flattery is practiced, broad, and is often followed by a request. Genuine appreciation is thoughtful, specific, and isn't looking for anything in return.
