I couldn’t agree more about the momentum comment. If I have any more than 2 days off I find it extremely difficult to break that cycle, so I find training daily works best for me. Even if it’s only 30mins. Once I’m rolling it’s difficult to stop 😊

I've been living in Seoul for 2 years, going to the gym on and off, on a three month streak with 2 rest days a week right now. I've found recently tons of protein bars, shakes, and other foods popping up on Coupang, but the most helpful thing is finding motivation. 👍

Wanhee, this was a great video. What I like best is that you are grounded and not conceited at all. You truly are helping so many people, including me. Thank youl

Another great vid. Can't thank you enough for these videos that you have made. I really resonate with what you said at the start about cycles of motivation and demotivation. Your outlook is really game changing and your approach to health and fitness resonates with me a lot too. Keep going man!

Hey Wanhee, As a response to "give me some questions, some things that you want to see on this channel": I have lil personal journey going on right now on the topic of relationships. I recently decided that I am not really going to go out of my way to try to get into a relationship. I am working on myself, going to the gym, studying to be a programmer and taking self improvement courses in the evening. Right now, I am working on my personal happiness level. It is a recent opinion I've formed that I feel one should not seek out a relationship as a source of happiness. I don't even think it's viable since you are the source of your own happiness. Anyway, I wanted to go over something that happened recently. I happened to see a girl going to the same building that I am going to for this self improvement course. I had seen her previously at where I work a couple month prior but we never spoke. Then, a couple months later, I happened to see her again at my exact gym that I am going to at 6AM no less. At this point, I felt like I HAD to reach out. We obviously have similar interests and some aligned purposes. And I feel this is what you should look for in a partner. I tried a couple times to hype myself up at the gym to go talk to her but there kept being reasons like "I have shit sleep and I just don't feel up to it", "I don't really feel comfortable approaching her. I'm not going to force something that I don't want to do". I guess you could say I didn't have the balls to go talk to her? Last Saturday, I ended up searching her up on Facebook and messaging her. I basically said something along the lines of "hi, hope you dont reaching out to you here. I didn't know your name before but I found out from (a friend we both knew at work). I noticed we have now crossed paths in three different locations and I wanted to see if you wanted to get some coffee sometime? ". We were not friends on Facebook. She ended up not responding for several days and I sort of lost interest and was cool with moving on. She ended up messaging me the other day. She explained, at first she didn't remember me and she asked how I was doing. I answered and asked how she was. It has now been 24 hours and she's not responded. And I'm cool with whatever the outcome is. Topics of discussion (that I've been personally speculating on recently): 1. I suppose one could think it's "weird" that I reached out via messenger and didn't just go to them in person. My response is: it was the gradient approach that I decided to start with and felt comfortable with at the time. Although it was the "cheap route", it's better than nothing and a first step in getting more comfortable with speaking to people. 2. One can also argue that the best route to experimenting in relationships is to just dive head first and toss aside whatever inhibitions you have. But my argument is: I want to work more on my communication skills and I want to get my happiness to a point where a relationship will not be an emotional dependency but rather two people who enhance each other through aligned goals and purposes. Cheers.

Man I know this feeling all too well, I recently went through this phase myself with a lot happening in my life but I've managed to pull myself through it! The main thing in situations like this is to remain consistent with whatever you're doing initially and then build up from there. You need to establish a good baseline of activity first and then gradually increase the throttle to keep the momentum moving and progress building. Great video Wanhee, we need more people spreading this message, I'm looking forward to doing my bit!

Such a great concept. They’re good momentum and bad momentum. Never considered that. Also loved the comment “casual food at the end” @ 6:28. It made me excited for the end. Love the food clips. I live in a Korea town so either I find a restaurant or I’m going to ask my Korean friends to make that soup.

Dear Wanhee, I absolutely loved your video and infact due to your methods I have lost upto 6 kgs from last October. These points are absolutely fantastic. I know you’re a busy person, but if you have sometime, could you make a video on book recommendations that have shaped your mindset.
