I took delivery of my Velar R-Dynamic just 2 weeks ago and love it. I kid you not, the same thing happened to me. I went to the dealership cause I wanted a Sport. My salesperson (who is awesome by the way) told me about the Velar. They didn't have any in stock yet and urged me to wait until they received their demo. A few weeks passed, got the call to come check out the Velar in person. Now, I had already seen videos of the Velar online and I wasn't really feeling the exterior but love the interior. I also thought it would be too small like the Evoque. Well, I got there and fell in love with it. Ended up ordering one that day, the exact same color with black roof but opt for the acorn interior. Took delivery on Oct 21. I have gotten so many compliments on this car. I have had Japanese and German luxury before and was close to getting the Audi Q7 or Lexus RX350, I'm impressed thus far with the Velar.
GT G No it is not small at all. It is about the size of the Lexus RX. I was surprised how large it was. It is bigger than the evoque and the discover sport but smaller than the range rover sport. They say it is 3 inches shorter than the range rover sport.
The new Range Rover Sport has the new twin screen infotainment system as seen in the Velar. They are both lovely vehicles but if money isn't an issue, then the 2018 Sport SVR which now has 575 hp would be the one to go for.

I'm thinking Velar as well not sure about diesel or gas I hear diesel is better but they only have the small diesel in the usa, not the middle one I was thinking about, how is it on gas? is the back window too small to see when backing up? whats an oil change like meaning price and how many quartzes does it take and how often do they recommend you change it? are the screens hard to navigate when your driving? ohh how many girls have you bagged since you got it? have you noticed mopre attention from the ladies in this car? thanks

I have a 2019 Velar...... it was a P340....... it’s now a P INSANE!!! I just installed the Velocity AP tune with the crankshaft pulley and it’s running just under 500 HP. It’s unbelievable!
Does the velar have 3rd row seats? I know the sport has it but I honestly don’t like the look of it. I need a nice ass suv with third row seats. Don’t like the g wagon, Jaguar, Audi or other

Check out some of my other Range Rover velar videos. I go over all costs and how I feel. I probably would and just hope to have better luck. Its overpriced but I love the look. Id prob go for the sport
Its a Very nice car you have bro i order my Range Rover Sport back in august lucky for me they canceld my order because the production of the 2017 model was no longer be done so they gave me the 2018 Model for the same price as 2017 Man im very lucky because the 2018 Ranger rover sport isjus as the inside of the velr but The size and sporty feeling of theOriginal RR sport Either way a Range Rover stays a Range rover Im glad you like your RR Velar its a stunnign car keep it up with videos
Ya just got my Velar and although its super nice, if I knew the other Rovers were gonna adapt the exact same interior then I would have waited for the sport or full size. Now I think Ill bounce around in the Velar for a year then trade for the full size. I still see explorer when I look at the Sport...

The 2018 sports has both upper and lower screens and the upper screen folds out, for the price you get more tech in the sports than the velar and the interior on the sports is better than the velar
macauleyw34 lol is it a competition? I wasn’t going over my budget of 70k and the 2018 Sport would’ve came too late. I originally planned to buy a 2017 sport that was $67k but Velar came out and wanted that pretty much for the same price

The velar is a “poor mans Sport” velar owners are returning to sports in droves,,it’s a fact,!,,I know I’ve returned to the fabulous sport, from my disappointing velar, PS Velar sales are well below expectations. PPS,,all the yummy bits are now in the 2018 model, 😂😂😂😂👍🇬🇧
i dont think so. You can spec a velar and it will be more expensive than a sport. Velar is a different car and to me has a cleaner design and cleaner lines. i chose velar just because it was new model. Ended up paying 4k higher msrp for the velar than the sport i was gonna get
