Low esteem plays a factor if you feel you don't love yourself you'll continue to attract those type of men.

What you said about weak men being the ones to attack a woman was 100% spot on. What a weak loser my father was to be beating on and chopping down a little girl like me. Now that I think about it, every single man in my life that was weak, unable to provide, impotent, had less discipline, had less intelligence did his very best to destroy my confidence because he couldn’t feel good any other way. I always think back to these situations and just feel so heavy and unworthy, but it was them who were unworthy!

I don't understand women wanting their old man back. I don't put the garbage back in the house once I took it out.that's just weird

Women from poor families were always forced to work. To say that they didn't have the right to work in the past is a lie. Only the rich stayed at home. Being a housewife was always a luxury.

I used to attract them. Low self esteem, desperation, not knowing what you want, feeling like things have to be equal and you have to pay your part, not wanting to depend on a man, too independent, and unresolved trauma attracts users and abusers. Once I changed that I attracted men who want to give to me. Men who did not want to or who wanted to be chased automatically left me alone.

I used to attract woman beaters because I was too nice. But after fighting a few of them I learned. Now my fighting skills are pretty good!

The problem is that even if u look rich or quality, u might attract losers and users .. it’s step 2 that makes the deal : either u encourage or discourage them !

I realized the younger me did this by ignoring giant red flags as things I could "fix". I tried to fix for my parents so it was a natural transition. You can't fix anything, now I run at the first "woe is me" story lol If a man(or a woman) don't have it together they shouldn't even be trying to date...next. Currently working on improving. I don't want to attract anyone until I'm where I want to be. 💞

I've had so-called friends who laughed at an old man I dated many yrs ago! They were ignorant & broke, but had nerves to laugh at me for having an old White man! I was tired of young broke idiots & went for only someone who could pay some bills!!!

Everything starts and ends within you! I was in a 20 yr abusive relationship. It wasn’t about love, it was about what I felt and thought about my self. I just through him out last week. He became the ultimate Monster. He’s still pays my bills we have 2 girls. Now it’s time to figure out what the hell I was thinking about my self. A neighbour was trying and trying to use me, we lived in the same building, will run into each other at the building gym, he was always after me. I always ignored him because he never ask me out, just tried to get me into his apartment for "wine*, which I never went. One day he approached me at the pool, and just plain demanded I give a massage to him, I said "sure, it's going to cost you 2k", he was so offended!!!! I was appalled that he was offended, I was going through some hard times, and I suspected he was a dusty that thought of himself as the price, but he was so insisting always with me, that I actually thought he might perhaps have friend (without benefits) potential. It was so lame that I interacted with him for so long on common areas, not long interactions, but he did use me. After that I decided, that the next neighbour that approaches me like that, I'm asking for stuff since the first interaction, and if he refuses, then he can just go ! Won't be used and tricked ever again !
