Makes you so proud to be an American❤ Delta Force is one of America's babies and America loves each and every one of her babies. Don't let any one of her babies get hurt or injured because America loves her babies!
@@ConsistentlyInconsistent21 Are you implying, that because the Marines aren't near the level of accomplishment, as that of Delta? Yes... I live under a rock! Lol! I just always thought the Marines were bada**? Now I gotta go research this 'Delta' stuff I see! 😊
@@ConsistentlyInconsistent21 I wasn’t comparing them. I was just saying marines destroy everything like the water grunts they are and delta does things silently
@@Echo-ux3woa better comparison to Marines for the Army, would probably be a bunch of rabid Rangers. Delta is a tier 1 unit, right alongside SeAL Team 6.
I remember when this happened my dad was in the Army at that time and we were stationed in panama at that time. I remember looking at my dad's First sergeant and all he said was you see nothing. The reason we were at my dad's First sergeants house the night it kicked off was because our flight back to the states was the next morning. The funny thing is my Dad's car was already on a ship to be transported back to the states and that ship was sunk.
This is the one where the helicopter could only fly a couple feet off the ground before it crashed. There’s a great interview from one of the delta guys talking about this operation
Crazy mission! Choppers skids were scraping the road when it was nearly downed but still kept going. Cant imagine what was going through Muses head during his rescue?
There is an interview online with one of the operators talking about this mission. In reality, their cover was blown before arriving at the prison, and hundreds of civilians came to see what was happening. While getting to Kurt and fighting off the enemy in a hallway somewhere - he finally realized he was completely alone, made it to the roof only to see that the HIS chopper had already left. Then had to fight all sorts of enemies for a while until indeed a chopper came along for him & the wounded. WARRIORS!
I hope they make a mission for this in BO6. That would be awesome. I know they had a mission in bo2 for this, but I think it would be awesome to have one thats closer to the real event.
Actually, Operation Acid Gambit with Delta Force and Operation Just Cause with US Marines took place as an opening action of the United States invasion of Panama, on 20 December 1989. On Jan. 3, 1990, Noriega surrendered to the U.S. Marines and was transferred to Howard AB to face drug and murder charges. “These boots are made for walking”… by Nancy Sinatra finally drove him to surrender and me too. 🤣😂🤣🇺🇸
Laugh and scoff all you want, but in a case like this one, just the possibility that Delta Force or a Seal team might come to my rescue could be the difference between my hanging onto some hope and striving to survive or giving up completely and wanting to die. Also, at least to some extent, you hold an American hostage and you risk getting dead fast. It will likely happen at night and you won't be safe anywhere. All my respect to our men in uniform.
Yes guys ...because we know how Delta force always shares their mission debrief with RU-vidrs and their audiences, to ensure transparency for the sake of their top secret mission
@@ssShockRyder oh ok so I can take what I learn on RU-vid about special forces ops from the 80's as Gods truth... The brain rot is strong here...I can smell it.
@@UninterestingPerson it never happened at all as far as the people involved are concerned... I mean, based on this short there would be a number of serious criminal charges involved. Yet it never happened. And I like how you think 40 years makes a difference when any special forces soldier would know that time is an illusion. It's just a tool we use, it doesnt actually exist in reality. So what is 40 years? If time was real as we understand it, how come not even a monkey uses the time? There's no watches in reality. And without a watch you can't tell the time. You would be stuck guessing based on the sun wich is what we based time off anyway. So what is this your saying about 40 years? If it's a secret, they never tell you it...not ever...because for it to be a secret, it has to remain a secret. Therefore they will never really tell you what happened they will give you at best a few out of context facts that don't tell you much.
With this story is connected the idea of mounting rocket motors on C-130 Hercules transport plane which was supposed to land on nearby football field.... Read the rest of the story it's awesome whole thing... They reached him in around 2 minutes if I correctly remember. That's because there wa prison officer takes to kill him if any rescue attempt happens.... There's a lot about this .. interesting story
Special Forces Support Group* not Team, not many know that SFSG is built up of plenty UK members and most likely helped in a support role through out this operation.
Basic training is easy. Have fun, but make sure you LOOK LIKE you are scared & clueless. When u get to your first unit, go to the education center immediately! Register for correspondence courses. These days, u can register online, but you might find good advice from an experienced Ed counselor. If you need advice, there is this thing called the NCO support chain. Catch a senior NCO who doesn't seem like a douche (hard & stone-faced is good, but snide is bad). Tell him/her your goals and ask his advice to get their fastest. U might have to try a few different ncos before u find one who will freely give his time to mentor you correctly. BEFORE basic training, find a copy of the soldier common tasks manual. Study it carefully to learn things like NBC & especially 1st aid perfectly. In Basic, my senior DI noticed my proficiency and I became a peer tutor. Not always do u want to stick out though! In some platoons that's a bad plan. If you do become the #1 tgt (oops?!), OWN it. Don't take it personally. Thank your sergeants for focusing on you to make u the best possible recruit. (Most are too stupid to figure out if you're being sarcastic or not when u keep a sincere look on your face -easier to do when you bark your replies at max volume). Face it .. what other job includes playing in the mud, & playing war games just like you are a young kid? What other jib cares so much they feed you well & tell you to sleep properly when time allows? What other job is your primary work including lots of shooting & explosions? Lots of fun for the right guy!!! Seriously, I missed basic training. It was fun. Ppl who don't enjoy playing army, don't do as well. Just remember... u have to grow up sometime so it's best to have earn a civilian degree and certifications. I recommend financial management or computer science (w MCSE certification), education, hospital management, nursing, medicine or law. The world would be much better off if vets filled those jobs. But be advised, the education programs are filled w communists; so consider a private Christian university like Bob Jones if u choose teaching.
@Triogamer-pe2gc yeah this was a while ago, I believe the operation happened in the 80's, the m113 has been long replaced. Edit: specifically for combat roles, they are still actually prevalent for suppor roles, mainly engineering and ambulance jobs.
Theres a show from the 2000s called Combat Zone. They have an episode that tells the full story with interviews from kurt muse and the operators involved. Super cool watch. Highly recommend.
