They are made to order, sometimes they have used inventory for $12K but those go fast.

Only another owner can tell you how this quirky vehicle resonates with all kinds of folks.

I suggest you move to a state they sell in. The official spokesperson that eats spinach pretty much drives his for nothing. He lives in the correct state. So spend the money to move to his state and then spend the money to buy a FUV. After that you'll be saving money.

It's cheap to make a video and talk about how much fun it is. It's expensive to set up nationwide service and sales plus test drives. Thus, they are hoping people will purchase the product (if they live in one of the thirteen states) or just throw money down on it for an undisclosed amount of time when it's allowed to be sold in their state.

The service tech stopped by last week, he replaced a brake pad and upgraded my sofware. Now my parking brake has improved functionality. Not as cool as a Tesla OTA upgrade, but a vehicle upgrade nonetheless. People gotta know, Arcimoto is dedicated to supporting my ride. As an FUV owner, they absolutely rock.

@@danielkingery2894 You are confused. I have never owned a tandem bike, that would be two wheels with two seats, pedal sets and handlebars. My FUV cost 18K back when the trunk was a $750 option. I gave extra for trunk and white paint. Every year I own it I save over $1000 in insurance and I buy no gas or oil changes while driving a very fun, almost exciting, new class of vehicle. You can now find used ones for $12,000. Cars are boring and unadventurous and way too big for single adults. Owners have two Facebook groups for supporting each other and that is very helpful but you may not know that Arcimoto did not go bankrupt. It is downsizing into a smaller facility in Eugene and has resumed warranty service, as well as appointing electric vehicle repair garages across the US for authorized repairs with parts supplied by Arcimoto. I bought my last gallon of gas 10 years ago. Before the FUV I drove a solar/pedal powered velomobile by Organic Transit - there is a photo of it in my avatar image. For 7 years I paid no car insurance at all, so saving $3000 cash each year towards my Arcimoto was easy. Visit our Facebook groups to learn more. @@danielkingery2894 I don't own a tandem bike. My Arcimoto is an 85 mph 77 hp autocycle with no pedals. Service is available in EV shops if we are too far from the factory. I do some of my own servicing. The Facebook owner groups provide support and resources to each other. Used FUVs are now available in the $12K range.
