I think it's always important to analyze, plan and take action. Makes a lot of sense for this to be applied to living authentic lives as well.

Yeah I get what you mean, I always thought it was just something you did naturally but to think we can actually work on it is pretty cool

Joyel, my love, YOU Matter. What a great talk. Well done! Thank you for holding up a mirror and showing me where in my life I'm armoring up and wearing a wig.

I used to work with a woman who had alopecia and she was the most fantastic woman I've ever known. She was so sassy with it, didn't put up with anyone's BS and would really let you know about it if you'd done something siIIy that created more work for her lol she was the best

I am with you Joyel! I can't even begin to explain all the emotions I felt when I had to shave my head for surgery on the back of my head... It was actually so empowering after the initial shock were off and I wish so very much people could experience that feelings! Thank you for your talk!!

Coming across this today when I feel like I am at the end of my tether.... What a perspective check. Being bald doesn't define us. It's about the strength we carry and the sacrifies we make for our families.
