These men couldn't be more wrong. 😂 Healthy confident women with digity and self esteen don't keep an eye on their ex. They move on and level themselves up. I've had these so called level up men contact me out of the blue now that I am fitter, healthier and successful. This absolutely because it happened to me. Never ever reconnect with a ex man period. Often their motives is either selfish or revenge In my case it’s not that I saw him doing better but enough time had past (few years) when we saw each other again at a mutuals event the friendliness and jovial component that was all too familiar was there. And off to the races- Talking regularly, texting daily, reminiscing all this HE was initiating. Two months and a few - casual dates - and late one evening after an outing together we did the deed. To be clear, was I looking to be smack back into a relationship, no, but to hear after - “Wow it’s not as spectacular as I remembered” and have this man do a complete 180 in personality towards me, iced, cold- as soon as he got what he wanted. Aaa, this is why a few of my ex-es were surprised I didn't accept them back when they returned! They made more money, but I was with them because they were handsome and treated me well ( until they didn't). They knew me so little that they thought their new found success will lure me back. Well, they were older and less beautiful when they returned (40's), but even if they were, you can't forgive and forget how people treated you when you loved them and tried your best. Once a relationship is over for me, him becoming more successfull means nothing for me. I'd rather they constantly treat me well and make decent money, as I do.
