What annoys me is that there were 2 ways 1. Amber knew Mark was a superhero, so why did she get mad at him when he saved her life. 2. Amber didnt know Mark was a superhero, BUT she STILL got mad when she found out that mark saved her life. (And also pulled the "i knew it all along" bs which just makes her even worse of a person) Why does that character exist again?
My love for William shot up during this scene since he recognized his best friend Mark even when he was wearing a mask. That just shows how close those two are
i think she was more mad at the fact mark didn’t trust her enough to tell her despite being together for an extended period of time but that’s not to defend her, mark deserves better anyway
@@issy785She should also be mature enough to understand why he did what he did and the responsibilities that come along with being a literal protecter of earth
No one is going to mention how its sad the Rich drunk Kid got turned into this Doomlike thing and kills himself because of how horrified he is of how he got transformed :(
I'm willing to bet the majority of people know Omniman is Nolan Grayson, but given that he's by far the most powerful being on the planet everyone is smart enough to not talk about it
Millennial writing = modern slang that will age like milk and the overuse of profanity thus losing impact of the word. Really brings the comic/show down.
I like how he wears a mask to cover his eye's, but the scene where William recognizes mark was interesting. seriously think about it, you're know what your best friend looks like right?, if my best friend suddenly showed up even with a mask on, I'll bet i'll recognize him if I got a good close look at him.
@@ivandphantom9028 But wouldn’t the vast majority of people recognize their best friend’s voice? Or really anybody that they meet on a very regular basis?
William being able to recognize his best friend under his mask, because it only covers like 20% of his face is one of the most realistic things ever written in a superhero show.
The mustache would be a giveaway, but I don't actually think nolan was that famous. He was a moderately successful writer, and Debbie was a successful realtor. In the comic where debbie is a housewife theyre home is much more modest
It's a writing error. The creators messed up when making THIS scene and a later scene. when she said "I've known for weeks" they meant for that to be a showcase of how smart she is. But it accidentally just made the previous scene weird. Just. . . Retcon it in your mind or something.
@@Nick-wi3kd what's done is done to her character, she's now just a slimeball. Imo she should just be dropped. She adds little to the story, plot, character developments or really anything. At least will is funny half the time.
@tahrah11 yeah, let's just have a kid reveal his deepest secret to a chick he's been dating all of a few months. He didn't even want to show his best friend, their higher on the pecking order than a gf.
The worst part is that in the comics he is MUCH more successful. I've only read a few chapters so far and he definitely gives his fair of beat-downs. The show makes it seem like he only takes L's lmao
Well not EVERY fight. He DID knockout Titan, Killcannon, Elephant, and the thicc Wolf Faced woman. Plus give him a break he's a newbie and in his defense those Reanimen we're tough as shit. Remember they pounded Omni-man for awhile before he got the upper hand
A lot people seem to be confused on how William is able to recognize Mark even with his mask on but nobody seems to recognize Nolan. Think about it like this; the best way to hide your identity is in plain sight. Omni-Man doesn’t wear a mask and shows his face to the world, that way everyone knows what he looks like and now they have the seed planted that he’s not trying to hide his identity. As far as the world knows, Omni-Man’s real name is Omni-Man and Nolan Grayson is just your average joe that has a striking resemblance to Omni-Man. Furthermore the only people that know his true identity are the people that he’s closest with. Same case goes for William and Mark, since they’re best friends, it would be kind of odd if William didn’t guess it right away once he finally got a good look at Invincible.
I love how William after being save just stared at Invincible thinking then realized it was Mark, I also love how he was a lil upset that Mark didn’t tell him but immediately forgot about it and praised Mark about him being Invincible
Superman: *puts on glasses* Everyone: Hey, Clark. Every super from Incredibles: *puts on a mask that only covers around their eyes* Everyone: I wish I knew who you were under that mask. Invincible: *wears a mask that covers 60% OF HIS FACE* Two of his friends: Mark!? Either everyone from the last two universes is dumber than a brick or Mark's friends have 300 IQ. Both, it's probably both... It's DEFINITELY both.
Funny how in "My Adventures with Superman" Lois quickly figures out Clark's secret. It's easy to fool the public with glasses, clothes, a different hairstyle, etc ... Celebrities do it all the time. Tricking someone who has regular contact with both your identities is simply impossible.
Yeah but Amber yelled at Mark for not protecting her, and later said she knows he is Invincible all along and was angry only because he didn't tell her about his identity. She is full of crap, and the fact that she went to the frat party says it all
Willian has a point, 'bout Mark not telling him (but deciding to tell Amber, who totally knew it for a while, no really guys). The correct response Mark should have had, "You knew I'm busy saving lives/the world, and you're still pissed?! It's dangerous to tell people my real identity! I didn't tell my best friend of X years, and you think you have any right to know after 5 months of dating?! I mean comparatively, I barely know you!"
Mark reminds me of Genos from one punch man. Comes in as this absolute badass but then he gets his ass kicked almost every fight even if he ends up winning 😂😂
It gives me flashbacks to daredevil when the dude killed himself because he revealed fisk and gumball when nicole sees herself as a monster in the mirror. Hurts alot. Even worse in hostel too.
If you think about it,it makes perfect sense. Mark is usually flying high above people or moving around in fight super quick so you don’t get a good chance to look at his face so as soon as someone who actually knew him got a good look it was obvious
whic is exactly what i tried to do but since i started watching the show on 11 march this year i didnt get the time to remove s1 amber from my head therefore this relationship was stretched out imo
i never really understood the whole keeping a secret identity thing, just tell people it would make life a hell of a lot easier, anyone who isnt understanding of the fact that you have responsibilities as a superhero because its literally your job should be cut out anyway.
To keep friends and family safe So people won't annoy you about saving this and saving that So villians won't know So people won't be at your doorstep wanting to know your business + Superheroes can have actual jobs with their secret identity, they don't make money as a superhero yknow. Unless you want fame of course.
1. Clark Kent's Glasses Cannonically hypnotize People 2. Clark slouches, And plays At being Very meek, Decreasing his Body size. 3. They don't Realize Superman Even has A secret Identity, because He doesn't Wear a Mask, and He publicly Stated his Name is Kal-el. Hugh Jackman Lost a Hugh Jackman Look-a-like contest. Similiar story With Dolly Parton.
