@Caeluth I can appreciate that. I think the reason its hard for sport fighter and and street fighters to accept wingtsun is because you never see the technques taught being applied for real. Even Mr boztepes fight with William cheung resulted in a wrestling match with some ground and pound... and these two are masters of the art. Where as in judo boxing thai boxing mma , techniques taught are clearly applied.. so to be fair to the detractors. they just want to see it applied for real.

Unless you're a bully and are the one picking fights with those people. -Same concepts, different techniques. There's a difference between applying a concept and applying a technique. A concept is inherent in any technique; a technique needs to be learned and practiced.
BJJ very often start with that guard - leing at the grond at their backs. Yes is very shitty when is more attackers, but for 1:1 you have good defense.

@ghettoaga first of all I dont want to seem to come across as beind rude or disrespectful to you, point 1 why no wt fighters in mma? thats because its mma and every fighter are training in multiple styles after there own style there are very few pple in mma who rely on 1 style, 2, pple in mma have studied wt to aid there fights like they stuied ju jitsu and other styles, 3, chain punching doesnt work? crap it might not end the fight but it shocks ur opponent and gives u time to move in to finish
@ghettoaga point 4,there are certain rules n mma that mean u cant do certain illegal things in the controlled ring,Wing Chun is designed for the real world with no rules and a lot of wt is no bs nasty stuff, maybee Wing Chun is not designed for use in sport because its first aid for a real combat enviroment basically it can get u out of the shit! and last I respect all other martial arts maybee u should also,try different styles then judge,why have they been arround for 100's of years?they work!
WT/wingchun resembles premature playground girls trying to slap each other than anything. WT Practitioners say WT is the best for selfdefence, period. Pure ignorance. No single approach can be THE BEST in every situation. Only 2 Wing chun stylists have entered UFC and if im not mistaken both got KTFO in under 1min. Wing chun = BS and deep down emin knows it.
