If you ever decided to part with that I'd love to add it to my collection but if you're anything like me there ain't a price tag large enough to let it go. I've seen ads for a few, but only one I've ever seen in person.
Engine Collector i sure will, I found it in my grandpas storage trailer, it has been there since the late 80’s. I installed new fuel lines and diesel and it fired right up. I work for Caterpillar and found it very interesting.
I have 1986 Wisconsin diesel on a generator. Last ran in 2010. I could some helpful advice prepping unit prior to initial cranking & startup. I don’t want to damage it before selling it.
Sorry I Didn't See This Sooner. I Would Pull The Fuel Drain And Filter Clean It Out Well, Drain Oil And Get New Filter, Then You Want To Crank It Over Without Starting It Numerous Times To Prime Both The Fuel And Oil Systems. You Can Put An Oil Pressure Gauge On This Engine To Ensure It's Getting Good Oil Pressure. I Put One on To Test Fire This Engine And Ensure It Was Pumping Oil Correctly Myself.
