I worked in a medical office where elderly people would be assisted by HHA's and so many of them were using the patients medication's instead of distributing the meds to the patients, then the HHA's would try and get the doctor's to fill more pain meds for the patient. These facilities don't do enough background & drug testing on their employees.
I fired 17 who were supposed to help my 90 year old mom. Sometimes I would see who feel asleep first. Her or the aide. They also STAY ON THEIR PHONE. My advise. Document. And sue the agency.
There is a huge difference between a QUALIFIED person who may not be a CNA, and a 17 year old with no real experience. The Defendant may not have expected EVERY person to be a CNA, but I highly doubt she was ok with a bunch of high schoolers coming in to care for her Grandmother. An inexperienced teenager is the last person I would want caring for my loved one on a daily basis.
Anyone knows how to do basic care. You know how to wash your butt, you wash grandma's butt! You eat, she eats! sinple simon! Afraid you'll break a nail? Damn shame! Grandma hang in there❤
If you're a true caregiver, you must have L1MA certification to administer medicine. Otherwise, you could be making some very serious mistakes that could be very costly. Any one in the field knows that.

Especially this one. Young girls. No professional training probably no CPR or classes to help transition patients from chair to bed
