I was raised that when we left the house, we represented my father and that we didn't dare disrespect them or make them look bad. I always took that into my marriage. My mother always worked to keep herself looking good and kept our house clean and cooked. My dad always said he couldn't live his life if he didn't have her doing everything for him. I do the same for my husband. And he makes my life wonderful. He goes to work this so that I can stay home with our kids. I don't understand how these women complain about not wanting to do something for the man they chose to spend the rest of their lives with. No one forced them. Why would you spend the rest of your life with someone that you didn't want to take care of and love? I don't understand

I don't know. Never had a girlfriend who changed a tire on my car, or did a brake job, or changed the spark plugs. Never had a girl who worked construction for 14 hours while I sat at home with the kids. Never had a girl who risked her life for me on a near daily basis to support me. But I have done all of those things for the women in my life. And I did them for decades.

This extends into something subliminally extremely violent in preferential treatment of women at the work place (all in the name of not submitting her): as a boss you then look the jerk if when a woman fails you give her homework to make it good or suggest a new workaround or more user-friendly workflow ensuring she can do the job (she ends up sad and crying). In other words, if she fails, YOU SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED, not her, for not taking up the burden for her that she could not muster. That violence of shame flipping rejecting growing up as adults together is the worst. The only thing women are expected to do at work is to fill the "plantation-roster" of the manager to make him look good on his resume. Basically it is a slippery slope to harem type Hoedom. It gets worse in the military because the job is so brutal there that you look 10 times the jerk for asking her to help. It really is 5th column. And now add to that the trans woke movement and we are in trouble.

I’ve noticed that when I moved into a new neighborhood and was knocking in doors and introducing myself to neighbors, or for any reason like picking the olives off the tree for curing, I’d always ask my wife to come with me and when she does, ALOT more doors open. Especially if you take a few big steps back from the door.

I used to think things like that went without saying. I mean, if anyone criticized a woman I was hanging out with, I defended her. They weren't women who loved me or women I was dating. They weren't interested in me. But anyone criticizing them to my face was questioning my judgement, and I knew they were too foolish to do that. When women didn't treat me well, which was usually, I presumed they weren't saying anything good about me. If they chose to spend their time with me and they didn't speak well of me, weren't they just telling others they were foolish about how they spent their time. I would be pissed off to hear a woman I was with speak of me in a disparaging fashion. I would tell her I didn't like her attitude, and that she disgraced herself more than me. But women who couldn't stand the way I talked avoided me. They were crazy if they put down the person they chose to spend time with. I heard women say disgraceful things to and about their boyfriends all the time. I always wondered what was wrong with them that they chose those guys. Do women still get triggered by that. My mother used to try to get me to pursue women who already had boyfriends. I considered adulterous to attempt to lure someone out of a relationship. My mother said women usually didn't like their boyfriends and were looking for another. I said I didn't want a woman who was so weak and unsure of herself. I used to make my mother insane with feminist rage. It helped get me used to facing female rage and violence, which could happen all too often. I think my mom wanted to train me to fight with women, without hurting them. But their feelings were hurt all the time.

My wife and I have been married for 29 years. 24 of those years, I was in the US Air Force. She has always been my budget officer 😂 who oversaw and paid all our bills while she was working also during my many deployments for 1-2 years working 12-18 hours a day, she got the money. To this day I don’t know if I have $100 in our bank account or $100K in our bank account but I trust her. She is still pays the bills and does research on our financial growth as we got older. It's been my personal experience that women shouldn't drink to excess. Under the influence of alcohol, a woman will act in a very inappropriate manner, coming on too strong to a man. It's not nuanced at all. I was brought up to understand that family business is just that and should never be discussed with anyone outside of the family, i.e., blood relatives.

I may be pissed at my hubby but would never degrade him in public! It looks bad not only on him but on me as well. I may talk to some trusted girlfriend provately but NEVER to a male friend- that is asking for trouble. Grace and etiquette are lost in this generation.

Alex, the ideal woman you speak of is a product of a bygone era. I was raised by my mom in that era and the qualities you speak of are what were instilled in me as to what to expect from a partner as a young man growing up. It's unfortunate that there has been a coarsening of values and morality the world over in the past couple of decades. But as they say about anything of utility these days, "they don't make them like they used to." The same goes for the modern woman.

I think we need to soften this argument so its more palatable to everyone - compromise is the path to moving forward. Men submit to the family too. Its just that our means of submission comes in the form of financial and physical security. Both parents play roles which are NOT FUN to have to live....just be accountable.

Relating to the clip @ 5:38. One time I went on a date w a hot Latina & we were walking through the street. Some muscular asshole guy who was also Latino tried to talk to her as we were walking, telling her to come chill w him(as in to drop me to do so). She technically had no obligation to me, as we were not dating, but she said no & we continued to walk. This made me respect her a lot & made me feel good about myself, as that other guy was bigger & better looking than me. I don’t talk to her anymore & have since got into a relation, but I think of this experience from time to time & wish her well, as she was a very genuine & nice girl.

As an older man, married many years, the idea that women even desire to post their nudity to random men seems simply astounding.
