Wonder Woman 1984 Has a BIG Problem 

I love that beginning when you said superhero disappointed and then it showed The Flash 🤣

This movie was a huge disappointment, the first one was infinitely better then this.

This flim is offensive for movies and comic book adaptation that shows that Patty Jenkins doesn't understand Wonder Woman or her comic book stories.

This is not a defense of this movie, but Barbara's transformation to animal form is not a violation of the 1 wish rule. Note that in the plane Max says something along the lines of "we're just talking here" and makes no attempt to touch Barbara. He just wants to know what she still wants from life out of curiosity and basically says as much. Then when he's processing people's wishes via satellite you can clearly hear him say "I give HER your power" and "I give HER your rage", so he's using his "take what I want as a wish fee" power. Barbara is also already back to human form when she needs to renounce her wish to be like Diana, as the Cheetah power-up didn't come from a wish she made directly. This movie has lots of problems, but Barbara getting a bonus wish isn't one of them.

All Barbara had to do was let her hair down and take her glasses off 😂 . She didn’t even need to wish for attention

To me, one of the biggest issues was the "continuality" from the previous movies trapped this in a box that they tried to walk carefully, but failed. In Justice League, they made it clear that Diana 1. still was carrying a torch for Steve Trevor (so no new love interest) and 2. She never appeared until then. So how do you do a movie in 1984 and explain this? This is what they came up with and it just was a bad story. Diana carrying on about Steve was always a weird idea since he has been dead for 70 years in 1984 and almost 100 in Justice League. But the plot of 1984 would have worked so much better if they did not have to keep the continuality about her being hung up on Steve. If she could have had a new BF or learned to move on from steve, the whole movie would have made more sense. Plus, the things they did to try to give him things to do (like the horrible flying a jet thing) probably would not have been even tried. They felt they "had" to bring him back because of Justice League but how you do that? The whole wishing stone thing. I think the whole plot was made to fit it in the box they were trapped in and it just fell apart.

No no no, the BIGGEST problem of this movie is Wonder Woman *raping* an innocent man, that's is literally what Wonder Woman is against! Patty fucking ruined her character, HOW DA FUQ did WarnerBro's ever aprove of this movie? DO THEY EVEN READ THE SCIPTS?

That and abusing Steve's host body

You didn't address that One of the scrennwriters from WW was asked not to return for WW84 since Patty grew to be power hungry.

"When I first watched the movie, I thought it was fine. However, I then started thinking." I've been like that with a bunch of movies. Spectacle's nice, but when your brain switches on, you realise "Oh wait, that was shit."

9:15, There’s the skeleton of that message in this film, the lines between ambition and sacrifice and how some ambitions or sacrifices are less worthy than others and for everything gained, there is always something lost and how people should be learning to accept that loss rather than constantly searching for ways to fill it. Diana sacrificing a willing Steve earns her the ability to fly, accessing more of her Olympian heritage by letting go of something that kept her tether to mortality. Meanwhile, Barbara sacrifices her compassion and sanity for the power she attains, which not only isolates her, but endangers others. Both people are making sacrifices. Both seek to grow beyond a limitation. But while Diana does so for others, Barbara only seeks to benefit herself. The same goes for Maxwell Lord, as his greed makes him nearly lose his son.
