Explaining Everything in The Marvels in 5 Minutes 

In my opinion you can tell a story in in an hour and 45 minutes the problem here is that Marvel tried to tell the story of what should've been a 2 hour movie minimum 2 hour and 30 minutes maximum in an 1 hour and 45 minutes.

I nominate Iman Vellani take complete creative control over Phase 6 and beyond.

Hearing about this. Truly makes me Smile that I will never suffer through Watching it. Thank you Gio. So much. It just makes me want to make my Own Better Written Captain Marvel 2 Movie. But she's Called Ms. Marvel like she was in the Comics

I went to a party and got drunk before watching this, yet somehow that somehow I STILL fell asleep during the movie. that's how boring it was

im pretty sure the reason its so short is because with people getting tired of the "girl power" trope, they chose to cut it all out instead of fixing it which is why we gota basically nothing

Ngl, I would totally watch an entire movie of Kamala Khan assembling a Young Avengers team to take on some kind of new threat that the other Avengers aren't aware of. Something like the Clandestines from her show. Now THAT would be a great move! Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Shuri, Yelena, and maybe Young Loki and Wanda's sons from an alternate dimension. That would be hype

I agree with the statement about Kamala contemplating her hero after they weren’t allowed to save everyone but it going nowhere after Carol apologized and she was just forgiven that fast. Something I did like about this movie while it was inconsistent sometimes was the first switch fight they had in Kamala’s house. I thought if was pretty cool to to see them having to adapt to the different areas they were fighting in. Also I agree Kamala was the best character in the movie.

Kamala was the second best part of the movie, and the most wasted potential. The best part of the movie was DB’s facial expressions. It was like she was told “make a face like a villain”. Her face muscles acted more than everyone else in the movie.

Captain Marvel didn't know how the switching worked, and assumed she could've just flew there.

Damn Iman’s spine must have snapped like a Kit Kat from carrying this movie.

You left out how there was an entire Skrull colony that the Skrulls in Secret Invasion could've gone to instead of saying that Carol and Fury abandoned them while trying to take over the Earth.

If i want to watch a space adventure of a villain stealing resources from a planet and a group of unlikely heroes teaming up to stop it I'll stick with Spaceballs.

You know what would've been more interesting then the three swapping places? Them swapping powers. Imagine the kid getting the powers of her idol while Carol has to grapple with human limitations she hasn't had in decades.

G. I. Gio, this is a pretty long response, but please, I request you to read it at least once. Dude, I just saw your Flash S9 video (good one) where you said you are going to try to rewrite that whole season. Kudos to that. And if you are still on it, I would like to share the kind of final showdown, I wished we could have seen - When Cobalt Blue introduces his Legion of Zoom, Barry is alone. He tries to fight back using time remnants, lightning constructs, flash time, etc. but since he is up against multiple speedsters powered up by negative speed force, he gets crazy beaten up and is somehow rescued by positive speed force. There, the positive forces will (PLEASE!!!) explain how Eddy called Godspeed (I don't know why but I want to know), a dead speedster (because Reverse flash kinda died in S8), the no-longer Black Flash (he was my personal favourite Flash villain) and a speedster erased from time itself (S3 finale, Savitar's final moments, you get it...) and they give him the pep talk why HE must bring 'Harmony among the Positive and Negative Forces'. When all this is happening in a different dimension, Team Flash is hiding (or trying to hid from Legion of Zoom) and looking for ways to communicate with Barry. There comes our Goddess Khione who says she can power up Cecile's telepathic abilities to help her find Barry. Then, she connects herself with the Sage Force and then the team Flash gets to chance to talk with Barry with a number of problems like rampage of evil speesters around Central City, a time limit for the Fastest Man alive, and Iris's pregnancy (we don't care, we are here for the Flash, but fine...) and even their connections starts getting weaker because of the interruption by the negative forces. Everything is messed up but since Barry can speed think, he finds a way amidst the chaos, and says "Try to protect each other for a little longer, because I going to do something *IMPOSSIBLE*." End of their talk and last second episode. Final episode starts with the same monologue, the timer is nearly up, Eddy is looking for Iris, Thawne and Savitar are trying to find Barry into the speed force, Zoom and Godspeed are menacing around Central City, they suddenly starts feeling the presence of Barry around multiple places in the Central City, like Barry's Lab, his home, Flash Museum, CCPD, etc. and is attended by separate baddies, like RF (Reverse Flash) goes to his lab, Savitar is in the Flash museum, Eddy in in his house, etc. but here's the twist. Like how Barry had seen RF though his office window in S1, RF sees the Flash as well, Savitar sees a breach opening in front of him and remembers the time he tricked Wally into freeing him and when he trapped Wally into the Speed force prison and senses someone coming out of there (I mean the breach, not the prison) and Eddy confronts Barry in his House. He asks Barry whether he is again using time remnants but instead of replying, Barry just masks up and starts running. Eddy chases Barry and on the way, he senses multiple other speesters powered by the positive forces. Now, thet are again at the same place where Eddy called his his Legion of Zoom, but this time, they are up against a sight we fans so dearly wanted.... Villains vs Team Flash - = Cobalt Blue vs The Flash (obviously Barry Allen) = Zoom vs The Flash (the one played by John Wesley Shipp, and since his character was imprisoned by Zoom in S2, so it could have been a pay-back time) = GodSpeed vs Impulse (only because he once said 'Godspeed in my Thawne'. You can pick up any better alternative) = Savitar vs Kid Flash (because Savitar tortured Wally with mind games and even trapped him into the Speed Force Prison in his stead, so pay-back time again) = and Reverse Flash vs The Flash (Please, for the love of God/in the name of Christ, A Flash from the 'freaking' FUTURE, because in all 9 seasons of The Flash, we get to see future Flash only when the current Flash was looking for the ways to defeat Savitar, and instead of being 'the Fastest Man Alive', his future version was 'The Brokest Man Alive' and I mean man with a broken heart. So a badass future version of Flash, against the Reverse Flash. He can even be up against Savitar if you adjust the plot but HAVE HIM IN THE PLOT). Everyone is powered by their respective forces so now, just fight like how speedsters do.... This was my take on how a team against Speedsters should look like, on how 'Speedsters vs Speedsters' should look like, on how the final showdown of 'The Flash' should have looked like... I hope it helps.

The marvel's is Basically superframes pitch for captain marvel 3 but with Dar Been instead of rouge fast forward to the end of his captain marvel 2 pitch and you'll see what I mean

1:37, The fact that Kamala is still so devoted to Carol that she attempts to replicate her ruthless approach by abandoning the next planet they try to save (which Carol hypocritically scolds her for out of late remorse for her own actions repeatedly causing innocent people to suffer) is the main reason why there isn’t a “good” character in this story. Matter of fact Kamala (or anyone) being a much of a fan of Carol makes little logical sense since barely anyone would have actually seen Carol in action on Earth in 1995 or during the Battle Of Earth where no civilians were present and Carol immediately fled directly after. Nevertheless, Iman Vellani’s charisma as an actress compared to each of her co stars made it slightly easier to overlook as at least made Kamala relatively entertaining to watch when she wasn’t fan crushing on Carol (take her horrified and relatable reaction to watching Goose eat people with mouth tentacles as an example). Still though, as fun as Kamala can sometimes be, that doesn’t mean she someone as immature or silly as her should be the one that. assembles the Young Avengers doing a terrible and contrived Nick Fury impression.

I honestly enjoyed it. Ms Marvel just makes anything she is in great, I thought Monica was done well and yeah Carol was done better then she was in the first movie, but yeah could have been better. Yeah sadly until Aquaman comes out, Spiderverse was the best superhero movie this year followed by Guardians.

I just watched the asoka video and it has few of the same problems as the Marvel's Like bad writing,no character development,and many more that I don't remember.

Marvel really needs to change their tactics In order for their films to do better.

This is what Chapek does. He rushes creative people into releasing content ASAP instead of letting them do their job in their own pace. The animation studios, Marvel, Star Wars. Good effing riddance. This and Wish were the last movies that were the closest to completion during his tenure. And yet, while Chapek is an actual piece of shit, Brie Larson is the real target for people to blame at why the movie failed at every turn. I'll get to that in the next paragraphs. The reason I'm gonna see it with no expectations because I'm tired of the whiny ass MSheU haters. "Wah wah! Captain Marvel is the worst Marvel character ever! Die Brie Larson die!" That's what they sound like to me after all these years! Especially when they actually WANT this movie to suck and bomb at the box office instead of hoping it at least improves some of the things the first movie did like I do. And the way Disney has marketed the last trailer has only fed those five year old trolls. Tho, I sound hypocritical considering I wanted The Flash movie to bomb because I didn't want WB to keep that POS even after they reboot the DCEU. But that's the difference. Brie Larson hasn't done anything wrong. Her words were taken out of context and seems to have an awkward personality and I can understand how that can rub people the wrong way. I don't have the mental capacity to explain it further and would rather recommend watching the second part of CinemaWins' Captain Marvel video where he gives the movie fair criticism while also examining why people hate her so much. The Captain Marvel franchise inside of the MCU feels cursed at this point. And that sucks because I like all three female leads. Yes, even Carol, assholes. Sorry if this comment is too long for you to read. I don't expect anyone to read it.

I like this Unique Change of Pace and I do hope that this could be a Full Review when you feel like it Ofcourse, I saw this Movie in Spanish with my Father and while I understand the Language perfectly like Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 3, all I see is a Movie that is made by Writers that were as High as making She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and the Flash(Both Movie and the Wallace Era), Dar-Ben is just a Genderbend Version of a Forgotten Comic Character that could’ve been great if it was made by a Different Actor and no I don’t care that it was played by Tom Hiddenson’s Wife, Carol and Monica were so Boring I rather rewatch Blitzo’s Preformances in Helluva Boss than watch them “Act”, Kamala was Fine but it concerns me how the Young Avengers would play out, Nick Fury has Lost his Goddamn Mind, the Kitty Cats were like Desert made so that later it would feel like a Gutpunch, the Musical made my Ears Bleed, and the Beast Cameo is Good but it’s a Distraction from this Terrible Movie that took so many notes from Taika Watiti, I just have to say it but I wish Marvel Studios started with Mar-Vell and Carol as Ms.Marvel than to Rush 2 of the most Important Marvel Characters with Challenges that the MCU would never explore, this is a Hell of a Disappointment, Thanks for the Short Video G.I Gio, both this and seeing Movie Shadow’s Shoes were great Unexpected Birthday Gifts for Me.

Its weird saying that everything in the movie was under-developed because like 60% of the movie was spending time on developing with the characters.

Truly the only one that did their best was Iman Vellani and that’s saying something for a 21 year old Canadian actress of Indian descent

I haven’t even seen this movie, but I already knew it would be a disaster in both storytelling and box office numbers. Marvel Studios has doomed themselves at this point and I’m not excited for future Avengers movies. The most safe option right now is to just pull the plug on the MCU and salvage something so a different company can make something good out of it.

One word to describe the Marvels: pathetic. Seriously, it's a movie that is a microcosm of everything wrong with the modern MCU. Horribly edited, plot holes the size of the grand canyon and characterization and writing that is downright insulting. Only sliver lining is Iman Velani's performance. I didn't think her character was good but you can tell she was trying(same with Ms. Marvel) and she seems to be a good sport in this. For me, the worst part about this movie was Carol restarting a sun. WTF. Beyond just adding the fact she can absorb energy(I know the comics did this but the first film did NOT establish this), there's zero to no risk in her doing so. I was rewatching Disney Hercules and the one scene that stood out was Hercules saving Meg from Hades well of souls while his lifeforce was being sucked out. The message of that movie being that the strength of a hero does not come from their muscles but from their heart/ willingness to do the right thing. Imagine if Carol was at risk of dying and she had to weight that with wanting to do good across the galaxy? It could have made it a lot better. Also, the villain sucked. One of the worst MCU films since Kang. Rita Repulsa has more dignity than Darth Ben. All in all, it's a movie that indicates everything wrong with the modern MCU. There's a reason why it flopped and it wasn't because of mysognists or sexists or any of those colorful accusations. It's because people are fed up. They are fed up with subpar writing. Fed up over really badly inserted political agenda/ messages. Fed up with a universe that tells you that you need to watch other series, and being slapped when those series don't connect. The modern MCU is dead. It was dying on the vine with Multiverse of Madness but this film killed it creatively. And that makes me sad. Rant over.

I love how every review of this movie is "everything sucks except for Ms Marvel". And they're right, everything did kinda suck except for Ms Marvel 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The film is a mess because it focused more on pushing certain messages than actually telling a compelling story. (Stealing planetary resources was the plot of Spaceballs for crying out loud!) The director even wrote much of the script, which means that there was obvious, personal bias on what was said, and how each scene played out. It's garbage, and has been forcefully transformed into the M-She-U.
