Awesome help in getting the boiler going again ... we had a corroded flame sensor which after a clean up the boiler fired immediately. Very happy

Hi Tony, thank you for the video.. it seems I have the same problem with my CDI 30 . The heat exchanger is leaking must have been happening for a while but no one noticed it till now. Just need your honest opinion please . Is it worthwhile replacing the heat exchanger? I was thinking of getting it replaced with refurbished one for the time being. Is it worthwhile??

Well its the heart of the boiler once replaced the boiler could run for years and its cheaper than a new boiler.

Hi today the plumber came out as I had water leaking from same boiler from expansion vessel and the pressure was going up and down. so today he changed that and the relief valve. after he chaged item the boiler has a error code EA and reset does not resolve this. why would a could like this come.up after repair of a boiler which was working but not to it 100% with no error code? btw boiler is in roof

If the boiler is still loosing pressure after that it could be the main heat exchanger

@@BoilerrepairNet the pressure is fine. the issue is now showing ea code and the flame is going on off while it starting up. this only happens after changing the parts

@@jayashpatel6165 I have the same issue. WB changed out the heat exchanger yesterday. It worked fine for the full day. However, this morning I have an EA code. I've tried resetting about 3 times. The condensate pipe seems OK and blockage free. All help and advice appreciated.

@@peterdunne8440 hi it could be many errors but for me it was the gas ratio needed retuneing. so if you know a gas man who can do that then try that.

@@jayashpatel6165 Thanks. The issue for me was a loose electrode connection to ignite the gas. WB came back out yesterday to replace. Have to say, they have been first class in response time and overall service. Maybe a different story had it been in the depths of winter. The call out technician showed me how, with even just a slight push of the electrode casing plate, the gas would fire up. Cheers
