He is definitively doing it on purpose, as he knows his loyal and very observant viewers will arrest him the second he says it!. Which is probably also why WG made him a captain in WoWs, that can't keep from saying they've sunk a battleship, when it was a meager destroyer!.

@Cpl. Rook Made my own mistake, misquoted, though now corrected. Though as for Rommel knowing of De Gaulle, I'd be surprised if he hadn't when De Gaulle moved his government in exile from London to Algiers in May 1943 and what he was doing to direct French colonial forces. Then again, Rommel had left for Germany 2 months prior, whether he kept tabs on the previous theater he was in and what information he did receive, that I can't say.

2:10 "she doesn't have a turtleback" yes she does, it's angle is just different.^^ it's angle is more shallow which means it doesn't reach deep below the waterline like for example on the bismark. If you turn in towards the enemy, the turtleback is lifted above the water line and the flat citadel armor below is exposed to the enemy. That's how the thing (and the FDG, because the pommern uses the FDG hull) sometimes eats broadside citadel hits. So long as you time your turns right, that thing will not eat cits just like any other high tier german ship.

It literally sounds like a design flaw, not enough armour crammed into the hull to get the citadel below the waterline. But the Germans would never have had that problem, rather they would be scooping water out of the gun turrets with bucket gangs.

Both wars they crammed their battleships with extra armour, sacrificed speeds, selected smaller weapons and still ended up overweight which affected sea keeping. Water washing over the deck in even modest seas inspired the Atlantic Bow. This helped matters but German battleships still struggled in conditions worse than a gentle rolling sea. American and British battleships had highly variable qualifies, some didn't like the high seas, others were quite comfortable in any condition bar a howling storm. Admittedly the Iowa class discovered that knife like bows were fast, but tended to slice down INTO waves in storms. Oops.

Even with the Atlantic bow, Scharnhorst was out for months at a time after every single sortie due to flooding in the bow.

What I learned from this video: My Bismarck is defective and is short a gun, my Pommern was built with a turtleback by mistake, and the word "triple" actually means 4. Good game, good result despite some misplays here and there. My experience with Pommern has been that a full secondary build is only worth it in extremely rare situations and I have since gone to a survivability/main battery build with much better results.

Scott Kenny well over half the player base play like potatoes. Matches average around 12 minutes and it’s always one sided.

@@moetasembellakhalifa3452 , Pommern (Pommerania in English) is a region in Germany. Basically, it is no different than a US cruiser being named Alaska. (Edit) To be fair, the region extends into Poland as well. It is the part of Germany and Poland that borders the Baltic Sea.

There are times when manual secondary skill isn’t worth it. If he didn’t have that skill he would have, a couple of times, been shooting his secondaries from both sides on targets.

They play this game for years and still have no clue how to play it, they just play for fun. Well, congrats on your first Kraken ever, I made around 120 in a year, and I didn't play for 4 months now.

As a Worcester owner, you won't stop a CV from getting a drop off unless you're 1) already sailing away from the planes, and 2) have the planes pass over you at least once so they have to double back before striking, which gives you enough time to clean them out. A CV player who catches you at any other time WILL get their drop off, regardless of your AA. As for the Halland, the only reason the Halland does better than the Worcester is because the low concealment all but guarantees that the CV will overshoot you the first time, giving you ample time to DFAA and wipe their planes.

derek96720 as the owner of both a Wooster and three of the 4 T10 carriers, You won’t stop a determined CV from getting a strike off, if by ‘determined’ you mean “determined to become combat ineffective at the start” Because at T10, plane rearming times are well over a minute and a half per aircraft. So using the Midway as an example, if in your determination to get a torpedo strike off on a Wooster, you lose 6 of your 9 TB’s, that’s about 9 minutes to replace those aircraft, close to half the battle. As for the y’all and, I’m convinced that the damage numbers shown on its stat cards are wrong, because every time I’ve run up against one, even a Halland that’s already spotted, I lose the whole squad, only exceptions would be the occasional strike with either the Audacious’s attack planes, or Midway’s dive bombers, and I’ll still lose 3/4 or more of the squad

@@lordsylph414 your anecdote doesn't discount mine. I've had tier X cvs drop me in the Worcester even when DFAA on. I've also dropped on Worcesters with my Midway. It might be tougher than dropping on regular ships, but it's not uncommon.

@@lordsylph414 ya, that happens when you catch every flak cloud on your way in..... there are enough videos about a T8 carrier flying right through Des Moines, Worcester and Minotaur to hit a Halland behind them for 20%+ of it's max health. One of the goals of the carrier rework was to remove the skill requirement for carriers, so that a good carrier player can no longer completely shut out a bad one. But like every other aspect of the rework that naturally failed. Only things that changed are 1: even the worst carrier player can now safel get at least 1 strike off against most targets since AA is mostly useless 2: a good carrier player can now completely farm anyone for the full 20minutes of a match since AA does nothing and the lack of actual fighters means a carrier cant defend his team anymore

orztaku ok, so how does one avoid a Halland’s flak clouds? It puts out 8 a salvo, and pumps out a salvo every second, even using the tight turning American strike planes, you can’t avoid them. And if you linger at low speed you’ll just get shredded in seconds. Yeah the rework sucked ass, but AA is far from useless

2:10 the Pommern HAS a turtle back, it shares the same hull as the FdG. The issue with both ships is that the turtle back doesn't extent particularly low under the water line and that leaves it extra vulnerable to getting citadeled when turning into incoming shells. Also if shot from an angle from the front, when the Pommern tryes to angle, you can still hit the frontal bulkhead of the citadel and not need to go trough a turtle back.

Let's all take time to appreciate that Jingles, knowing we love catching him in obvious goofs and mistakes, will always be sure to drop 2-3 in EVERY single video so that we have the drive to watch to comment and feel like we helped. Looks like a YOLO out of frustration that his whole team was hiding in the corner, so he lead a charge that actually changed a loss into a win. Not sure if that was the plan, but it certainly worked. No win is ever guaranteed half way into the match. Lesson for the red team there.

Ah yes "damage saturation". It sounds nice and reasonable but then you need to remember that even saturated you still take 10% of possible damage, the insane DPM of most of the HE spammers is more than enough to make up for for the damage drop off and also don't forget that fires do flat percentage to HP damage unaffected by saturation.

Hi Jingles, love your replays, but would like to see one or two that you have played in now and then, I have played for the last 4 years and now I have reached an age "over 65" have dropped into coop side of the game, heck of a lot of grinding to get any ware ? but still enjoy the game... I how ever do look forward to Elite Wednesday's to see where you have been , and I see what you mean about that unsettling music of the last site, to be honest I did bottle it, and now wait for tomorrow's release to see what you get up to, and may revisit after I have viewed it "maybe" keep up the good work young one...

Most folks don't know about the Bismarck's 9th naval rifle, it's bolted directly to the top of the smokestack. It was considered extremely efficient as the sausages it chucks cook themselves before being lobbed. Gotta give it to them Germans for their ingenuity. The British outta be ashamed for sinking her, 30 tons of sauerkraut and lederhosen lost to the depths.

Imagine actually having been there! haha i couldnt believe what was happening, i was trying so hard to die, but not a soul would oblige me. by the end of it i had one of my greatest games, purely by accident. Its near comedic, i just had to send it in lmao

Flambass a few days ago in his own words had a "not the best" match in the Pommern that netted 282k dmg; which turned out to be 2nd on the NA/EU/RU server and 1st on Asia server. So well played overall here Panzer.

Congrats Panz3r! He has a mere 250 games under his belt, mostly with Premium Ships. An advice somebody gave me when I had 500 games and played 'questionable' at Tier 9: go back to lower tiers and grind your way up through some tech-trees so learn the ropes. This way you learn the game mechanics thoroughly. :D
