I understand wanting to use the drives separately, I would probably do that as well if I had a switcher. I also put my volume after drives, we already have the one before drives in the knob on the guitar, ha!
I felt like I was under utilizing my dd200 bc I mostly use it on Tera echo with the warp feature routed to an fs7 and I felt bad I wasn’t doing all the presets and shit but here this dude using it for tape delay only so damn I’m chilling
You have a good selection of guitars, it might be cool and super helpful to do back to back comparisons of what each sounds like through your rig as you play song riffs on each one, kinda like you did for the 3 UAFX amps, it with your guitars!

Question: what have you found to be the most help when cutting the cables to length without having much excess? I haven't really found anything online to answer this question and I really want to have a clean board when I'm done putting it all together.
Hey thanks for watching! I just cut them a bit longer than I think they will need to go, then I put one end on and then do a test layout with it. I route it through everywhere I think it will go all the way to the next input jack, then I cut it at a little extra length for some slack and then solder that end on. Usually that gets it close enough where I can zip it down.
Love the idea to mod the POG for MIDI. I wish more pedals that size came with MIDI controllability, like the Slotva. How much does it cost to mod a pedal like that if I may ask, or how should I search for one? Cool board all the way around btw sounds ace
Hi James, it was matthews effects that modded it for me. It was 120 bucks for them to mod my pog I believe. To search for mods I would just Google the pedal and then the word midi mod at the end and see what comes up. That’s how I found the pog mod. Thanks for watching!
What are those actual Ruby settings with the Gretsch?? I see you have the preset footswtich toggled which means maybe what the knobs show aren't what they are actually set at.
Hey there! Yes you are correct those are not the settings your are hearing in that video. Where do you have mix and decay set on the Revelation for your settings. I'm mostly a bedroom player these days so it's hard to know how much is too much for a small and medium setting in the context of a band!
Hi bill sorry I somehow missed this. I set my mix anywhere from 9 o clock to 12 depending how lush I want it. The same with decay depending on how long I want my trails. I usually count seconds and get my decay to stop at the exact amount of seconds I want my trail to last. Usually 1-2 seconds for a short trail. 3 seconds or so for medium. 5 seconds or more for long trails hope that helps!

Heyo, that's actually the sound I am going for, I like to slam my amps with modulation and delay on my higher gain pedals head first so it creates this perfect storm scenario. I want it to be gnarly and have the speaker contort and fizz out on the end trails.
Hey man, I just wanted the classic traditional gretsch sound, the Broadkaster is an amazing guitar the only thing I didn't jive with is they are using a different type of filtertron called the broadtron, it has more mids and sounds more like a paf which is kewl if your fine with that but just know it's not the original sound that gretsch's are known for such as the white falcons or country gentleman's

They are both equally awesome, I would personally get the ruby first because AC30 is my favorite amp. The dream is the more versatile one probably a tad easier to get good sounds out of. If you like fender amps then I would get the dream first.
So you use the Canvas...Apparently if you are on the brilliant channel on Ruby there is a phase inversion. If you are running that way, how to you handle that?
Good question! I am using the good wood audio output tx. I have it mounted under my board I use it for phase swapping and summing to mono if I ever need to. I plan on doing a video on phasing and how to fix it as well.
Thanks! I run the dry knob all the way up, then I set the octave up knob to right around where it starts to sound equal level with the dry without getting to harsh or over bearing. I then set the sub to be in the same knob position as the octave up but then take it down about 5% so the octave is louder than the sub but the sub is still there to give it some lower presence in the background. Depending on the guitar the octave will usually be around 1' 0 or as low as 11 clock and the sub around noon to about 10, dry is always maxed
Hey man, the mastermind is 799 brand new I think he raised the price due to inflation because I feel like I paid 699. To run the amps in stereo I just do the left output of my last stereo pedal into the input of one of the amps and then the right output of that last stereo pedal into the input of the other amp. You could also run stereo with just one of them.
I have tried it once but I didn’t prefer it for my style it was too clean. I like to cram my amps with reverb and delay so they create this perfect storm of chaos and crackling when I play hard.
Good question, It depends how the amps are set. If they are low on headroom it just gets more gainy without much of a volume boost. If the amp is still cleanish it does add a bit of a volume boost as well as more gain.

yeah so im just splitting my last stereo effect which is my jet reverb into the goodwood audio output tx. I then have one output side of the TX going into the mono input on the Dream, and the other output side of the TX going into the Ruby. The Ruby and Dream are then each going into the Walrus audio canvas. The reason I have the Output TX is because it can swap the phase since the ruby and dream are out of phase if you run them together, this is something I completely forgot to mention in this video. Once I get the next 2 universal audio videos out I will post another one with more detail on how I am running 2 of them in stereo and I will go over all of this.
Hi Erick, not gonna lie it does go out of tune some, I play a super light string gauge 9-42. When I used to play with 11 gauge strings I didn’t really have any tuning issues. It also helps to grease nut and saddles with graphite or with music nomad tune-it lube. I haven’t found a permanent fix for guitars with bigsbys they seem to struggle the most with it.
@@erickdiaz6152 Rhett Shull did a RU-vid video on different gauge strings and found the lighter strings seems to have a more open top end, and they are easier to play on imo. I found it to be true when I switched over, so far I’m loving them.
Definitely not the best, but a decent one! I have noticed that the best guitar players in worship bands are getting away from the usual: Tube Screamers, Strymon pedals, Helix and the like. That's inspired me to get away from the usual as well so I built a pedalboard built of random things that I thought nobody from my church would think to play of, the results were staggering in a great way and left many puzzled.
Hey man, I do get paid at my main church, I'm the music director. The other churches I just go for free and they aren't every week but it's just a great way for me to hang out with friends so I enjoy doing it.
Haha great question, a guitar that you play praise and worship style music with. Really any guitar can be in my opinion. I just phrased it kind of weird, still figuring out this whole RU-vid video naming thing.
As a born again Christian and a long time guitar player I have to say I don't get this whole worship music thing. I find modern Christian music bland and boring with nothing musical to offer, no interesting lyrics, and uninspirational. Sorry, but I find the whole genre insipid. Playing and singing for God is great, but this whole scene is ridiculous with people finding God through emotions with waving hands in the air instead of the words in the Bible.
@@TeleCaster66 Firstly, a “born again Christian” wouldn’t judge on how someone comes to Christ. Secondly, You don’t know what they study outside a worship service. Their biblical knowledge and intimacy with Christ may be superior to yours. Lastly, if you find the music “bland and boring” then why were you here watching this video?

EDIT: OH and having an opinion on styles of worship you do and don't like is totally OK!! However, judging another church/person for their music and what works for them and their people is NOT OK.
Well first I would argue that atheism isnt a genre of music worship is. Sooo it's no different than me saying a ragay pedal board or a progressive rock pedal board. This pedalboard is setup to sound like the worship music genre.

Blues, Roots Rock n Roll, Swing, Nashville etc. I'm putting together a new pedal board right now -- I can set it the way I want depending on what I'm playing. In a general sense I would say that's the universal approach. But if you can make the case that there's a distinctive sound associated with "Worship" music. I'm willing to listen. But from what I've heard -- the effects used in Worship music is as varied as the musicians who play it
