If you got hit with a BB in the hand head where ever just roll with the punches. And be an adult What other things in airsoft should be changed? Like only one gun not two guns What can make the game better and more enjoyable for those who are getting into it and do it once in while?
One time I was out airsofting with 3 other squadmates and we were guarding an objective inside a room. When we saw a blur at the doorway all three of us snapped our aim towards the enemy player only to find out it was our FOURTH squadmate running from spawn. All three of our BBs connected to his nuts. On an unrelated note, he had to get surgery for testicular torsion a few weeks after that. Obviously we didn’t cause it but we joked about how we shot his nuts off
That hurts just thinking about it because no joke the exact same thing happened to me and yes I mean that last part too it hurt like hell, but I'm in a wheelchair so at least I didn't give anyone the pleasure of seeing me hit the ground. 😂
@@BusterBuizel Nah just fucking around at a friend's property, lol don't know why I'm joking around about it but at least I had fun before I lost my left nut.
oh boy. Its a tie between the 500 fps magnum revolver at 2 ft range to the mesh gap or the 400 fps GBB mp7 also at 2 feet that blew off my index fingernail. Clean off for a few months. Wear gloves people!
@@USAirsoft Yeah I couldn’t play on my PC for about a week because of the pain. Also almost broke my MP5 because I was peeling a window when it happened and dropped it about a story. Summer grass saves lives.
I have two experienced that stand out to me. The first was at Ballahack's Z1 event when I was a zombie and got shot straight on the tip of my finger as I was reaching towards a player to get his flags. I was wearing gloves and it still hurt like heck. The second was a standard game day where I took an illegal 500fps HPA lmg to the knuckle and actually cause it to bleed. Thankfully many players reported the dude and he was swiftly kicked off the field and banned for a year.
I had my very first game yesterday and a person playing got hit in the finger (With no gloves, he said he forgot them) and started to bleed like crazy.
The literal first 2 things I bought when wanting to start airsoft were those gloves with the rubber and a face mask. Just from hearing from videos that you can lose teeth and that any hit on your hand really hurts.
Once when my brother was like 6 he had a pump shotgun and one day he didn’t check if the damn thing was loaded and almost shot me in the eye. Less than a centimeter higher and I’d be blind in one eye that thing was no joke.
Playing Hostage on defense and my team decides to stay back with the hostage while I go out and get some early information, we should’ve planned a secret knock because when I opened the door to the hostage room back up i was hit directly under my right thumbs nail. Left a circular bruise that stung like a bitch for about 2-3 weeks and when I finally got the cruise gone I had a crater in my thumb for an extra week or so
Most dangerous hit I've taken was one to the ear. A kid entered in from my right just feet away and shot me right in the ear. At first it just felt like a stinger, but I noticed blood as I walked back to spawn. After the match, I noticed everything felt muffled in my right ear. Checked my ear and felt a bb rolling around in my ear canal!!! Was too big to roll out freely, and I had to massage my ear to get it to fall out. Was funny because one of the regulars walked over with a massive flathead, and I was like, "I got it out! No thanks!" But I was really lucky to not have my ear shot out and suffer no hearing loss. I've taken a good nick to the teeth. Had a tooth shot out playing in the woods with my neighborhood friends. All we had were the cheap Crossman spring guns at the time, and my brother took a shot at me that perfectly caught a gust of wind and went from missing me by several feet to nailing my right on my left lateral incisor turning it to dust. We were wearing safety glasses, but after that it was all full masks for us playing in the woods. Out of all the "non permanent" injury related spots to get shot, my favorite is the tendons around the knee. If you're not wearing knee pads, one good lick to a tendon will have you sitting on the ground unable to walk for a solid minute. Have had it happen a couple of times, once with no pads, once when my pad came just loose enough where when I crouched, it would left just a big enough gap for a sniper to take me out. Called my hit and then sat there for a few good minutes until I could limp back to spawn. A few more minutes, and I was back at it though.
I’m lucky to not be able to encounter this situation as I wear an Earmor comms headset…also saves my ears being blown out by pyro too. I’d recommend getting something like that
My worst experience wasn’t actually getting shot, I had to go prone to shoot through a gap in a wall and doing so I ended up annihilating the tip of my wobbly bits on a bb that was just laying on the floor. It hurt for a solid 42 hours after that but at least I got the kill
I remember I was at an indoor field, my brother was on the other team and we made an agreement to go into the middle house every time against each other. Very first time I walked in the house, I met him in the middle; I shot him in the neck, and he shot me in the pointer finger. That was probably the worst pain I've ever felt in the last 5 years, it was actually so bad.
My friends and I would play in the woods where we created our own environment running through the two neighboring apartment complexes. We were playing domination and me and my teammates split to separate hills to defend objectives A and B from two different angles. We began taking contact and engaged in combat. Just moments into our engagement, one of my teammates was shot in one of his "bolts" and his "rod" almost at the same time. Moments after a hit the enemy and his and two of his teammates I got hit 3 times each 1 inch away from my left eye.
For me the most painful shots are the thighs. Even when I get hit in like the hand the pain is gone after a couple seconds, but whenever I get hit in the thigh it hurts for like 30 seconds. I believe the reason for this is that I’m diabetic and use my thighs as my injection site for my pump.
I saw a guy in an outdoor match catch one in the ear... he called for assistance as he thought he was bleeding. Turns out the bb had bounced and got lodged inside his ear! During an indoor game I got caught unaware by a guy hiding in a closest I didn't bother to check... and took a gas powered shotgun 5 round burst to the side of my neck from about 3 feet.... The guy had all the time in the world to take the shot, and I had a helmet and a carrier and padded sleeves... but he decided on the neck...
Here’s something to back up wearing gloves: I was at a game. Teammate was in front of a small building. A guy on the other team was around the corner. The guy on the other team started blind firing. Hit my teammate on the hand from maybe 4-5 feet away. No gloves. Teammate said there was a blood blister or something. The thing is, he had gloves. He just took them off because they got wet while we were crossing a stream.
I’ve only been airsofting twice. This doesn’t mean I haven’t taken a lot of hits though. One of my worst was when I got shot in the shoulder blade. Long story short, I was in tears for the next 3 minutes
went airsofting for the first time ever last weekend, got hit twice in the neck, one was from a nice powerful DMR. Honestly not that bad, 10/10 will play again
Pretty much my first experience, got full autod from like 3-4 feet with a 470 fps g36 that was super hopped up, at least 5-6 shots right in my nuts as I say behind a tree reloading. I got my revenge with my buddies h8r revolver with 450 or so fps to the back of his head from like 5 feet or so. He turned around and shot some random guy then everybody just opened up on him for shooting their friend while we were walking to a new area. Good stuff
Keep making great content I was this channel when it started out small and now it’s booming like it should. i learned so much about the game and the honor of it
Thanks for your video’s, never played but looking to go out in a couple of weeks to see what it’s all about. Some great reasons here to make sure you have the right gear! Thanks again.
as big guy i've been hit in the soft sides, back of the legs, butt, face, forehead, pp but defenetly the worst i've had is pyro milsim grenade directly to my PP and in my infinite ignorance and rage fit i picked that grenade and throw it again still not knowing it was a grenade until i heard the characteristic boom.
I love when people say “airsoft doesn’t hurt, paintball is way scarier”, its the dumbest myth, especially since the potential to get hurt is so much greater. Aside from the insane maneuvering you’ll find yourself doing across make-shift fields made of literal garbage, Its so common for people to sneak high powered gas rifles into indoor ranges and trick the chrono by using drained carts. You will be pulling bbs out of your skin with tweezers if they travel above 500 fps, some guns send them out at 700. There is something about airsoft that attracts sociopaths. (Not hard to see how)
Oh yeah after playing paintball for a hot minute I can confirm, airsoft hurts way fucking more. I've been shot bare skin by paintballs to the forearms twice, once drawing blood and it barely hurt. Took one airsoft BB to the knuckle once WITH gloves on and it was easily the most painful shot I've experienced. And I've been shot in the hands and the nuts with paintball.
One time i got blasted by an HPA dude in the palm of the hand (detail: i was dead and signaling to go back to spawn), i was using fairly thick gloves but, man, it was painful as hell even with gloves on, if i played with clean hands it could be 10x worse. That day i understood why old players always tell you to not leave any part of your body exposed. Cheers from Brazil ✌🏻
The old ones are so right... just a thin layer of fabric can save you some pain and you rarely get any injuries besides some red marks and a bump here and there. As long as you can still feel the bb's it's only a good thing to be all covered. Not a fan of those semi-juggernaut outfits with huge neck & shoulder foam-paddings. Those guys can't feel their hits. If you wanna play airsoft you gotta be prepared to take the pain that comes with it. ;-)
I got full-autoed on the inside of the thigh at a back yard game. I was probably less than 50ft away from the shooter. My first airsoft hit was the chin from a springer pistol. Also desert fox airsoft sometimes uses just a mouth size mask under a neck gaiter
I met a guy a couple days ago at airsoft and he is blind in his right eye because he wasnt wearing full seal goggles and YES wear lose clothing! I almost got shot in "the stem" and "the berries" but because of loose clothing I only felt the pants lightly tapping my thighs.
The most relatable video on the channel. Nice to see your channel and career grow scott, as I remember the old weapon countdowns in the beginning. :) Keep being yourself! That's what we tune in for!
Once I was hit in the fore head without goggles on from a 350 fps aeg the only reason I had my googles was because it was the safe zone but my cousin didn’t know that and it was my second game of airsoft ever, serious hits aside a ass shot with have me dancing around for a little
Most painful BB that I took was a 0.2 gram BB moving at 360FPS shot from 8 feet away that hit my middle finger's knuckle(the one closest to the nail), I didn't have my gloves on because I borrowed them to a first-timer that didn't have gloves. My man made absolutely sure that he wouldn't get middle-fingered(This was a joke, the field strictly forbids that, and I never do that)...
One time I was walking back to spawn after I died, and then I got caught in the middle of two snipers battling eachother to the death and I got sniped in the finger nail
First things first, I tried paintball just before I got into airsoft so I knew, just on taking hits to the hand and mostly lower body, that nothing covering my mouth was a death sentence. That said, I’ve been hit in all the areas, besides the teeth, listed in the video while playing airsoft without the correct armor in some cases; and after eight years, I can say that my two WORST spots to get hit in are my sternum and tail bone. I’m a decently muscular dude but also very lean at the same time cuz I swim and run a lot. Even with that tho, both bones are slightly exposed in that they are visible if I wasn’t wearing clothes like a skinny individual at the pool when they bend over and u can see their spine (not trying to bully skinny people here, just saying it’s a physical feature y’all have😀). With all that out of the way, the first time I got hit in the sternum hurt A LOT and left a red mark for about a week after the fact. That first hit is why I bought a plate carrier the next day and I refuse to wear chest rigs cuz I’m terrified of ever getting hit in that spot again. The first time I got hit in the tail bone wasn’t quite as bad but still hurt A F***ING SH*T TON and left a week long spot on it afterwards. After that first hit to the tail bone. I attached 2 Molle double mag pouches together and put em’ on the back of my plate carrier so it dangles down in front of my tail bone. Man that setup has saved me SOOO many times since then. Even as you said in the video tho, with all the physically painful experiences I’ve had over the years in airsoft. It still will not deter me from getting back up and hittin’ it again. It’s just so much fun and the friends I’ve made are so awesome that the pain is nothing more then a good Segway into some hilarious moments on the field and good laughs at McDonald’s after a day of play🤣🤣🤣
I remember one time I was at Fort Ord (now closed, unfortunately). The two teams were kinda just bunkering down, neither would try to make a strong push. So I got a small group, like about 6 people, to help push up the left side. I took off my vest, just using a battle belt, and 2 mags of ammo and said "just run and take this building.". 3 covered and the other 3 and myself charged. As I was running I got hit both on the tip of my finger and the junk. I did get one person tho who didn't expect us to charge but I was at respawn for a couple minutes
for groin protection id also recommend the actual groin protectors/groin pouch, ever since i started playing jug, they always aimed for it so i counterd it with a kevlar groin protector and never had the problem since
Can agree with an ear hit. Had a private paintball scrimmage with my buddies, and one of the balls broke directly over my ear, causing a solid 3 minutes of deaf ringing and a little light headed after running so much. Not fun.
The ONLY time I was "hurt" by a bb, was in freaking winter in the ear, at almost point blank (like, less than 5m) from a sniper. Note, that on that terrain, there's no limit (except the legal one, of course) to the power of an airsoft replica (where I live, airsoft isn't recognized as a sport, so there's no "league" or something to regulate the sport, the only limit is when the law says it's now an airgun), so even though I didn't asked the guy, I know it was way more than 450fps. So I had to get out of the field (luckily, it was a roughly 10/15m walk) to remove my original belgian army Shuberth M92 helmet to "breathe" a bit before going back in the game, and yeah, that hurt a lot, but as it wasn't voluntarily done and the guy immediately apologized, I didn't really care. I learned only at the "lunch pause" that my ear bled xD
But I mean, I'm also the kind of guy who will go with the infantry for a day, with both feet broken (or more precisely, it was ""stress fractures", I don't know the english word for it, and I don't think Google is good with medical words, but eh) thus not being able to lay my feet flat on the ground, so I was always "tip-toe"ing it, or go on a 30km walk in the Ardennes (aka not the flattest terain you could imagine) each day for 3 days while using new ABL boots that literally created 3 blisters that exploded so hard they bled on the first day, so... I have a pretty high level of pain tolerance I think
The worst hit I ever took was right on the scar of my appendectomy. The removal had been several years ago, but the scar was unfortunately very sensitive! For me it was even more painful than getting hit in the crown-jewelery! Also really painful was a hit right on the jaw-bone unly a few millimeters below my facemask... It popped oben just like a freakin pimple and I felt it the entire day. But if you use proper gear and protection as helmets/gloves and such, it's quite a safe sport! Enjoy your games, keep it classy and call your hits!
I've played paintball a few times and I've been hit in the hands a few times. It hurt so bad. For airsoft, the worst spot that I've been hit is the inner thighs and lower back. It hurts so bad.
One nasty spot to mention is the temple.. Took a wicked hit at ice breaker six in Ontario that sent wild pain through my jaw. Honestly the most surprisingly painful hit to date for me.
i remember that dude in suit playing with a tommy gun like a mobster that did not wear a lower face protection because it was not in line with his style. we told him "you sure you don't want a face mask we can lend you one for free", guy was sure and told us he did not need one. he lost his two front 2 teeth that day and thing is no one was aiming for the face he just happend to pop his face at a window and got shot strait in the two front teeth. and that was it that dude got out the field strait to a dentist after what was almost mid day on the field.
ive been hit everywhere that was on the list, and i would rank neck #2 and ear #1 but of course everyone feels different pain. I have a permanent scar on my arm where i was hit. After my first ever game of airsoft i bought gloves because getting hit in the hand really does hurt. i also played paintball and got hit twice in the same spot of my neck (both didnt break) and that was just extreme pain. If you dont mind a little pain every once in a while airsoft is super fun to play and even better to play with friends!
I tried airsoft for the first time today, i loved it of course. I rent stuff and i got a vest but i got mostly shots to my arms and shoulders. At least not in the head, or any on this list. :)
Protect your teeth. My first game ever I went out without a mesh face guard and kept my mouth closed the whole time. I was just paranoid of chipping a tooth.
Same here, I didn’t get into the action much in my first games but after getting a mesh mask, I acted like every game was Call of Duty and started rushing objectives.
I remember taking an unprotected forehead hit at point blank. I was doing airsoft with some neighbors over in their driveway and just turned around at the perfect moment.
i think the worst ive had was a perfectly placed sniper shot from about 40m straight onto a SPOT on my forehead, it hurt like hell but i was only 15 at the time. the initial impact was terrifyingly painful and after about 5 mins after i called my hit and got to respawn the area the spot was shot was numb and bleeding. ever since ive worn a full facemask not just eye pro and a teamsport go kart mask half way down my face.
I got hit once in a gap between my eye pro and helmet from like 3 feet away. Had a balaclava on but still hurt like hell lol, definitely the most painful hit I've taken
UK Atherton airsoft site owner got shot in the testicle by a player and he needed to have surgery afterwards - whenever I go to play the site he is very critical about safety and maintaining slow fire rates.
My worst time getting hit was when my team was defending a hill and I got hit. Except I couldn’t move out since I was in the no man’s land of the firefight and moving would only lead to me getting hit more. Ended up taking 17 rounds to a single kneecap with 7 hitting between the bones. I ONLY got hit in the kneecap.
The worst place is that lower inner shoulder area/ armpit. Not only does it hurt when you first get hit but it stays tender every time you shoulder your rifle and hit that little spot
I’ve been hit in the lip before while I was playing, happened around my highschool days. I was wearing a balaclava with no underside protection, guy came over into a window where I was below and I looked up and took a shot from his Elite Force 1911. It was like my life flashed before my eyes lol. I didn’t get mad at all I just took my hit and went to the staging area. Next thing I know my lip is bleeding. Turns out after I took off the balaclava I had a small cut from the impact which later it swelled up and scabbed up as well. I had to go to school looking like I had Aids 😭🤣. After that incident I started wearing a custom mesh mask & balaclava combo that I made. This was back in like 2014/2015
3rd day of airsoft, I got shot in the ear with only a paper thin ski mask meant purely for camo blocking the bb. My goggles were fogging up so I was already not paying attention to much and that hurt like hell. It was also like 37°F.
Inner thigh and arse hurts a lot initially... Getting shot in the neck from 4m by a teammate in CQB 3 times over 2 games in one sessons, I had a hood up at the time as well
I've seen a friend have a tooth chipped, another have a bb go into his nose and fall into his mouth, I've taken every hit in this video except the teeth lol
I’ve been hit full auto in a soft spot on the top of my head from about 20 yards with no hat and it left a bald spot on my head for a month now think I definitely learned that lesson the hard way
i used to play a lot of backyard pickup games at a friends property. all of my friends were just getting into it with me, and none of us had good paying jobs so the only things we could really afford were goggles and guns/mags. during one of the games, a friend of mine got his tooth shot resulting in 1/2 of his tooth breaking clean off. that was almost 2 years ago, and he is still currently going to the dentist trying to get that tooth fixed/replaced. it has costed him around $3000 in dental repair bills and the pain of getting his tooth drilled/filed, and that is a lot more than the cost of a 17 dollar onetigris mesh mask. ALWAYS invest in lower face protection.
Last time I did airsoft, was doing night games with family. I had just taken my PASGT flak vest off and a grenade landed right in my face. Pulled my M1 down and too the bull force to my neck and chest. Roll over, deaf, and my back lands on grenade #2. I was deaf for about 10 minutes. And before that, I took a 550fps round right to the back of the throat from about 50ft. Went in over the tongue and hit my tonsils.
best protective armor that i got is the one that cover my groin,my biceps and my neck. I dont really know the name of it because its a gift from my brother and hell yeah when i walk out into the battlefield i feel like a juggernaunt. Ofc i still play by the rules, it is just hard to make me feel the pain. The loose pants isnt gonna work really well when your up against sniper rifle
One of my mates got shot in the ear he screamed, we all laughed and then we all got shot, there was 10 in the team and it was just one person shooting. still one of the best days airsofting
I accidentally followed all the rules on my first game from the baggy clothes to the full face protection which was why I was wondering why I didn’t have these problems but I’m glad I watched this
This last summer, me and a few friends got caught behind a building taking cover, a polar star then comes around the corner and just lights us up.......... I was wearing a cheaper face mask that I rented from the shop, 2 of those went through my mask and got caught in my lip and the other chipped my tooth ... That or I got shop my another Polar Star that turned up his air pressure a ton and was shooting 500-600 fps and hit me right in the junk. That was the worst day of my life.
I had a few instances where I got hit in hand one of the worst hits, next to a near point blank shot to the back of the head by a teammate testing his gun just as the game started.
For the mesh mask goggles gap , I cut a small rectangle out of 4mm Eva foam and glued it at the apex of the mask so but short enough that it stops before the foam touches the goggles. It works perfectly fine
With a CQB AUG after reloading I accidentally put my hand over the barrel instead of getting the foregrip. It was new to me. That was my worst hit, shooting myself point blank on the inside of my finger.
I used to wear PIG FDT Alphas when playing because I wanted the extra dexterity that thin, tight gloves allow...until I got shot in the knuckle/fingertip. Now I wear Mechanix M-Pacts which offer better protection but after a particularly bad hit I still fantasize about switching to lacrosse gloves. 😆
Getting pinged in neck arteries within a few seconds off eachother was the worst experience ive ever had while airsofting, moral of the story dont do the sneaky stuff in the center than attack to early, this advice will save you some pain.
As the co-owner of this one airsoft field I go to would say about eye pro "getting shot in the eye with a bb is the equivalent of a grape shooting at a tomato at 50 mph" words I go by every time I go play airsoft. also... the second time I ever played airsoft, this guy tried to push me knowing he could get the jump on me and his mech mouth cover fell down and I shot him on the tip of the tounge. it was crazy the fact that my bb went all the way through his tounge. I have never felt so bad about shooting someone in airsoft
I was playing airsoft at my local field and I was hit from the side by friendly fire right in a vein in my knuckle and it just about burst it ,it was bleeding and everything the kicker is This was about 6 months ago and I still have a bad mark on my hand , definitely would recommend gloves
