Would YOU Buy the NEW Kawasaki ZX-4R? 

If you have never had any experience riding any other bikes prior, I would probably suggest against that. I've been riding around 9 years myself and started on a two cylinder ninja 300. You have to keep in mind that this is going to be a track focused bike. I currently own a 2018 Ninja 400 and a 2021 ZX-6R and love both. I tend to ride my 400 more and can definitely say I'd never suggest my ZX-6R to anyone starting. A 4 cylinder is no joke, no matter the CC. But if your heart is dead set on it, I just reiterate being safe and don't test it's limits.

Pretty certain it tops out at 200-230

@Keller Flanagan I'm also from the US and very excited about this bike I agree with you all the way on that, I also want this as a first bike to just cruise around on, I hear alot of people complaining about the price and power when as for a first bike I think it will be great cus of all the riders modes and power modes and I see alot of people saying "if you're going to spend $10000 on a bike just get the 636 or r6) and of course its going to almost cost the price of a 636 cus its an inline 4 when the 650 has a ptwin with less power so technichally the price is about right even thoe it could be a little bit cheaper lol and even if you put it in its lowest setting it will still be way to powerful for a beginner rider and the thing I like about the zx4rr is that it has the tft display and still has full and low power mode and launch control and in my opinion looks just as good if not better I wish we get the base model zx4r and the zx4rr thoe so we got 2 options to choose from lol

Sure enough the ZX-4R is slower than it's other bigger Kawasaki brothers. But let's be honest here it's not exactly that slow either. Namely you shouldn't be at "full capacity" on the streets with that machine either.

The Zx4 is tempting for sure, but not really what I'm after right now. If it were a super sports I was after it would still be the zx6

The zx6 is about 10% more money. ......Its hard to justify a zx 4 r.

The only thing for me is the ridiculous insurance costs for the 650r in my state

CBR650 are only available in a heavily restricted version in Australia

It’s almost similar in size to the ninja 400, zx4rr .6 inch higher seat, that’s it dimensionally. I have both

As if the cubic centimetres were the only relevant factor to support such a decision lol. The total power, the nice brakes, the competent suspension, the advanced electronics, all of that matter nothing, I see 😅😂🤣

@@felipe-nt-d all the bells and whistles are nice, but 9k for a 400?? Na I’d rather get a 600. Regardless still is a nice bike, I just don’t think the price tag matches the bike
