Depending on the degree of damage there may not be a treatment for low sperm count and some don’t even have any sperm cells cos of abnormal genetics. And considering they have tried IVF several times, it might be very bad.But just like you both said, sperm bank is an option rather than the wife sleeping with someone. Also if the woman is not particular about a child genetically hers, they can adopt (this can be stressful and not straight forward) or use a donor embryo all together so that way the child is not genetically for any of them. If none of these is an option then it’s better to stay without kids, at the end of the day nothing is impossible, miracles happen.
