Thank you! I’ve not yet pushed the car since they’ve been fitted so I haven’t been in a scenario to comment on the advantages, which is why I didn’t make comment in the video. But Dan explained to me in great detail that when he stress tested the wishbones, they were far stronger. I also think these would be a more notice or upgrade from the off without all of the whiteline parts I had already fitted. But I have no doubt that they are doing their job, they have had great feedback on the i30n group.

Hey buddy, thank you. A remap and exhaust upgrade will give you more power and more volume. Unfortunately I don’t know much about the 1.5 engine in the i30 so I can’t give any specifics on upgrades

Thank you. You’ll still need the gpf version of the flex pipe as yours is a gpf car. 2018 cars come without the gpf so have a different length flex pipe

Yes we manufacture MK8 GTI exhausts and they are in stock. We also have MK8 GTI resonator deletes as well.

They're struggling to build them like most manufacturers, plus I'd imagine given the economy, not many are used for mile munching 👍 ordered mine last week, end of July delivery.

@@AJMGoPro how funny!! 😂 thank you mate 😁 I recommend the exhaust yeah. You’ll have to talk to Dan at RPM with regards to fitting, the downpipe is the tricky part to remove/fit.

Not per se. The car isn’t due an MOT until 2025 so emissions shouldn’t be an issue until then. He could put the stock GPF back on if the car fails.

@@ntkenjiii it is louder, yeah. I have now gone with a gpf back from RPM which will be the next feature video and it has the perfect tone and volume now

@@samanson2001 Not necessarily, if it looks like the GPF is still in place.

@@ghostinthemachine76 No, they do an emissions test from the exhaust to test the amount of gases coming out. If its more than normal, its a fail

@@samanson2001 Thank you, that’s what I was wondering. I know in the past it was just a visual check. I haven’t had a car MOT’d for a while so I wasn’t sure what the situation is now. Would it definitely fail an emissions test without the GPF do you think?

@@ghostinthemachine76 it really depends on the garage and how thorough they are. It SHOULD fail but that's not to say it will, some garages won't even bother the emissions check and will just go old school, some will pass it regardless if you just slip them £20 😂 its worthwhile learning how to change the stuff on your own though. Exhaust system stuff really is dead easy to do and you could just swap it over for the MOT then swap it back.
