My husband used to check his outfit with me whenever we were going somewhere. Since the woman typically (yes!) holds the social calendar, we know the setting and appropriate wardrobe. Yes, he dressed to please me, and vice versa.

@Toni P., I pray you’re loving a happy life with him but you might be surprised to find out this type of dynamic would bother a lot of people. I don’t mind my partner asking my opinion if it’s a formal occasion (that’s pretty common for me to do) and I’m fine to do the same from time to time but no one decides what I wear and I’m not interested in dressing my partner. Even for the formal occasion opinion, I’m not trying to pick out clothes for this man. I know some women do that and it kind of grosses me out. I mean him asking my opinion on this or that tie it shows. Something like that.

If fiance Shane, The Hurricane wrestler has this much control over her clothes, he more than likely has total control over her food choices, telephone & computer habits, her friends. This show was 2 years ago. I wonder if they have divorced. She's given him too much power & he's quite satisfied with this arrangement. Her confidence is lacking & self esteem has tanked to where she cannot choose an outfit on her own. She needs to be more independent. And he will move on to find another co-dependent, indecisive female that allows him to make all the decisions.

I can honestly tell you there is no such thing as a 50-50 or equal relationship. There is also no such thing as a perfect relationship. A really good relationship is when one person steps up to where the other person falls short and vice versa. A relationship with communication, willingness to let the small petty bullshit stuff go. A wonderful marriage has love, trust and respect.
